For a host who has a long and extensive "back catalogue" of pics go and see Flowerpower. Her archive dates back to 2003. In video you definitely get what you see in the pics, plus a bit more, and she is responsive to viewers requests, although she does not use toys. All in all one of the top hosts here.

Very good points, "just an opinion" I don't know if there is some limit to the size of the archive. Since you mentioned it, i will complain about something I don't like. Why do hosts posts 3-4-5 pics that are all the same? I understand there is only a limited number of things a host can do in a photo, but why post 30 pics that are really only 3 or 4 different shots?

I don't think hosts have to only leave up pics that show what they do now. We understand that people change over time. I would feel cheated if she's gained 20kg since her last photo...or had dark hair (my fav) in the photo and now is blonde... but hosts are allowed to change their look. Usually the trend is for the better. Maybe when she started she didn't know how to light for photography... didn't know how to do closeups.... didn't have interesting hair, makeup, nails or whatever. But now she does. But watching the evolution can be interesting (at least to me)

i also like the old ones, even if just one or two when they first started, so i can see how they have matured. i hate seeing archives that havent been updated in months !

Did you ever search on a name and see all the old hosts who appear and look at some of those pics...wow...there were some really really hot hosts in the past....most..it seems...worked for a little while and left....you pigs scared them away. I wish some of them would come back....I wish my mind would come back...but then again...wait..doorbell.

I wish CC would finally make it possible for a host to delete the pics in her archive that she did not like, instead of only allowing the host to hide them. How many software revisions have they made to the chathost console in the past 5 years + that they have been in business and they still haven't done that? Why not? Doesn't seem like it would be awfully complicated thing for an IT tech or programmer to come up with. It would be great for those hosts that do take 20-30 pics every day to save the 5 or 10 pics that really came out great and get rid of the rest...... and it would be great for those hosts that have been here for years that didn't want to have insanely huge archives and only wanted to keep the best of the best.

Furthermore, along the lines of hosts gone by..... why does CC insist on keeping profiles and archives of hosts that have not been online for years instead of getting rid of them, say after 6 months of inactivity? They do it for members that are not active for an extended period of time.... why not hosts and their profiles as well? Does it really benefit me or any other member to do a search and come up with a hundred or more host profiles that haven't been active since 2001 or 2002? They're gone and they obviously aren't coming back. We're never going to get the chance to see them again and CC is never going to earn anything from video sessions with them anymore, so why slow down the system with poor search results and pay more and more for additional server space that they wouldn't need if they did a little housekeeping and cleaned out the dead profiles? I just don't get it.

The copyright to the hosts photos belongs to cc not the hosts. That is why the host cannot delete them.

I have known hosts who have taken a "sabbatical" of over a year and then come back on line. I would say 6 months of inactivity is too short. However after say 1 year it would be helpful if CC logged a hosts account as "inactive" so that the host had to reactivate it by emailng CC.
It is easy to eliminate hosts that have not been on line for a while from any search. Just complete the "Last on line from" field.

I do not believe that CC does own the copyrights for host photos. I believe they belong to the host. However, just for the sake of argument, even if the copyrights did belong to CC, why would CC have an issue with hosts deleting photos in their archives? Especially photos that violated site rules for appropriate photos? And yet give hosts the ability to hide them? Allowing hosts to delete photos benefits CC as well as the hostsand members, and in no way that I can see, does the site any harm.

Now for the point you made about hosts taking a "sabbatical" for a year. I still don't believe that CC should be responsible for a host losing her profile after 6 months of inactivity. If CC made it their policy to do that and hosts were informed of that policy, then the responsibility would lie on the shoulders of the hosts to log in at least once every 6 months to keep their profiles active if they were planning to return. Most free email programs, like MSN and Yahoo, (which almost every host here uses for email and messenger ID's) requires users to log in at least once every 30 days to keep their accounts from being closed. So a host that was on sabbatical would have to go online once a month anyway if she wanted to keep those accounts open. And even if she didn't, any host that can afford to take a year off of work can surely afford to spend the little money it costs to go to an internet cafe for a few minutes twice a year and log into CC to keep their profiles active. No, I do believe 6 months is long enough for CC to keep them without any activity.

And finally about filling in the last online portion in the search. I have done that on numerous occassions and still gotten search results going all the way back to 2001 and even many are listed as "Never". I believe it has to do with the last online bug that exists in CC's software.... which I have pointed out to them before several times in forum posts and in emails to their help department as well in the past 6 months, but they have yet to fix it. On many hosts profiles the last online dates are incorrect. The last online date for each host is posted in 3 places... twice on their profiles ( one under their profile pic and the other to the right of it in the details list) then one more time next to the hosts pic in member's favorite pages. Most times the 2 shown on the hosts profile are different sometimes both are completely wrong. The only one that seems to be accurate is the one displayed on the members favorites page. Only problem with that is that it seems the search results work off one of the dates on the hosts profile page, resulting in poor search results when a member enters a date in the last online portion. I wish they would fix the problem.

Possibly the issue with deleting them is many hosts work from studios. Imagine the possiblity for host "A" who is mad at host "B" to gain access to Host A's login while she steps away to use the facilitys and trashing her archive. Host A remains blissfully unaware her archive is empty and wonders why she's getting so few viewers.

Now it would most likely be possible to restore the missing pics from a backup, but with the cost of storage being so much less then the cost of wages (for the person restoring the files, the time spent responding to the help calls etc.) I'd bet their bean counters pointed out it's simply cheaper to store them indefinately.

Ok so perhaps some girls in studios could use it to cause problems for other hosts in their studio. However is that a reason to not allow hosts more control over their photo management and give them the ability to delete unwanted or excessive photos rather than hide them? I think not. Studios are responsible for managing their employees just like in any other business and if one of their employees steps out of line, especially in the way you gave as an example, then it would be their responsibility to fire the host. And believe me that they would be quick to do it to rather than have CC get involved and take action against the offending host and banning her from the site, in which the studio could possibly lose one of their screennames and higher profits. Especially since, as far as I know, some countries are still not allowed to create new screennames at CC.

Hosts understand that this is a job and with every job there are rules that must be followed and acceptable behavior in the workplace. Many of these girls are young (perhaps for some hosting is their first job) but they have bills to pay like everyone else and if they don't understand or learn quickly that they cannot just do or behave however they feel like because they are in a bad mood and how to deal with conflicts or misunderstandings with other employees, then they will never hold a job or succeed in any career field they choose. And they will soon find themselves in the poorhouse. That is the cold harsh reality... everybody has bills to pay and nobody is irreplacable... step out of line and there 10 more people waiting in line to take your job... so ya better toe the line. Especially since in some areas of the world it is exceedingly difficult to find a job that offers high earning potential and the ability improve the standard of living for you and your family. Only a fool of a host would risk that over some petty argument with another host, and if that is the case, who would want her here anyway?

To answer your question Psy in a simple form no the blood type has nothing to do with the Rh factor. In other words your child could have a problem depending on which Rh factor the child inherits from the parents. Blood type is a co-dominant inherited trait, I'll let you read that on your own. Therefore if you were AB- and had a child with your O+ husband and conceived a child that was AO+ or BO+ a problem could exist. By the way very correct about your blood type, rather rare although there now exist blood substitutes.

Here is the thing, the ABO type has nothing to do with the Rh factor. Although the ABO blood typing system is based on what kind of sugar molecule you have surrounding your blood to your body the Rh factor is a different entity entirely and would recognize it as a seperate antigen altogether. Therefore to your body it recognizes two completely different sets of antigens. I hope that helped you Psy. For those that are curious, O blood types have no signalling molecule on the surface of their RBCs.

Ok seems that people are still confused so let me see if I can clear this up for you "Shocked"

First and foremost, the Rh factor is simply a marker or signal (More specifically glycoprotein) on RBC (Red Blood Cells). In addition to the common way most people are aware of incompatability between the ABO blood types there is also this method. Why you ask would we even have this, simple it's our bodies method of knowing what is "self". Therefore if you put something foreign including foreign tissue (yes blood is a foreign tissue) your body will respond and attack. There are a great deal of other markers known as HLA (In other animals it's called MHC) but that's an entire other question altogether.

Ok so here's the thing you want to know. If a mother that is Rh- concieves with an Rh+ man there is a probability of having an Rh+ child. An antibody (Specifically only IgG a subtype of the superfamily of immunoglobilins AKA antibodies; can cross the placenta) from this Rh- mother will cross the placenta and realize hey this is not self, these are not my RBCs, and she will beging the necessary steps to mount an immune response. However, as a general rule, this child is not at risk of Hemolytic Anemia Disease (Erythroblastosis Fetalis). Yet, if the mother gets pregnant once again with an Rh+ male and again has a Rh+ child she already has the preformed antibodies to this Rh+ antigen and will cause severe hemolytic anemia leading to kernicterus which is basically high levels of the breakdown of RBC (bilirubin being the major constituent) which enters the brain causing massive edema of the brain leading to possible herniation if not basic brain damage. Basically the antibodies will attach to the blood causing hemolysis (aka bursting) using a long cascade of steps which you probably could care less about.

Good news is there is an easy method of preventing this. Typically, after each pregnancy (regardless if she has actually delivered the child, in other words abortions, ectopic pregnancy etc)especially if the father is Rh+ she is given a shot within 72 hours of a Rh sub 0(D) or better known as RhIG. This is safe, causing no problems and best of all there is no fear of the mother producing a proper immune response to Rh+ D antigen. Hope that helps.

Problem is that because the best apples are so high, they tend to look down their noses at all but the tallest of men:(

Maybe even the best apples could make the effort and look for the best grapes/men themselves rather than waiting around to see who is confident/brave/arrogant enough to think they have a chance of succeeding with one of the best apples. Women are equal to men and so in the 21st century surely you can approach the ones you like without waiting for them to take a chance and maybe missing out on the one you like best.
This is just a thought and not a personal criticism - and I must say I do like the apples/wine analogy
