Evolution of profiles
Lately I noticed how pictures on profiles can evolve from ordinary clothed 'portraits', through nude art pics to end up in real gynecological studies in time the host is attending on CC. It could be sociologically interesting to study if this leads to 'working girls' in reality? Any comments?

I wouldn't read too much into it. Marketing strategy, perhaps a business school study by horny male MBA students. Not sure there is much of sociological value in wishful thinking.

I appreciated your extensive answer, MsWaltrude. It confirms somehow what I noticed. It also popped in my mind about 'working girls' doing the reverse turn: namely to a more virtual, and therefor more safe environment?

I had not noticed but you are probably right. Of course my initial thought is that is how everything goes. In order to attract attention you need to stretch the limits. Once upon a time showing an ankle was considered "hot stuff." Once Playboy Magazine with bare breasts and a curve of ass was considered the apex of sexual imagery. Next came Penthouse and then eventually what people where I live called "WOB (wide open beaver). I would think this evolution of marketing has a limit though....and perhaps it is the OB/GYN shot that you so amusingly and eloquently put. :)

nope most wont turn into hookers. quite the opposite, they lose interest in "experimenting" for reals with their actual bfs. its pretty much like the Girls hbo serie that I like to watch, "stretching the limits" is just a marketing strategy to get attention. many of the girls are so much more then their juicy bits but you wont know that until they get you in aint it :)

By "working girls", I assume you mean the euphemistic term for prostitute? If so, I doubt it. Showing one's jewels on a cam site, and selling those jewels on the open market to any and all buyers are two totally different things, which in most cases are unrelated. I think it represents merely the evolution changing values and the breakdown of reticence or feelings of shyness.

It is clear what you meant in your original post, Fil, and it reflects a notion that is offensive to many here; namely, that camming is somehow a gateway drug to prostitution. Reality is more complex.

You may want to change your wording. I think what you want to say is "I am very bored." If you say, "Me boring" or "I am boring" you are saying that you yourself are not someone others would be interested in. By saying "I am very bored," you are saying that you want something to do, or someone to chat with. My guess is that you are really wanting to say this, rather than the other. ;)

I always assumed if you are bored it is your own dam fault....:). Lots of things to do in life. A member may have a good reason for giving a lower rating but if hosts continually block members who give a lower rating then the rating system is rendered useless as a false rating will carry forward. Ok, I agree there are some members who abuse the rating system too. its a no win situation.

Members can block a host as well... This is how I personally viewed a low rating, generally if I was conflicted I would skip the rating.

it must be anonymous otherwise viewers will fell embarrassed. Coz if rate system is open, I predict that viewers will get a lot of messages like - why did you rate me 4 but not 5? and etc. Not sure that somebody would like to explain it. Of course, all models would like ot know how viewers rate us but from a position of CC it is bad for business.

I always return to the host and tell her about my rating to her, it is either 4 or 5 according to my satisfaction. I was kicked out in 3 rooms till now, all received 4 stars from me.

why would they ban you for 4 stars? you are entitled to an oppinion and as long as your rating wasn't unfair ( for example rating her 1 because she wouldn't do smth she never agreed to) it's your right to rate the girls.
