great idea "A Member"
Oh yes. The forum looks great with all of the posts about "I need....". I can only imagine if all did what you said, lol. And since some popular hosts are posting, your thought that only a few less popular ones would post was wrong. We even got some of the "I'm sad" type posts too, as expected. At least those posts are by hosts that probably could really use the money, and I wish them luck, but a popular host (former cover girls, for example) posting for members to play is over the top.

The number of posts is about what I expected. You made my point for me in your post. "I can only imagine ...." You can only imagine because in practice most hosts do not post. It is easy to identify which are the posts about pieces and is easy for you to avoid opening and reading them. You simply seem annoyed that for this short time the forum does not conform to some arbitrary aesthetic standard you have set.

No, what annoys me is that such posts are desperate cries for attention all in the name of money. You even have one former cover girl that charges $3,00/min open who apparently is so desperate to share a prize that she thinks repetitive posts are the way to go. I can only hope for her sake that she is not in some type financial or personal crisis, and that only the green-eyed monster is to blame.
I can give you a long list, as I am sure you can give me, of hosts that get very little video, especially during contests, that have not resorted to such tactics. Perhaps they should, assuming such posts actually work. But given that the majority of hosts refrain from transparent attempts at getting their name out there, I think the majority would seem to believe that such posts are inappropriate even if they are not quite as annoyed about it all as I am.

get a life ... the hosts make most of their money during this time frame and many of them put in long hours. If they post on the site, so be it. Its what forums are about.
As the gentleman below said, the titles of most of the posts tell you what they are about. Don't open them if it bothers you.

Member, I can understand your point but only to a limited extent. The contest overwhelms the forum so we lose our normal variety of interesting and informative discussion. :) However, the contests don't last long and nobody forces us to read threads that don't interest us. Perhaps it boils down to what people want to talk about and the majority wants to talk about puzzle pieces during the contests. There is nothing shameless or offensive about it. Majority rules.

Yes and no. I will not initially visit a host unless I have chatted with her in free video. However I may later visit her many times and free video chat doesn't matter.

I'm really glad Pam won this, I was playing for her to win, not for myself.
I really don't mind who she combined puzzled with. Congratulations to whoever the lucky guy was who got the pieces that I couldn't.
If Pam waited for me, she'd have been waiting forever, as I gave up playing the puzzle, and trying to get pieces. I wouldn't dream of taking a cent from what she earned or won, it's her prize and her money - she's an amazing woman, and she deserves every cent of it. It's just a shame she couldn't have won alone, or won a bigger prize. :)

i have to say congrats! Each time i looked to enter your room you were in 1to1 , so i think you had a very profitable weekend! Don't spend it all in 1 place!
Contest - Why No Altruism allowed?
Why can you still not combine even if you win solo? A member may still want to share the prize with his favorite host even if he wins solo. Sometimes the last pieces come so fast there is no chance to take up the chance to share. CC could introduce a share/not share option when a member gets the solo prize.
