Define your real intentions, are you trying to move past the breakup, or are you hoping to get back with your ex partner? You won't move on until you've accepted that the relationship is over. Don't embarrass yourself or put yourself in a situation where you'll look back and feel humiliated. Learn to trust again, whenever you get involved in a relationship, you know there's a risk. Don't let a bad experience keep you from living your life to the fullest. You can go through life suspicious, or loving and laughing.

There is not much you can DO to heal a broken heart. In my experience, it just takes time. As much as it hurts right now, it does get better eventually.

When we love, if we we love, we give something of ourselves to that person. That is not to say you necessarily diminish your love, rather that you swap out part of your heart with someone or something else. What is true is that every person we meet, interact with and care about changes us in one way or another. How deep that change goes is proportional to how important those people are to you. The more important they are the deeper the hole is when they are gone. Of course, sometimes we don't really how deep the hole is until they are gone, but then again, nobody is perfect , are they?
How to heal the hole is simpler than most people realise. It is not about stuffing an odd shaped piece of someone else to fill the gap rather it is about your growing a new piece of yourself to fill the gap. As such you need to look at things with a clear perspective, don't dwell only on the bad, dwell on the good in your life as well. My advice is don't go off the rails. Heavy drinking or promiscuous behaviour is unlikely to improve your mood or feelings of self worth. Times change, and maybe better times are on the horizon.
You'll meet someone else with whom you'll have happy times and a good relationship.
On the other hand, maybe you are being hasty. If you think you can still salvage your broken relationship and it's worth saving, then maybe you should try. Although, as someone wrote, don't humiliate yourself, there's no point in letting false pride deter you either. If the other party is making a big effort to repair the damage to your relationship and fix what is wrong, then maybe you could meet them half way.

I can take that as a compliment pretty lady or I could take it as a negative comment in an adjective way (unenthusiastic, unhelpful, unconstructive, downbeat, discouraging or disapproving) these simple instructions. I still look visit old profiles. Even after creating a new profile (because I forgot the old one's password) I added all the old profiles to my favs just to have them close though I know they'll never get a more recent date next to their name. I also find the names around here a minor amusement. For a host it is a first introduction...a first banner of advertisement really. For members it may be indicative of what they are into....such as names with sub or dom in it. For me...it is something i can remember easily and has not already been taken. Another question I have is...how many of us have multiple screen names? My guess is many.

First name, last initial and the numbers rhyme with it. Was just Jimb33 but everyone always asked if it was my age so I added another 3 lol.

mmm, mine I invented it in ancient Greek: filios means friend of/admirer of, and ero refers to Erotics. So in total it should mean admirer of erotica. Almost the same as Porndisciple ;-) , but in a softer way.

After being naive on another site and sending money to a host and getting absolutely no response from her I decided it would not happen again and chose this name for this site.
I do have many other names though. Primarily because of the very first competition where you could vote for the host per visit per day per name.

I was looking at the old discussion forums the other day. I noticed they were a riotous, lively place for gossip and information exchange.
I look at the forums today and they are hardly used, why is that? Is it because real nicks of posters are published or...?

That could be. But I've also noticed that chathost personal forums are not used as much as they used to be either, or so it seems to me. As for using your own member name, you could just as easily make up another one if it really mattered to you.

Then again, because members and chathosts alike could hide behind nicknames, all you had to do was invent another nickname and you could have an argument with yourself. So you can't be sure that more people participated in the "good old days" than do now.
My sense is participation was falling off well before CC required actual usernames be attached to posts.
