What is your opinion of the new software? I think it is much better quality of picture and an advancement from the old but is it worth the trade off of losing hosts? some of my host friends have expressed there concerns about the higher traffic needed for it and costs of internet incurred, they feel they can not continue without putting there prices up or leave the site completely :( (it seems even without members in video they waste traffic)

It is a sweet idea and it is the thought that really shows merit. I have received several gifts over the years and not once has it ever been the value of something other than it was something sent for ME! And it was always a lovely lovely surprise. 2) Allow customers to create a "public profile" that chathosts can look at if they want (incuding pictures and text). Most won't look, but some might on a slow night and seek me out if they match what I am looking for. Should only be viewable by chathosts, not other members.
3) Sort by price in search lists (I know - unlikely :) )
4) Find a way to get Chinese and Indian chathosts involved :) I suspect the chinese govt forbids CC because there are no Chinese chathosts.. or perhaps you just need to set up some foreign languae advertising to attract them.

I think his point is that if a host wants to work for $0.10 per minute it should be up to her. However, this neglects the financial needs of CamContacts. I'm sure their numbers-crunchers have determined what THEY need as their cut from each viewing.

First of all, I can afford to tip and I have done so up to $100 at other places; but, I think it's a bad idea for friendly CC community. I can imagine trying to see a host while competing with another member who tipped her $5 after his last visit and because of that tip, she goes to 121 with him instead of me. I have enough trouble seeing my favorites and have given up on some because of inability to see them on a regular basis. We do not need another variable here.
I would prefer a system where you could schedule a favorite host at a premium cost. If she does not meet the schedule, she gets fined or is obligated to perform for free. If member does not meet schedule, it costs him a certain amount.

I think cc was created by it's first members who were dissatisfied with other sites. I don't think they meant it to be run as an on-going commune-style affair. Hell, in those first months ALL the hosts fit on one page, and the staff posted frequently, by name, in the forums. They've grown beyond being quite so homey

All in all, though they don't strictly abide by their founding statement they have a GREAT site.

I would like to see a different format in video. There is no need for the text box to be many times bigger than the video, also why not center the video or better yet put the text box right next to and the same size as the video. Another suggestion, have the emoticons always visible.

In my experience most say, "whenever I can" or something equally useless. Others say "in the morning" but then "private" under country so you have no idea what time zone. I don't know the logistics of how it would work other than to impress upon the hosts that is is to their advantage to let customers know when they can be reached. Imagine logging on and having your screen light up with members there waiting for you. No more time wasted hoping someone will stumble upon the fact host is on-line.

One thing common to many posts here is an inability of the poster to conceive that other members may want something different to him from this site. Stripping was NEVER allowed there, the rules were simply never enforced. Now that CC has expanded their services to other formats the rules must be enforced to accomodate laws in the countries the service is offered.

Probably because it just demonstrates that there are enough twisted people in this world who think that that it is either funny or something other than a complete fantasy.
Fortunately, you will find the majority of the hosts here have more up top than just fluff and hairspray. However, what is clearly amusing is the idea the only hosts here would see such an offer and not some local hustler who would quite easily take advantage of a dumb tourist who not only gives his hotel details but admits he is gullible enough to believe that women will sleep with him for a bottle of champagne.
Would that it were just an urban myth about tourists being seduced by pretty women, being drugged and waking up with no belongs, no money and no passport.
Personally given the tone of the post it sounds like just so much bull it makes me want to sneeze. Of course I have known to be wrong though, it is rumoured ;)

the interior decorations..... :)
I have tried the new flash video tonight and i was happily working it out when i noticed a green ''light'' by the side of the cam.Clicking on it it read ''the interior decrations for your room seems to be oki''.Oups, i thought, i am being spied by an interior designer...So, i started moving the furniture around to see if i get a different reaction.Minutes had past and no reaction from the ''interior designer'' .And just when i was started to think nothing wld make a difference to that green light i got a member in video.And while i was in the middle of the session with my legs in the air THE LIGHT CHANGED.And this time it told me that i should think about rearanging the decorations in my room.I am sitting here now and wonder.....what have upset the ''interior designer'?the presence of my long legs dangling in front of the camera??

She's a very sweet and gracious hostess. What do you have against her? I don't know her well, but I am under the impression that she is one of the people who has worked hardest on this site (founded by its members for its members). If you've ever had fun here, you have her and some others to thank, I believe. And her winniing is no surprise at all to me.

But I think that's a GOOD thing. If I knew them all, I would be tempted to have myself committed for spending even more time here than I already do.
I applaud all the winners and I LOVE the decorations that so many of them put up. I think there should be an entire gallery of the Honorable Mentions, as well. I'm sure many great rooms didn't make the winner's list.
The only suggestion I might make to satisfy those who feel that annual drop-in hosts or those who only use cc as a base for password-protected private shows is to require all contestants in the main event to have active, freely available rooms for maybe 6 hours each month for the 3 months prior to any contest.
To satisfy new or ocassional hosts I would suggest a Casual Perfomer contest category with smaller prizes that those who don't qualify otherwise.
