A Friend

well time has come when we all think about things that has happen to us during our time at cc, some have gone and some have come, some have made good friends with each other and some have become enemies with each other, some became rude, some became happy, some have kept in contact with each other in other ways and some have forgotten them, some have lie, and some have been honest, some we don"t trust and some we do, well my friend I have to say to you that you have been a good person and had fun being here , but it seems, when things have to end, it becomes sad, I just want to say I will missed the laughter we shared and the fun we had, I will missed you my good friend and made God be with you and my thoughts and prayers will be with your family, rest well and go in peace.

joke,maybe

While she was 'flying' down the road yesterday, a woman passed over a bridge only to find a cop with a radar gun on the other side lying in wait.

The cop pulled her over, walked up to the car, with that classic patronizing smirk we all know and love, asked, 'What's your hurry?'

To which she replied, 'I'm late for work.'

'Oh yeah,' said the cop, 'what do you do?'

'I'm a rectum stretcher,' she responded.

The cop stammered, 'A what? A rectum stretcher?
And just what does a rectum stretcher do?'

'Well,' she said, 'I start by inserting one finger, then work my way up to two fingers, then three, then four, then with my whole hand in. I work from side to side until I can get both hands in, and then I slowly but surely stretch it, until it's about 6 feet wide.'

'And just what the heck do you do with a 6 foot butthole? ' he asked.
'You give him a radar gun and park him behind a bridge...'

Age Question

Need ur opinion... really intrested to know especially members point of view. Do u pay real attention to the hosts age? Or it doesnt matter much for u if u like the woman? I just often argue with my female friend who works in CC too about it . She says I shouldnt put my real age into my Profile- it should be a little mystery for Guests, and she adds that the members prefer to visit young hosts here. Is it really so I wonder? Sometimes I put my age, sometimes I delete it...lol But I would prefer to be honest and see no reasons to conceal it... but may be I really lose some Guests coz of it ?!..( Btw I m 37)

RE: Age Question

If I am interested in a show, I don't care about age.... I just care about how a host looks and the show she puts on. I will look at the pics, and if they are good and the price is right, I will check her out. (Hopefully, the pics will be accurate.) But I don't think it is a secret that very often, a person's body is not quite as attractive as the person ages so I would probably end up going for a younger host due to looks, not age. (And yes, I know there are some very hot women that are 40 or even older... I am talking about "in general".)

If I am not interested in a show.... Well, wait, I am a guy that is on a cam site... I am always interested in a show at some level, lol... Let me rephrase..... When I am not focused on getting a show and am okay with talking, I will not worry about age. I still will want a pretty face and someone nice to look at but I am not focused on age. And with an older host, I might find the conversation more interesting.

Thirty-seven is fine. I would not just automatically eliminate you from consideration. If you're hot, then age doesn't matter. And I might even find it more fun to laugh and to play with you than some 18 to 21 year old. (And by the way, sex in real with a woman 30 to 40 is often a lot better than with someone younger.)

RE: Age Question

I was wondering how long i will do camming (been doing it 6 years) but I hear grannies porn is becoming very popular, so don't you worry, there is plenty of fish in the sea for the younger and for the older :)

Reply

RE: Age Question

I don't care about the age. When I visit a profile I read the text and watch the pics. If I like what I see/read I check the price - and then either I enter or not.
Anyway usually in a small talk the age is being asked....
So dont worry about your age which is quite nice :)

Reply

RE: Age Question

Age is not important to me, being friendly and nice means much more. I usually only look at the age section of the profile to see just how much the host tries to hide it lol. Many I meet here will tell me quickly they are older than what is on the profile.

Really age and wisdom can make for a better show than just being cute and young ;)

RE: Age Question

As I have heard the term "Nice Age" , both personally and mentioned frequently in the forum, I would suppose age is secondary to whatever those communicating seek or find in common.

What does matter to me is attitude, charm and that certain "je nais se quois".

From a personal perspective, I think it is the artist persona I am attracted to. And no , I don't mean gymnastic skills.. :) Cheers..

RE: Age Question

It is "Je ne sais quoi", and it means "I don't know what" in French. You say it when you don't know what else to say - it means something un-definable.

Quoi (Qua) means "what". "Sais" is the first person conjugation for the word "savoir".

'je nais se qua' is a common misconception (esp. in canada). You have further twisted ne or nais to "nous". "nous" means us in french.

RE: Age Question

I tend to find that many of my best video experiences are actually with the more mature hosts. The reason is quite straightforward...they have learned what their body responds positively to, and how to give themselves pleasure; the younger hosts are often still on a learning curve.

Reply

RE: Age Question

I was never interested in any specific age. I do care in people's mental maturity. There are hosts in their late 30's that are more immatured than others in their early 20's. A nice chat is important for me than age. Besides, marriage or any serious relationship will not be a factor so age is not important.

Reply

RE: Age Question

The age does not matter, the person and personality and character matter most.

It is offensive if you lie about your age to catch a member in video.

Reply

RE: Age Question

Hell no, I am 40 years old and I dont like teenagers. I want to see women in their late 20's to early 30's I usually go out of video when they say they are 18-19 We all know most profiles say 18. Then you look at the pics and think she's 28 and she says I am 19, lol. Why not say the truth? I dont like teenagers. Not even lots of make-up hides your real age. It can hide a couple of years, but not 8-10 years. Honestly, I would definitely like that hosts say the true age, afterall most members here are between the ages of 40 and 60

Friend versus Member

Where is the line between being a friend and being a member?

All relationships here (unless a member met a host on another site or a host

likes text chat a lot or free sessions a lot, lol) begin with a member

paying to visit, see, and talk to a host in video. Then, over time,

friendships and maybe even romantic relationships develop. But what then?

Once a there is either a friendship or romantic relationship, is it proper

for a member to pay to see to and talk to his friends or significant others?

It is no secret that most people use yahoo here so clearly there is an

alternative to such an arrangement. And obviously, there are times when a

"friend" will visit a host to help her out such as contest time. Or maybe a

member is so rich he doesn't really care about paying. But even with

discounts, occasional free sessions with paswords, et cetera, should a friend

pay to talk to and see his friend?

Paying to talk to friends just seems like a strange dynamic. Yes, people did

meet here, and one must respect the fact that hosts are here to make money,

but where should the line be drawn? And when one considers the amount of

money involved even at a rate as low as $0,50, is it proper to pay at least

$30,00/hour (and probably a lot more) to talk to your "friend" or to "date"?

I know of hosts that have very good relationships with members that they

consider "friends" and talk on yahoo but will never send cam there. They

expect their "friends" to visit them on the site to use video. (Yes, I know

some hosts are too busy to send cam, or are on other sites and cannot use

split cam or whatever for yahoo too, or their connection is bad, or work in

a studio and are not allowed, et cetera.) I also know of hosts that will

always send yahoo cam to their favourite members and truly consider these

people friends, never expecting them to enter video. Some send cam while

they work and others take the time to send before or after they start to

work. I just am not sure what is appropriate.

For me, the idea of paying to be friends with someone is strange. After the

relationship is established, I would generally feel that I am either a very

good member that pays to talk to a host in video or that I am truly a friend

and we can chat and use video outside of the site for no charge. I just have

difficulty with the idea of paying to be friends. I have no problem paying

to get to know someone, and I have no problem visiting a host to help her

out, but once a host is telling a member that she is his "friend" (and it is

not just some line to get a member back into video), it seems very strange to

continue to have money as the basis for that relationship.

What are everyone's thoughts about this issue?

RE: Friend versus Member

You have described exactly the situation I mean.

Your grocer considers you a good customer, not his friend. He likes you so he does things that are a little special for you.

Do he and his wife visit you at your house for dinner? Do you go to their house to watch a movie? Do you call each other on the phone and say "Hey... How's it going?" Is he somebody you would turn to in a time of crisis? If not, then he is not your friend at least according to how I would define friendship.

What he does for you is to help one of his good customers just like hosts who talk on yahoo but then ask the member to visit video. Sure, you have some friendly conversations and ask about the family and stuff while you are in the store, but you really feel that he is your friend?

And even if he was your friend, of course he should not give you free apples all of the time since he paid for them. The situation is different. I do not pay for a friend to spend time with me in real life.

The point of my post is should I be paying to spend time with a friend just because she is a host and this is what she sells? Should I open up a host account and tell everyone that "Okay, I am a host so you must pay to see me?"

I am not questioning a host and her reasons for being there. I am talking about those times when a true friendship develops and asking if at that point, should a person still be paying to speak with his friend.

RE: Friend versus Member

Are you trying to say that a grocer should work for free or give his groceries away to his friends? If you had a lifelong friend who became a grocer you woul dthen expect to eat for free? You must separate business from friendship. Your problem is that you are paying working women for companionship not a grocer for groceries. It is what they are doing to earn a living. You are creating this concocted dilema so that you can justify your payments or so that you can request free services by claiming some right of friendship. Don't hide this fact.

Reply

RE: Friend versus Member

yeah, i can see how the commodification of companionship can throw some people for a loop. it seems something that someone wouldn't want to admit to buying - it seems inherently kind of pitiful and something a person would not even want to admit to one's self.
it's definitely not like buying a bunch of bananas.

Reply

RE: Friend versus Member

I would compare it to a friend who works as a waitress. Even if you knew her outside of the restaurant first, you will tip her if you come to eat in her place of work. However, if you know she is busy at work, you won't hang around and expect to talk to her as a friend.

If you met at the restaurant you could become the kind of friend that ipost is talking about, and that friendship would take place mostly away from her place of work. Again, if she serves your meal at the restaurant, you will tip her.

She might call you on the phone during a slow time at work, and you would not expect to pay her for that, but as soon as she gets busy she hangs up the phone with no guilt and no complaint from you.

As a friend she WILL NOT expect or ask you to come down and eat at the restaurant just because she needs your tips, and tipping her would NOT be the main reason for your friendship regardless of whether you met at the restaurant or not. If you ceased to eat at the restaurant at all the friendship would continue. (at least the type of friendship ipost is talking about.)

If you are rich.. you will have friends here for life ;)

Reply

RE: Friend versus Member

Hey, I understand what you mean. Is it appropriate to pay spending time with a "friend"? ...When you call a real-life friend to go for a drink, would you pay the time he spents with you? I wont.
Here its the same. For me its not friendship to get a message only when the host is online and wants me to visit her video.
When she is in real life, I dont here a sound of her even if she has my mobile number. But the moment CC starts, I become her friend and she sends me a textmessage....(thats only an example ;))
So I think the members are customers. They pay for a service (show, chat, etc.). I used to think I have 2-3 special friends here, but well - was misstaken. So I decided not to listen to the "friend"-word. When I enter CC, I like to have fun, no matter if it is sex or show or a nice talk.

Reply

RE: Friend versus Member

KinkyDiva made the best comment. This is a pay site so of course you have a "professional" relationship which is paid for, but that doesnt mean you can't also become online friends and enjoy each others company. This happens all the time with all sorts of "service industries" so why not here.

Reply

RE: Friend versus Member

There is time and place for everything. I agree with that saying, but not everyone runs with the luck of being rewarded with "friendship" everywhere. I have been a member of CC for 5 years and I still haven't met anyone here whom I can call "friend." I can't say I saw one host for free. I never asked, they never offered. I always paid and pay if I want to see any host. So why call someone here a friend? I have no reason.
Of course, there might be a few exceptions. Maybe lucky guys or just nice guys, lol. I know some hosts make "free privates" or send their cam on chat messengers to member friends. I guess they can say they have friends, but not in my case.
It really does not bother me if I have or had friends here or no. I enjoy cc and I will still be a member in CC as long as they keep the apples nice, lol. The truth is the hosts "work" here to earn some money and the members are here to see the hosts' performance or just for virtual fantasy. It's fair the host get paid, after all I will not be able to make my fantasies real or virtual if it wasn't for CC.

Reply

RE: Friend versus Member

I guess that I define friendship differently than some people.

I am not talking about being very friendly and having a nice relationship with someone. I have no problem being a "member" and paying a host in such a situation.

When I say "friend", I am talking about someone that you are very close to. I am talking about someone that is in your heart and that you are in hers.

I am not talking about someone at work that maybe you have a beer with after work is over on an occasion. I am talking about a true friend. I am talking about someone that you would help in a time of crisis and that you could count on to help you. I am talking about something much more than a very friendly, but yet still casual, acquaintance.

I know that there are a lot of feelings that develop between hosts and members and that they consider each other "friends". But as long as the member is paying, I still question if this is a true friendship or is it just a very friendly customer relationship.

I know hosts are here to make money. I have no problem with that. I have no problem chatting with a host and paying to see her when I am bored or lonely or need someone to talk to.

I just have difficulty with the idea that when I am paying, that I am paying a friend to talk to me. It is a service, not friendship, and I see very little, if any, overlap no matter how well the member and host get along.

Remember, other than a free session, the minimum rate here is $30/hour to chat. That does not sound like friendship to me. That doesn't mean that members should not pay hosts. I just question whether they should be paying friends if a host really is a friend. A member would never do that in real, so why here? And if the answer is that this is not reality, then my response is that then it is not friendship either.

RE: Friend versus Member

How much time would you spend talking to these 10 to 15 people and sending your cam for free if they were not visiting you on cc? That might be a good test for you and other hosts.

And I have no problem with your answer, by the way. I just have the problem with the idea use of the term "friend" when another term such as "member" or "customer" would be more appropriate no matter how "friendly" the person is with the host. That is all, and that was the intent of my post.

I also, by the way, acknowledge in my posts that I have no problem helping a host out by visiting her on cc. I have, by the way, sent a lot of money to help people that I have met on sites. (It may well be close to $80,000 to 100,000 so I am certainly not some cheap member looking for free shows. I might be a stupid member, but I am not a cheap one.)

Reply

RE: Friend versus Member

What chathost in her right mind would agree with you and risk her relationships with her regular members/clients? I agree, I think the kind of friendship you're talking about is quite rare and certainly very difficult to cultivate in a place like CC.

But it's just semantics. I have no problem calling my relationship with some chathosts a "friendship," because that relationship is interesting to me for all kinds of reasons, and it's one I want to cultivate over time, if circumstances allow. I love my friends, in all kinds of ways...:))))

I mean, be nice, but don't take CC so seriously. My two cents anyway. I appreciate your post.

Reply

RE: Friend versus Member

You can't call "friends" who treats you professionally. There is a professional relationship if you pay for a service you received. Can you call your psychologist a friend after you get a huge bill? You asked and paid. That's a professional relationship not friendship.

Grapes

Duck walks into a bar and says to the bartender "Got any Grapes?"
Bartender says "Nope"
Duck says "hmmm" and walks out.
Duck comes back the next day and asks again "Got any grapes?"
Bartender says "Hey pal I told you yesterday we don't have any grapes. This is a bar. Now get out of here."
Duck leaves and returns the next day and again asks for grapes.
The bartender yells "Listen you little whacko I've told you several times that we don't have any grapes. The next time you come in here and ask for grapes I am going to nail your feet to the floor!!!!!"
Duck says "uhoh" turns and waddles out.
Nest day the duck again walks into the bar and asks the bartender "Got any nails?

RE: mysterios pictures

Hosts do not show their faces in galleries, even to members, for privacy reasons. This probably makes it less likely that a member will enter video because he does not want to waste his money on a host that he is not attracted to. I suppose that some members might like the mystery aspect and maybe some others figure that they will take a chance and pay for a minute to see what the host looks like, but I would expect most to stay away and move on to another host. Of course, if the host has a hot body and looks sexy in her faceless pics, the member might be more willing to try her in video. You will have to decide for yourself if you qualify.

Another thing that some hosts do is never to show their face at the same time they are naked in video. The reasons for this are obvious and will not be stated here. But this practice will deter members from staying in video. There are even cases where a host won't show her face in video at all which is obviously going to drive members away.

You need to balance your interests in privacy with your desire to and ability to attract members. One suggestion would be to establish enough regulars, and then hide the pics of your face and hope that you get some new visitors every now and then even without showing face in pics.

Also note that at a minimum, you can have a pics without face for non-members and pics with face for members.

I'm not sure if this is what "restricted" means. It seems you are blocking some people on a geographical basis and if you have blocked the USA that represents a large amount of your potential custom. You've a nice body btw, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like tattoes.

RE: well i was told can show my photos

non members cant see u.,only members can coming on video.guests cant.btw 90% guys from usa.so better unblock thems.or only block ur state.,

I'm with the others -- I can't access your profile, so I can't visit or give you any business at this time. Without naming a state in particular (so you can preserve your privacy somewhat), I assume you are in one on the west coast that I am in. But I wouldn't worry too much about being noticed by someone you actually know. What are the realistic odds of that? Do you actually have friends that you know of who are out web surfing cam sites?

How Not To Get A Speeding Ticket,,,maybe

A rookie police officer pulled a biker over for speeding and had the following exchange:
* Officer: May I see your driver's license?
* Biker: I don't have one. I had it suspended when I got my 5th DUI.
* Officer: May I see the owner's card for this vehicle?
* Biker: It's not my bike. I stole it.
* Officer: The motorcycle is stolen?
* Biker: That's right. But come to think of it, I think I saw the owner's card in the tool bag when I was putting my gun in there.
*Officer: There's a gun in the tool bag?
* Biker: Yes sir. That's where I put it after I shot and killed the dude who owns this bike and stuffed his dope in the saddle bags.
* Officer: There's drugs in the saddle bags too?!?!?
* Biker: Yes, sir. Hearing this, the rookie immediately called his captain. The biker was quickly surrounded by police, and the captain approached the biker to handle the tense situation:
* Captain: Sir, can I see your license?
* Biker: Sure. Here it is. It was valid.
* Captain: Who's motorcycle is this?
* Biker: It's mine, officer. Here's the registration.
* Captain: Could you slowly open your tool bag so I can see if there's a gun in it?
* Biker: Yes, sir, but there's no gun in it. Sure enough, there was nothing in the tool bag.
* Captain: Would you mind opening your saddle bags? I was told you said there's drugs in them.
* Biker: No problem. The saddle bags were opened; no drugs.
* Captain: I don't understand it. The officer who stopped you said you told him you didn't have a license, stole this motorcycle, had a gun in the tool bag, and that there were drugs in the saddle bags.
* Biker: Yeah, I'll bet he told you I was speeding, too.

Same officer, I think, stopped a woman for speeding and asked for her driver's license. She complied and the officer, after reviewing the information on her license, told her he noticed she was required to wear glasses when driving. The woman promptly told the officer she had "contacts", to which the officer replied;; "Lady, I don't care who you know, I want to know where are your glasses?"

Lone Ranger Last Request

"I heard this the other day and thought came to my mind, I should shared this to those who are fans of the Long Ranger:
The Lone Ranger is captured by Indigenous peoples... The Aboriginal (Indian) Chief proclaims, 'So, you are the great Lone Ranger. In honor of the Harvest Festival, you will be executed in three days. But, before I kill you, I will grant you three requests.
What is your first request?' The Lone Ranger responds, 'I'd like to speak to my horse.' The Chief nods and Silver is brought before the Lone Ranger, who whispers in Silver's ear, and the horse gallops away. Later that evening, Silver returns with a beautiful (not-so-aloof) blonde woman on his back. As the Indian Chief watches, the blonde enters the Lone Ranger's tent and spends the night. The next morning the Indian Chief admits he's impressed. 'You have a very fine and loyal horse, but I will still kill you in two days. What is your second request?' The Lone Ranger again asks to speak to his horse. Silver is brought to him, and once again he whispers in the horse's ear. As before, Silver takes off across the plains and disappears over the horizon. Later that evening, to the Chief's surprise, Silver again returns, this time with a stunning (and obviously attainable ) redhead, even more attractive than the blonde. She enters the Lone Ranger's tent and also spends the night.
The following morning the Indian Chief is again impressed. He tells the Lone Ranger, 'You are indeed a man of many talents, but I still kill you tomorrow. 'So what is your last request?' The Lone Ranger responds, 'I'd like to speak to my horse.... alone.' The Chief is curious, but he agrees and Silver is brought to the Lone Ranger's tent. Once they're alone, the Lone Ranger grabs Silver by both ears, looks him square in the eye and says: 'Listen very carefully you dumb ass horse: For the last time . . . BRING POSSeee

Sorry, i am very young. I am only 19 and never saw the Lone Ranger. What is POSSeee?

Reply

RE: Lone Ranger Last Request

Suddenly I feel REALLY feel old. Not just because you haven't seen the Lone Ranger, but also because you don't get the play on words here (which would work for any western joke). Are westerns too old for younger kids today?

A "posse" is a group of people that quickly get together in order to get on their horses and then ride off to do something. For example, in most westerns, a posse is usually a bunch of ranchers or farmers or town's people that the Sheriff quickly puts together. Then the posse would ride off on their horses to track down a wanted criminal or they would go rescue a girl who was kidnapped by Indians.

So, in this joke, the Lone Ranger keeps whispering to Silver (his horse) to go get a posse. He keeps telling Silver to go get help, so they can save him from the Indians. However, instead of hearing "posse" the horse keeps thinking the Lone Ranger said PUSSY -- which is why he keeps bringing back a beautiful girl.

RE: Lone Ranger Last Request

Well, if only the joke was good and if it didn't make reference to really old movies. I am 23 and I didnt understand it a bit.

Reply

RE: Lone Ranger Last Request

Actuall it wasn't so much the reference to the old movie, the joke would work with any old west figure and their horse, the problem is a key word has changed meaning over the years. Now people refer to their friends as their posse, in the old west a posse was a group assembled to try to apprehend an outlaw. Someone unfamiliar with the word might not even know it's pronounced so it would rhyme with pussy which would make the joke as boring as this explanation.

RE: Lone Ranger Last Request

hmm,, not sure, when I go back to the bar, I will asked that question, I just thought the joke was funny at the time it was told, but now you got me thinking did i spell that word POSSeee right.

RE: Another Western Joke

That one reminded me of another (really bad) old western joke that the youngsters won't get either.

Roy Rogers and Gabby Hayes were heading home from a cattle drive. Roy used some of his proceeds from the sales to by a pair of fancy embroidered cowboy boots. That night in camp Gabby awoke with a start to the sound of Roy yelling and cussing. "Why Roy, what's wrong?" asked Gabby. Roy explained, "I don't believe it Gabby. I was sound asleep and heard a strange sound. I looked up to see a mangy bobcat chewing on my new boots. As I sprung up he grabbed them and ran off down the ridge."

Gabby consoled him, "Roy, you and me has been friends a long time and it tain't safe to go wandering around the plains barefoot in the dark so I'll do you a favor." Picking up his rifle Gabby continued, "I'm gonna go get that bobcat for you!" and off down the ridge went Gabby.

About 30 minutes later Roy hears the crack of a rifle shot, then another and another. A short time later Gabby arrives back at the camp a huffing and a puffing as he lifts up the bobcat carcass by the tail, looks at Roy and asks (to the tune of Chatanooga Choo-Choo), "Pardon me Roy, is that the cat who chewed your new shoes?"

Feel free to groan, just no pitchforks and torches (as deserved as they may be)

Loving Superwoman

I guess you're wondering about what the heck got into my mind when i chose the title for this post. Well, i am deeply in love with "A" SUPERWOMAN. A woman that drives her whole family wherever they want to go, works a graveyard shift of nine hours everyday, has me as a steady boyfriend, and has a maximum sleep of 4 hours daily. Its still early too complain. She's got a lot of time to make it up to me, but that is not why i chose to write this. I chose to write this because it saddens me deeply to watch her fall asleep while spending time with her. This is not because i want her full attention, but the realization of how everything tires her. She has explained to me a couple of times how she really appreciates the thought of me around her life. After 2 years of being alone, I came into her life. She has gotten used to the thought of keeping herself busy with family and friends, which i do not mind. but how health is failing her at times truly bothers me. I still remember the first time she made me laugh. She once said, "ask for anything just not my time, because you know that's one thing I can't give you." (Have you giving this any thought about true meaning in your life that some women have to work a lot, while men just want to complain)-just a reminder these stories come from real people.

RE: Loving Superwoman

I hope chaser was referring to a real hard working woman. I know many real hard working women that work an exhaustive 10-12 hrs a day schedule at the restaurant washing dishes and cleaning tables and still have time for their kids and husbands. The hosts' job is nothing compared to "real hard working" jobs out there that only pay enough to survive each day. I understand the hosts had to gave up morals and family principles to work here, but there are others out there that really need our consideration for their hard work, respect and love for their family.

RE: Loving Superwoman

Women are the backbone of society. They are the mothers of life itself.

As men we have two purposes in nature, to breed and to protect. All else falls to the woman. Argue this, as I am sure you will, but it is a fact in nature and life. If you wish to include provisioning as a male duty, it would be an elective or perhaps cataloged as protection.

This is not to say there are many fine men who understand and far exceed the requisites of natures laws, but it remains the woman who is the center, both in the family and society, of life itself.

Then again, there are women who elect to reject the elevated position and, for whatever reason, decide to become male-like in their approach.

And life goes on........

Reply

RE: Loving Superwoman

Yes life goes on and don’t forget Men are also the backbone of society. They are the fathers of life and sometimes some fathers have to be the mothers of life also, as do some women become fathers in some cases and some sense. Is there a more challenging transition for a man than to become a new single dad with children at home more than a new single mom with children at home? If there is, I can't imagine it. Whether you lose your spouse and the mother of your kids or vise-versa to death or because of a divorce and/or abandonment, adjusting to the new reality of things is a major and life changing task. Most newly single dads I know struggle to know where to start, so to breed and to protect I will not argue this statement, since we put our self into this position, but a lot of men still have to be the center, both in family and society of life itself as a woman does. Now to respond on the original post I posted, this story was about a woman I know that told me how her love life with a boyfriend (take note; the boyfriend was not me, but a close friend of mine) and she was working several hours, spending time with her family and friends was so much in her life at this point that she just couldn’t give him what he was asking for. You see she was a single mom with children (SUPERWOMAN-comes into my mind now-think) Not to say anything bad about her boyfriend except of some of the things he complain a lot about when they went out on dates. She would admit he did asked a lot for more attention to him in which some men that is in love or women would like to have and should have she would say. She was very thankful of him for his concerned about her health. (again; SUPERWOMAN, I am saying in for showing respect about others concerns and the meaning of true love). If this story is sort of like your life as a woman that has to work a lot to provide, (no matter what type of work you do, able to do, or only thing out there that is only available to do) then you’re a SUPERWOMAN in my opinion, and men, well I can speak for myself if you can’t admit it, we or I don’t need to complain so much if we don’t know what is really going through that person mind at that time of their life, yes we can make comments, take things out from text and give our opinion and my opinion, comment and post is “A” SUPERWOMAN. Again I guess you’re wondering about what the heck got into my mind when I chose the title, Well, I am deeply in love with “A” SUPERWOMAN. Again this story comes from real people, not to say it was about you or me-I just hope someday I can meet that SUPERWOMAN out there or better yet I hope we (men) all can.

RE: Loving Superwoman

Chaser, your words are acknowledged and well received.

My exception comment was meant to address those males who do rise to the occasion as nurturing caregivers when circumstances dictate the necessity.

And I would not argue the contention most cultures, as in nature where the male wears the brightest colors and are superior physically, have placed the focus on the male.

My point was; There are "Superwomen" all around. We pass them everyday. They just aren't recognized as such, as the need for recognition is secondary to instinct. Be well..

The Test ...

A well to do viewer had been romancing 3 different hosts. He had visited each and had a great attraction to each one but couldn't decide between then. Finally he decided to have a test, he would give each of the ladies $5,000 and see what they did with it.

The first host took the money and spent it on beauty salons, nice new clothing and lingerie telling the fellow that she wished to be as beautiful for him as possible.

The second host took the money and bought things for him with it. She told him that spending money on him made her happy.

The third host invested it wisely and quickly turned a tidy profit. She told him that she was investing in their future together.

Now he had the answers from his test. Which host did he ask to marry him?

Unachievable Love

It was when i was 18 years old. I had this teacher at my school and before i realized i started to fancy her. It was the best thing ever- spending time with her during my short term school tenure. Then before you know it got more advanced i began to LOVE her. I'd always think of reasons to go and meet her and I'd sit outside near the lobby with her during class time breaks and just stare at her while she talked. I mean it was quite obvious i liked her but she obviously thought of me as a student- she was 48.. The next day I had a friend told me that she was actually talking to him about me and that she thinks I'm very funny and cute. It was the end of that school year and I left and went overseas. When I returned I heard she had retired and left the school and heard she is now in Romania and married an ex student from our school. That hurts because it could had just been me if I had more time I might had won her over but I guess I was too slow. Now I'm 48 years old and someone gave me her email but just don't know what to say because she's too far away and gotten to be 78 years old. Recently, I think about her nearly ever day on my bed just staring at her photo from back at school and wonder how it could had been. Now me being 48 and teaching at a school, I look at the 18-19 and 20 year old girls and just smile and think to myself what a fool I was for letting her get away. ( OK, that's it for now, might continue later, I have to go Easter Egg hunting now with the grand kids)-Happy Easter and thanks for the great one above)

a helping hand

A man is in bed with his wife when there is a rat-a-tat-tat on the door.
He rolls over and looks at his clock, and it's half past three in the morning. "I'm not getting out of bed at this time," he thinks, and rolls over. Then, a louder knock follows.
"Aren't you going to answer that? It'll wake the kids!" says his wife. So he drags himself out of bed and goes downstairs. He opens the door and there is a man standing at the door. It didn't take the homeowner long to realize the man was drunk.
"Hi there," slurs the stranger. "Can you give me a push??" "No, get lost. It's half past three. I was in bed," says the man and slams the door. He goes back up to bed and tells his wife what happened and she says, "Dave, that wasn't very nice of you. Remember that night we broke down in the pouring rain on the way to pick the kids up from the baby sitter and you had to knock on that man's house to get us started again? What would have happened if he'd told us to get lost??"
"But the guy was drunk," says the husband.
"It doesn't matter," says the wife. "He needs our help and it would be the right thing to help him." So the husband gets out of bed again, gets dressed and goes downstairs. He opens the door, and not being able to see the stranger anywhere he shouts, "Hey, do you still want a push??" And he hears a voice cry out, "Yeah, please."
So, still being unable to see the stranger he shouts, "Where are you?"
And the stranger replies, "I'm over here, on your swing." :--)

might as well go fishing

A young guy from Texas moves to California and goes to a big "everything under one roof" department store looking for a job. The manager says, "Do you have any sales experience?" The kid says, "Yeah, I was a salesman back home in Texas." Well, the boss liked the kid so he gave him the job. "You start tomorrow. I'll come down thanksafter we close and see how you did."
His first day on the job was rough but he got through it. After the store was locked up, the boss came down. "How many sales did you make today?" The kid says, "One." The boss says, "Just one? Our sales people average 20 or 30 sales a day. How much was the sale for?" The kid says, "$101,237.64." The boss says, "$101,237.64? What the hell did you sell?"
Kid says, "First I sold him a small fish hook. Then I sold him a medium fish hook. Then I sold him a larger fish hook. Then I sold him a new fishing rod. Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down at the coast, so I told him he was gonna need a boat, so we went down to the boat department and I sold him that twin engine Chris Craft. Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4X4 Blazer."
The boss said, "A guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a boat and truck?" Kid says, "No, he came in here to buy a box of tampons for his wife and I said, 'Well, your weekend's shot, you might as well go fishing.'" :--)

Contest Suggestions

I would propose two changes to the contest rules for future contests in the current prize format:

1. A member/host should not be able to win more than one prize in a day. He/she should get the highest prize and allow 10 members and 10 hosts to win each day. But a member/host should be able to win on more than one day, just not two prizes on same day.

2. A member should not be able to use his credit until after the contest is over. Once someone wins $1,500, for example, he has too much of an advantage the next day. Further, since many of the top members are playing with just one host, the host also gets an unfair advantage. Delaying the use of the member's prize would make things more fair.

totally agree on point number 1.i noticed that some hosts are winning on the same day say # 3 and # 8 for the day.not right as far as i'm concerned but what do i know.............

RE: Contest Suggestions

A very reasonable , and fair, suggestion. It would make sense to allow only one prize per day per participant. Also , the idea of not permitting winnings to be parlayed is fair as well, as the practice essentially becomes one in which CC becomes a sponsor.
