I have a PC that is over 8 years old, uses I.E. 8, has low RAM, et cetera, and I have no problems. Let me put it another way: my PC sucks, and I still have no problems entering video, using cam to cam, viewing pics, et cetera. I sometimes have problems with sound, and get a static-like sound if the host is using sound, but that was happening way before CC updated anything.

I also tried Google Chrome, and everything was okay. I did notice that the graphics seemed a little less clear, but I could surf the site and see the pics okay. And perhaps the graphics were always like this since I never went to CC on Google Chrome before today.

I really don't understand what is going on with people. I do know that there was a recent Java update and a recent Flash update so if you haven't updated your software, perhaps that will help. If you have installed Sun's Java, then go to your control panel and choose the Java icon. Then just choose the update tab and update the software.

To update Flash, go to the following link:

Make sure you uncheck the get Google toolbar box and then click the download button. You should first check to make sure if you already have the latest version (10.2.153.1) by going to the following link:

http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Look for the box on the right. It will tell you your version.

If you are having problems updating Flash, you might need to uninstall it. That is a little more complicated, but not too difficult. Post if you need help doing this, but make it the subject so I or another member can see it easily and notice your post.

Also, try doing an extensive clean of all of your cookies, temporary internet files, et cetera. Right click on the Internet Explorer "e" on your desktop and choose "properties". You should be at the "General" tab. Choose the "Delete" button in the middle of the page. Put green check marks in all of the boxes and then press the new "Delete" button at the bottom of the window. Then click the "OK button on the original window. This will also wipe out any saved passwords so make sure you remember yours.

If you are using Google Chrome, click the wrench at the top right of the window. The words "Customize and Control Google Chrome" appear when you point to it. The wrench is just above "Other bookmarks" and next to the star. After clicking the wrench, go to "Tools" and select "Clear browsing data...". Fill all the boxes with green check marks and press the "Clear browsing data" button.

You should always take these steps just before you shut down your computer. Others may disagree and say that it slows things down, but that is only true the first time you go back to a site. And like I said, I have a very old PC and all is fine. In fact, because I'm going to porn sites, lol, I do this all the time during the day and also make sure to manually update my anti-virus software throughout the day as well rather than waiting for the automatic updates.

Finally, the last thing you should do is go to the following site:

That site will allow you to clear out all of your Adobe flash cookies. Click the "Delete all sites" button on the right. I do this every now and then, but it wouldn't hurt to do it each day. You can also access this link when you are clearing browsing data on Google Chrome. You will see a link for it just next to the "Clear browsing data" button.

I don't know anything about Firefox, Mozilla, or other browsers, but I'm sure they have ways to clean out old files as well. I would do it for every browswer installed on your computer.

If none of this helps, and if no browser work for you, I have no idea what is wrong. Like I said, with both I.E. 8 and Google Chrome, I don't have problems. I have a pretty good internet connection most of the time but my PC is old so I am surprised others are having so much trouble.

thanks cc, the problem is fixed now. so whatever you changed on your end technically in the last 8 hours or so has fixed the problem. i can see photos in the host archives again.

You are assuming that is the person that gave you a low rating. The ratings are updated once a day, at 00:00 CC time.

Are you sure he was the person that gave you a low rating? Even if he left your video at 23:59 CC time and the ratings updated 1 minute later, it could have been someone that visited you earlier that day.

Also, in terms of being allowed to meet, CC doesn't care. You can give your email, your phone number, et cetera. Some other sites definitely care, but not CC.

If you told him you are not allowed to meet, he may have given you a low rating because he felt you were lying. Some studio bosses may have different rules and say no meetings, et cetera, but once again, CC does not., so if you are at a studio, you need to say your boss doesn't let you meet or give out personal information to protect the safety of the other girls at the studio. Do not say it is CC setting these rules because most of us know that is not true, and like I said, the guy might have given you a low rating since he felt you lied to him, sort of like all the Glamour hosts that say they can't strip, lol.

Of course, giving a low rating because of not being willing to meet, even if a host lied about the reason, is an asshole move. But like I said, you don't know if this guy was the person that rated you lower unless he was the only viewer that day.

Also remember, if you had, for example, 5 stars, he still could have given you 4 stars and that could have lowered you to 4,5 stars. It doesn't necessarilly mean he gave you a bad rating. It just means he might have given you a rating lower than what you had before so when it was recalculated, your rating went down.

maybe ratings shouldn't be given by the viewers but based on the amount of time the viewer spends in the actual vid, as if a viewer doesn't like the host for whatever reason they will leave pretty early on, and a viewer who likes a host will spend much longer in vid. Probably not the greatest idea ever, but there it is

Minutes in video is also affected by price so that gives a lower priced host an advantage. Also, sometimes a session starts off well and then turns ugly. A host shouldn't get credit for a longer video if she, for example, told a member that she would strip after 10 minutes, and then didn't deliver as promised. Or, for example, yesterday, a host I was with started talking to her boss or boyfriend (or both, lol) 10 minutes into the session. I stayed since she was hot and doing well enough but then I one starred her for not paying attention. Had she not done that, she would have had 5 from me, but she stopped reading what I was typing, et cetera, so she got 1 star.

Now if you meant that the member's rating is multiplied by the minutes in video, that could work a little better, but there is still the problem of lower priced hosts having an advantage. Also, I think it would make most hosts end up with very high ratings and that is already a problem in my view. I think too many average hosts have 4,5 and 5 stars since members tend to be generous despite the complaints from hosts.

I would increase the sample size of votes from the last 10 to the last 25, and make it so one vote per member of these 25 votes (and try to confirm not multiple accounts by looking at CC's records and IP address). That won't solve all the problems, but it would help.

It is more representative of a what CC is... a site where two people can just have a nice chat or do more so I hope they don't change too much. What are you talking about? We are the customers so it is "our" experience they are trying to impove, but that doesn't makie it "our" site.

Had you not had such a negative, attacking, hostile attitude, I would have read "our" site as meaning you felt like CC was a part of your life and you were distrubed by the changes. But the overall attitude of your first few posts indicates that you meant much more than that. It is clear that you feel that you have some type of ownership interest in CC in the sense that they owe you something as if you were a stockholder.

Putting aside the debate over the use of "our", the underlying point is this: the hostility in your post was equilvalent to a two-year old child getting upset that he wasn't getting his way. There were much better ways to express the fact that you didn't like the changes or the technical glitches. And I don't like them either, but you didn't see me acting like CC had done something horrible to me personally.

It was fine before, one could zoom and see the pics and scroll through them in the corner of your screen while you were doing something else. Screw the jokes about glasses, one COULD zoom them larger. Now it will be tied to the page. So much for (lack of) progress.

as far as i can tell, internet explorer is no longer working to view photos. mozilla works. i have always used internet explorer to browse cc, and i only keep mozilla on my pc for cases such as this. i am kind of suprised as i thought internet explorer is commonly used no?

IE8 works but not IE9.

I'm not a frequent visitor to the forums, so please excuse my ignorance... but when were the viewers consulted about any proposed changes to the site?

I access CC via Windows and Linux and the 'old' popup photos worked most everywhere.. but I'm not sure about this new scheme, as I haven't tried it out yet. If it's some Java(script) thing, it will probably cause all sorts of problems and I expect the site will not fallback to the old scheme if the server detects non-IE8+ browsers.

On the other side of it, I would prefer to see some updates in how the video sessions are managed. Having detachable video displays, selectable bandwidths, and frame rate displays for viewers would all be useful features for enhanced browsers.

Thanks to CC for attempts to improving the site... but I'd appreciate a different mechanism for determining what features to include and how the rollout is to happen.

It sounds like eventually these changes could be a positive improvement especially for the viewers.
It would certainly have been nice for some kind of announcement from CC prior to the changes that were implemented and asking for patience through the process with some kind of explanation of what the final results would be. Also stating what browser would work the best to eliminate this confusion and frustration.
Even though we are not the decision makers for this site we are all key elements to the success of it.

But from their half they expenses including ongoing payments to websites that refer people to CC. Think about how you first "found" CC. I click on a link in an ICQ profile. That link contained an ID that linked my account to the referrer and they got a piece of everything I spent....there are expenses in business and CC is not cheap to run or to attract new members.

What CC gets depends on how the member joined. If he joned via a refeering site CC may get 60 pct or may get half. of course they have to make payments to referring sites and meet other operating expenses from this. The split between studio and host is decidedc by the studio. I do not know crrent trand but in the past it was often 50-50 or 60pc studio/40 pc host but sometimes the studio took more.

Latvian studio girl I used to be quite enamored with told me she got 17% of the Studio's take. hardly seems worth it to work for that. Working for peanuts would be almost be better. Can you imagine. $2/minute, 50 minutes show, total take $100. so for 50 minute show the host would only make $17. Maybe in other countries that's a good wage, but in USA it would suck big time.

the studio gets a half and from that half the host gets approx 1/3 to 1/2 depending on the studio. This is true in south africa dont know about other countries

They're tired of being mislead and lied to. The only times I've left in the first minute is when the photos do not match live, the host is live on at least one or more other sites and ignores me in video or when it is clear the host has lied about what she does in video. CC does advise viewers to leave video in less than 2 minutes if things are not going well in video.

So many reasons.... profile pics are often very well done with the host appearing at her best. Or they are staged to hide a host's imperfections. You can have a great profile pic and a not so great video presence.

Then there are girls who look awful in video even with great pics because it is the middile of the night...the girls are tired. The girls are dressed in t shirt and jeans...not the lingerie in the profile pic...they are not smiling...not into the performance. They can be eating, or more interested in chatting with the other hosts, or other members on free chat...just not into it. Or their english is bad. So many reasons...

oh to follow up on your logic, I said "15 years" because it has been about 15 years since LP records were completely (or near completely) phased out due to the CD revolution. I have found everything I want and more in Glamour & Little Shy....I never had to spend the money for Instant Action...occasionally Not so Shy. It has nothing to do with the category and everything to do with the host....she can do anything she pleases in any adult category...and many do...and often for the right price. Categories other than the differentiation between non-adult and adult are meaningless....except for our expectations....but again..it is all about the host and her willingness.

I really have to disagree with that remark. Hardcore is the host doing a show for you. As far as price, there are both high and low priced hosts in every category. And if you are not getting what you came here for, price does not matter.

Surely to say something is "widely thought" and then add "some" is a contradiction. I have certainly never thought IA hosts do not speak English. Although there are hosts with high prices in other adult categories I think you will generally find that the average price in IA is higher than in Glamour, Littleshy and Not Shy.

Yes my grammar is flawed. But when pricing softcore against IA you have to compare 121 against open. And even at higher prices, you spend far less in fast shows.

I accept that very few in glamour strip (topless or nude) in open video but there are some. Cell towers have to be above ground specifically for signal transmission reasons. However, it shouldn't affect electricity. Aside from the traditional reasons to build a power PLANT above ground (given the space they require or the support structure they need to operate), there's no reason that more power CABLES couldn't be run underground -- which would make things look nicer,

Why not say where you got your figures from? Where were these people who died and how were their deaths connected with the accident. I have checked again and now find one report published last year which estimates the total number of deaths to be 985,000 but it is not clear what data this is based on. In any case it is certainly not the deaths that occurred within 1 year of the accident.

Since Chernobyl over 120,000 people have died in coal mining related accidents in China alone. This is based on the official figures which are likely to underestimate the real total.

They said the same about windmills when they were first built and i should know i was there. Now windmills are considered cool and cuddly. But having said all that i would not want one or 100 built next to my house so i guess you have a point. It's a fact they are here to stay, where possible they should be built far enough offshore to not be an eyesore and where not possible they should be painted by an artist to at least look less ugly.
