No, Melanie Safka was as bubble gum as its gets with "New Key". You can see her recent concerts on You Tube and she got FAT and has not aged well at all. Gracie Slick who is 70 looks real bad too.

LOL love the comparison! In terms of Melanie's genre, as I recall her style was more in the "folk" realm rather than the "rock-n-roll" stream. Although, I doubt that those of us growing up in that era would have considered it as anything but a part of our musical culture of the time.

Interesting that you comment on how Melanie and Grace Slick look now. No one worries too much about how male rock stars have lost there looks and figure (which in many cases were not that great to begin with, Surely the key question is "Can Melanie and Grace still sing"

Melanie was a one hit wonder. Gracie is a rock icon. Yes looks matter to me. I don't look at dudes cuz I am not gay. Bo Derek although not a singer is still hot in her mid 50's.

I agree with you about Bo Derek. More amazing still, Raquel Welch just turned 70 and looks like a goddess. Talk about someone who has aged absolutely perfectly. If there was a woman whose genes I'd suggest saving or cloning, it would be her!

Tough question keeping it to 3. I would include Pat Benatar too, for the way she could rock out -- but turning back the clock, I'd also throw singers like Mama Cass Elliot and Ronnie Spector into the mix for the artistry of their vocals.

I have guys that come to my vid for only talk and dont ask for sex. They want to help me and its nice. I have one special member that spends $550 or $600 with me everyday. He is 53 from uK, but he is very rich and wants that I have a better life. He say his dream is to meet with me in real. Oh im a perect girlfriend then! Me and my boyfriend have sex every day at least 2 times a day. Saturdays we spend with his mates in the pubs, sundays too. Money is just labor, or time in a convenient form. So I use it to have a better life. I fly business class, which cost a lot more, because I enjoy it. I pay girls at CC, becuase I enjoy it. I pay prostitutes occasionally becuase I enjoy it. I pay for my wife's living expenses, because I enjoy being married to her. When we make love, it may be "free" but it is really part of a contract that is mutually beneficial. All of the above are reasonable ways to spend time and money.

How do I explain this? OK, you know how if you are chatting with a host in text chat and someone else takes her to open or 121, well normally you would get that red message telling you the host is in a session, right? Well, a couple of times when I have been talking (both open and 121 were available prior to me entering text chat) to a host in text and was about to enter her paid chat, I did so only to find that someone already had her in video, and no message came up telling me this. Why is this? Perhaps me and the other member clicked on the enter video button at the exact same time? What are the odds?

Yep, you are right about that. And most do use a certain site that uses the term "private" when it is really semi-private. Also, I asked CC customer service, and they agree with my earlier explanation.

That occurred to me also, so I responded with your query as well, and received an identical answer. But, they did ask me to send them the name of the host who "..violated the rule". So, I am befuddled now whether it is a rule or the option is mechanically unavailable. However, I have never experienced it while waiting in a host's free chat - that is, a host carrying on a chat in her free chat while she is in either Open or Private (121).

honest, i give 5 stars almost all the time. but maybe as another poster pointed out maybe i am too stressful. maybe in another way i would tell all the ladies that i think there might be a lot of guys who are really happy when we press that 'video' button and voila, there is the lady who we just saw in the photos. i will go back to causing stress somewhere else now instead of here.

Secondly, you ask how long until you get over it. The truth is, you never really get over it, rather you adjust to the change and become able to deal with your loss. It takes time for your new circumstances to become your normal circumstances. In my case, it was about 6 months.
Thirdly, the most important thing is to remember someone at their best. Always focus on the positives of the person who has died. Also remember that life goes on, and that friends and family around you will support you.

I'm very sorry for your loss. You have my sympathy and best wishes. But I'll tell you now, you never get over it. I lost my Mom 2 years ago and still deal with all kinds of emotions that will suddenly pop up -- from smiling and feeling good over happy memories to feeling upset or angry over unresolved issues or things that went unsaid. So I agree with the way Anonymous phrased it above. You never actually get over it, but instead you ADJUST to it. And then you move on and deal with your life and feelings in an all-new way, which is hopefully positive too. So God bless you and again my condolences.

I know in my own life how much pain there is when a parent dies. My dad died 44 years ago. I still often think of my father, and I miss his presence in my life, but I can honestly say, the pain is no longer there as it once was. At first it was unbearable, and I thought I could never again smile or know happiness in my life. But then as time went by the hurt began to lessen, I began to laugh again, and one day I realized that my grief was no longer the most prominent thing in my life.
Lena, it hurts right now, I am sure, with a hurt that seems more than you can bear, and right now it must seem that you will never again feel happy. But you will, in time. I cannot say how long it will take. A few weeks, a few months, a year, maybe two. For we all feel our grief in different ways, and heal at different pace.

My dad passed away 19 years ago and I think about him just about every day. My dad was a good man. A much better man than I am. What I try to do is live as good a life as he did and try and think what he would do in certain situations. I can honor him that way.

it's not fishy at all. I'm too relaxed to bother reporting things, and I never give 1 star (the girls are only trying to make some money, and not for me to compromise that) but the problem is genuine. Often the same pictures are used by different hosts within presumably the same studio, and often the "fake" pictures even within a single archive are quite clearly of different people. With a bit of savvy it actually becomes quite easy to recognise them for what they are.

The problem with your idea is I'd say you actually have it backwards. If I was a host and announced I was gonna give a free show... and lots of guys showed up to watch me... that's not good advertising. That's just me making no money and giving away a free show to a bunch of horny guys that were too cheap to pay. On the other hand, if I DON'T announce it and instead I give a free show on the spur of the moment... so that only a guest or two sees it and then they spread the word... that would be good advertising. Because now guys would be a lot more interested IF I'll do it again. So now they'd come around and visit me a lot more often too. So I think you have to take your idea and flip it because its actually a reverse psychology sort of thing.

The free shows were a good way to check out a host before a paid video. You could see how she looked, her personality, and her english ability before you went to video. Some other sites have host visible in free chat. Horrible experience. They are literally inundated with messages so no chat is really possible. All they do is hi baby come to video. CC has a better system but an occasional free video is great for business. It pays to advertise. And...in my experience hosts that gave free videos always snagged a video or two a few minutes after they closed their free session. Try it..if it works go for it. Announce it in advance so people can check it out.

Good point. Show is a misnomer. The free session almost always were about the host sitting,,,chatting a bit...answering questions...sometimes standing and showing the goods fully clothed. Not a show so much as a chance to meet and greet.

Funny you should post this, because I was just thinking about starting a thread entitled "Interior Design" to state that I like seeing the pictures of hosts who are at home, and seeing how they have their homes looking. Gives me ideas on what to do with my place :D

Sounds like your money is in wallet acct and the only thing you can do is work with other girls in same position. Send the documents and do as they ask. How about a sub category for softcore section?
What I mean by that is not to change the categories but add a sub category for hosts that only wish to talk in pvt. For example you have the host name/Glamour/Only Talk or host name/LittleShy/Only Talk. This option is claerly for the host to choose herself. It would not change the categories one bit from the way they are now. It would only create a sub category for those hosts who choose it and those who already have written in their profiles they do not do nude shows.

We are of the same mind , russian and eastern european girls do retain feminine qualities whilst being strong and proud , sadly if you speak to many men from europe , usa , canada , oceania , they would say that finding women with really good feminine quality is becoming harder and harder . I have visited all those countries and lived in in 4 of them for more than 1 year and I can say that there is beautiful people everywhere in this world. He who only sees beauty in a person's physique is missing the real essence of the real beauty within. I met beautiful people that most of you guys or girls wouldn't date, however they are smarter, friendlier, and successful in life. In my youth I married a beautiful girl that only gave heartaches. This is a legitimate question, not any trash talk, just a real question. Over the years I seen softcore hosts posts in here and also several I've talked to in open video say they have regular clients that come to their pvt or 121 only to chat. And how someone spends his money is entirely up to him. But as it is with regular customers in any business, you get to know each other and what each other likes to some degree. And there is a comfort level that you don't have with new viewers. So my question is, do you , after a visit or 2 or 3 by a particular viewer put him into a "chat" category as opposed to one who likes to see a nude show? And I know there is chat and show, but if you get a viewer who doe snot ask for a show in his first 2 visits do you assume that he is chat only forever?

For me I do not categorize anyone and I no longer assume what they want. I let them lead the way. I had a visitor before that would stay and chat for a couple of hours at least 3 times a week. My other visitors were all asking for more so I assumed that he also wanted it to go there. He always liked for me to model clothes too. One day I decided to change in front of him and I guess it offended him because he never came back :(

For me, video quality is definitely important. I shy away from hosts whose video quality in their pictures is cloudy, or fuzzy, or poorly lit. Often times, lighting is the culprit to poor video quality. Think of those those photo studios that blind you almost but the picture quality is phenomenal.
Sound, for me, is also nice, but often I need to turn off the sound because of others in the house, so I can't take advantage of it. While typing is a pain in the bazooter, it is preferable over sound only communication for several reasons... often the sound quality is poor, distorted by peripheral noises or "static"; often the host's accent is not easily decipherable, especially if there is peripheral noise; also, because of the host moving away from the mic, so that sound is not picked up. And of course, the above mentioned concern: others in the house.

WELL SAID. While you can get a great webcam for around $100.00 or less, it doesn't perform well with out LIGHT. Cameras NEED light. And while you don't need to shine it in your eyes so much so that it is uncomfortable it does have to shine on you from the FRONT. I have noticed some girls think they look fine sitting close to the cam because they are partially being lit by their computer screens. But when they get up to dance or whatever the computer light is no longer a factor and they look dark and the quality suffers. I can't believe that some of the hosts don't seem to care how their cams look. To me it should be like combing your hair or putting on lipstick......take a little time to make it right. Its easy once you get used to it. Some of the girls here do it perfectly. Ask them.

RomanHoliday had the best point of all. No matter what cam you're using make sure you have bright lighting since that alone will drastically improve image quality, even if you're using an old cam. Even when I check pic galleries, I can't believe how many girls take dark pictures. And that hurts business because as guys are shopping around, they can't see how pretty some ladies are.
The more interesting change is the switch to HD cams. The other day I watched an HD disc of a Johnny Depp PIRATE movie. The quality was great, but everyone also looked "off" or even sick at times because the picture was so clear you could actually see the makeup lines on the actors faces. So as more girls switch to HD cams, they'll have to start changing things about themselves too when performing, to compensate for a crystal clear HD image.

Yes, and the asian hosts seem to suffer from poor lighting conditions most of all. You would think the studio bosses could be more helpful but, all too often, the profile pics and cam quality in vid is murky and indistinct or the host is bleached out from a strong light facing them.
Not so much full frontal lighting, if it's too harsh, but in addition back and side lighting can work wonders in enhancing the cam image we see.

Camera/video quality is definitely important to me. As others have pointed out lighting can make a big difference. I also like sound. Not because i want to hear the host moan, espicially if this is fake, but just hearing the background noises, the sounds of her typing and moving make it feel more interactive. It really annoys me if the hosts profile says she has sound but it isn't working. If it is not working take it of your profile.

Right! It happen to me quite often at studiogirls that have icon for sound, so i needed to ask for it and sometimes it took minutes until the host found the right plug. Annoying.

I can handle having to wait a bit for sound. It is when they say "it's not working" that I get fed up.
