I dated a few hosts from CC, all went fine, had sex etc....some are still friends, we mail or phone...but I was always honest enough I wasn't looking for a real relationship

Not the best thing to do in my opinion. Here yes, you might find some very open minded awsome people. But the outside world has nothing to do with this. There are some fucked up people out there who rush to judge before even knowing any details at all.. It really depends on how open minded the guy is. Try to ask him but not so directly..hey i have a friend who does camming, what do you think about this? i heard it's an awsome job..bla bla.. things like this. See what his opinion on this is at first, dont jump to say you are the one doing it. You might get into serious trouble saying you're secret to whoever is not worthy or understanding enough to know it.

I hope to think we are advanced enough in society that we can either accept her occupation, discuss if this is something she wants to continue to do if she wants a relationship, or share with her honestly whether you can accept it or not. It is also a decision a cam model must make if she or he feels they can cam model while in a relationship and discuss with their partner to continue camming or step away from it. There is no one straight decision.
Many models cam because they like the exposure, but others do this to pay for college or their bills to support their family.
Its not simply a cut and dry answer.

This is a really good question i can answer you better i think, than over viewers. Let me explain. Friends of mine introduced me to a woman two years ago. We had a lot of chats and meet and we are together since a year and we'll get married this year; i asked her to marry me this summer :) Well. When my friends introduced me, i didn't knew she was camming. And i wasn't a viewer. When we meet for the first time, she told me, not about camming, but she told me that she had been a model and gave me her nicknames. It didn't took me a long time to discover she was camming. Exactly 1 hour. Thanks Google & Yandex. Well, i've been shocked at first, but i remarked that she didn't have been online for a long time, so i didn't told about what i know. But she updated her profiles (she has 3 there and 1 active on LJ). Then i've created my profile and sorry for the stupid nickname i've chosen (lol), and began to talk with hosts, only talk. To know and understand what was your job exactly. Then i've understood and i appreciate the hosts with whom i had chats. They can confirm, some of them still discussing with me, that's why i didn't have delete my profile))) Well this is not the question ))) I wanted to talked about that she was camming on summer and gave her some indications to make her understanding that i knew, but she answered she has never done that. So i understood that was her secret and i don't have to bother her anymore with that.
I think that this is important to tell it. I personally know what is it, and i accept that. But some people won't, and if they discover it later, they should be angry. Well okay I have all kinds of questions about you asking a woman to marry you, when a possibly crucial part of what she does (camming!) she keeps hidden from you. Her fiance. hmm. if I understnad it right, you are going to marry the woman. She lies to your face about her job (very important part of her life). Instead of talking with her about it seriously, like adult men do, you create profile and start to spy her and along the way to have fun with other women. No, you are not better to answer than other viewers. Just because you've had a particular experience, does not mean your experience is ideal, or how it should be, or even representative of anyone else. There are too many people, too many variables.

(2) if you can't be honest with the person, then maybe the person (or the relationship) is not what it should be (3) If the person can't accept what your honesty is saying, then maybe he's not the right person. (4) as to timing, who knows? Every person is different. You have to judge that situation for yourself. Personally, I don't see the value of waiting past the 2nd date

I think I would want to know the truth around the same time we learn more details about each other's jobs, particularly if we enjoy each other a lot. As for me, this would not be a problematic job if a woman I felt good with shared that she works via camming. I would probably join her. ;-)

You can find the occasional real friend but sometimes it can be a challenge to figure out which ones are not just based on pure $. Has CC changed the criteria for the star ratings? or perhaps the process for earning them? Seems like all of a sudden a lot of 5-star hosts, and some of them, I could swear were 3 and 2 stars before. Is there a "reset" button? Do the ratings expire after a time and start fresh?

Just a thought that it would be good for a note, or icon on hosts profiles who insist on the viewer having a cam on before anything happens.
It would be useful from a viewers, and hosts view to have this, just so there isn't any miscommunication / frustrations for both parties, especially for those viewers (like me) who don't have a camera, or choose not to want to turn it on for various reasons.
Would just be handy for that to be on the profile, in my view, so we don't waste time and money. Have nothing against that hosts, fully your prerogative, just be useful to know

Some do. Some get downright dogged. Some then become dismissive if you don't do it right away. You'd be surprised.

If a host "insists" on cam2cam, the visit is terminated. We pay to see them, not for us to pay to give them a free show. It could possibly lead to a complaint to CC, similar to those hosts who "insist" they will only "perform" in 121 when CC rules say they shouldn't

idk, it depends. maybe some hosts have a lower rate in open chat and don't do the full and entire show...because they want the privacy that 121 offers. it could be a nuisance being mid action and having another guy apear like "hello, how are you?" ...

No excuses, CC rules are such, that you cannot off in 121 anything you won't do in open show. If you want privacy, 1 on 1, then put in a password for favourite members.

Just so hosts know, the priority of hosts in a favorites list is by the last time they were online (more or less). Members have no control over the order of favorites, so clearly if they have dozens of favorites it's a tough situation to manage :))))

The difficulty, here, Ms MB, is that the site navigation involved in deleting older Favorites is at best arcane and burdensome......CC would do well to change it, the problem being that, when you finally accept the fact the a few of your favourites have moved on and you delete the first, the screen reloads to the first page again, necessitating that wearisome journey through all those great memories never to return.....

I found a slightly quicker way to delete several in a row. Right-click on Delete and Open in new tab. Helps with the spring cleaning.

thanks SR for clarifying that. A * system for the favs would be great, but separate from the rating system. Being able to assign a *, **, or *** (or something similar) and then having them appear in the fav list by # of stars would be great.
