It also can depend on what country you are in. For example in Romania Nikon support is much better than Canon. If you are not an experienced photographer and are looking at around the level of the Canon Rebel EOS T4 I would go for the Nikon D 3200. It is very good value for monry.

We have good support of both Canon and Nikon :) I travel from time to time. Also I am plannong to travel to EU next year. I hope I would not need tech support while I'm there. They say Nikon tend to be longer lasting but I dont want to buy a camera for decades:)

I've been in the market myself for a new DSLR and will be buying soon. So I cannot say I am an expert but will say I've done quite a bit of research. I will also say that I am partial to Canon over Nikon, only because I have had bad luck with the latter. I honestly think both are good brands but I just have my reasons. If you are just starting out, you can buy the T3i very reasonable, but if want to take a step up with the latest technology the T4i will have the latest digic 5 processessor and STM lenses (for video). Since it was just released you will pay a premium price (about 500 more than T3i). Dpreview has great write ups on just about any camera you can think of. I think it comes down to most professionals use Nikon (very high end cameras) and many amateurs to semi professionals use Canon. Canon has seemed to do a better job at providing a good camera at a good price for this market. All just my opinion and what I have learned so far.

So if there is an option to get the same qith btter video why not, but I dont want to sacrifice with pic quality, surely I want to be able to make pics at bad illumination as if ita perfect lightning then even cheap camera or your phone can make womders

So a ways back we had a host tell a member to F*** off for no good reason and it was excused by hosts as her just having a bad day; recenty we have a host directly lying to members via false pictures, and the member gets called a whiner for it, now we have a fellow who is heart broken, and feels like crap, and the response is just a gossip like interest in who caused it, and for him to be laughed at. Good job ladies.

A husband and wife are shopping in their local Wal-Mart.
The husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their cart.
"What do you think you're doing?" asks the wife.
"They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans" he replies.
"Put them back, we can't afford them" demands the wife, and so they carry on shopping.
A few aisles further on along the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it in the basket.
"What do you think you're doing?" asks the husband.
"It's my face cream. It makes me look beautiful," replies the wife.
Her husband retorts: "So does 24 cans of Budweiser and it's half the price."
He never knew what hit him.
