I am also from the US and due to my expertise in networks I had worked and lived in a few eastern european countries in the past 5 years. Met several hosts from cc and other sites in real life and had the greatest time of my life to the exhuastion point. Some members do abuse their time with you and usually they will stay with you a very short time. They ask you to do things that do not fit you and maybe do not fit even the category that you are in. Then they will rate you very low. Since I do not know you, all I can say is to do what you want to do, but tell them up front what you will or will not do and most members will respect your wishes and not rate you low. They will rate you low if you lead them on with false promises.

This question appears again and again. The answer is no, not all hosts are liars. There are many of them who are honest enough and dont think that all members are idiots and losers. But try to understand that vice versa, any member could be a liar or any kind of rascal and could hurt a host as well. Nothing strange that a host needs to hush up some private information to prevent any painful outcome. If you are expecting for true relationship it will take a time to get proofs that you deserve it. If you think you are a really nice guy, just move on and try some other hosts. Maybe you will find Her :)

I have to disagree with your statement that most memebrs are here to find a friend and possibly a soul mate. Hello! After reading ur post i have a few questions to ask you. First, why do u think that girl should open her soul and tell anything abt her private life right after u've met? In real life not many people do that, coz it takes some time to know a person better and decide if he/she deserves any details abt private life, so why should she? And second:dont u think that different schools, universities, etc in different countries have different educational programms? In Russia for example first two years in university we dont study anything connnected with our future profession, just subjects such as languages, math, physics, chemistry, phylosophy, etc. Our Ministry of education supposes that specialist should be good educated not only in his area. Just imagine a scientist who doesnt know anything about such scientific methods as analysis, syntheses, etc, which all r becoming from phylosophy. So is nothing strange if 2d year student has no idea about some parts of future profession, if u would have asked me about informational defence which i study when i was 2d year student i couldnt say u anything about that. coz we had only general subjects as the teority of information for example....Thas why dont try to see lies where is nothing but just defined reasons and dont think all hosts r liers.

They started dry-runs in early Summer of 2000. Before they had a major system crash you could actually dig back in the original pages to the earliest forums from that time.

nope wasnt here from day one..joined just a little bit after..but anyone that was here on the 5th bday party will tell u it was the 15th november and there was also a banner on the home page stating "15 TODAY" along with a ccmail that i and every other host got leading up to the 5th bday promoting the 5th bday party which also had the words "on the 15th november we will b 5yrs old" send cc a mail if u want confirmation

As someone else said you could originally go right back to the beginning but now it's only till 1st Jan 2006 :(
The only thing is you lose the left handside banner.

i think the confusion is because hosts have been sent mail to say 17th is b/party night... as 15th is a thursday better to have a b/day party on a saturday 17th

Nice to hear a host is leaving with good prospects I hope. Being a host here is ok for a bit but its for a limited time before hosts get 'burnt out'. good luck triksy
