Censorship

On Feb 20th a member posting under the name "americandad," posted a message titled, "i would like to know what to do to create a studio." A thread of more than a dozen messages ensued, including one by "cynical," who made some observations about the relative beauty, charm, intelligence, etc. of the hosts here vs. American women. A lively and civil discussion followed. Responses came from no less than five people, hosts and guests alike.

I am now taken aback that some functionary at CC has apparently seen fit to delete "cynical's" message and all those who responded either directly or indirectly. No one took offense, nor, if I may speak for him, did "cynical" intend any personal offense to anyone. Personally I disagreed with his observation, but I defend his right to express it, indeed welcome it, and find no justification for this arbitrary censorship. This decision gives lie to CC's published view about the Forum and suggests they have stooped to the role of petty thought police.

Wrong...

As a matter of fact, I took great offense at that posting.
As a matter of fact, I felt it grossly violated CC's behaviour policy.
As a matter of fact, I asked them to remove that message for both those reasons and they kindly did so.

And now, I think you owe the fine folks who run this splendid site a very earnest apology.

Reply

Au Contraire

Dear Easily Offended,

You are either a subtle ironist or dead earnest in your claim to being offended. Assuming the latter, I must first say, I believe you are preaching to the choir in my case because, if you read my responses to "cynical's" post, you may recall that I disagreed with his claims and took issue with him nearly point by point. His gratuitous assertions were so general and, by his own admission, designed in his words, "to stir the pot,” (a la Rush Limbaugh), not an attempt to demonstrate the truth of his claims.

My response was to make a reasoned argument in the General Forum to demonstrate that his claims were false. You---"Easily Offended"---took offense, but instead of making your own argument, you managed to persuade CC to censor the reasoned exchanges among other contributing members because your moral sensibilities were offended. And my opinion is that CC erred in allowing your sentiments alone to trump the right of others of us who would like to engage in reasoned arguments. That said, I believe it is you who owe the Forum members an apology for presuming to be a self-appointed arbiter of what can and not be posted here. And shame on CC for acquiescing to your request.

Reply

RE: Au Contraire

Excuse me, but when has "stirring the pot" ever resulted in an healthy exchange of reasoned ideas, culminating in the "pot stirrer" singing Kumbaya with his "logical" shaming critics after being forced to admit just how very, very wrong he really was?
Point out just ONE example of that ever having happened here. Do that and I promise to feel really, really bad for asking for the removal of the words of a person who admitted only having posted those very words to offend others in the first place.
Do that and I'll gladly bow low and give you the most heart-feltist, super-sincerliest apology off all time.

Now kindly acknowledge my intellectual might and beg me to not thrash your flimsy reasoning any further.

Cordially,

Easily Offended

Pot Stirrers & Censorship

Easily Offended,

I agree, “pot stirrers” rarely throw down the gauntlet with view to engaging in a reasoned argument with truth being the ultimate goal. It is rather a contest, a spectator sport of sorts. A controversial subject or idea is thrown out, around which two sides engage in an exercise of disputation, nominally to debate a political event or social policy. (An extreme example would be media clowns like Limbaugh & O’Reilly, who specialize in this; their guests are invariably straw men). I think most people understand this and can elect to respond or to ignore such people. Some would argue that anyone who responds is a chump for taking the bait, that ludicrous assertions should not even be dignified with a response and that any effort to refute a claim with a reasoned argument is futile and a waste of time and energy. However, it does not mean that anyone who chooses to respond is, by your insulting assessment, a “ ‘logical’ shaming [sic] critic” whose underlying aim is to “force” the offending party to “admit just how very, very wrong he really was.”

I would also add that the decision to respond depends on what claim is being made. For example, I would not dignify a Holocaust denier with a response any more than I would respond to a member of the Flat Earth Society. “Cynical’s” comments were intended to provoke others to respond (and in my opinion, not personally offend any individual member). Most people disagreed with his claims, which were insupportable generalizations, but the issues he raised about the roles of men and women throughout history and how these roles have changed are legitimate subjects for debate and hardly extreme. He also made claims about the comparative beauty, charm and intelligence of CC’s hosts vs. American women. His remarks brought comments about the nature of the work that hosts do and to what extent economic necessity featured in their decision to take such employment.

As regards the content of “cynical’s” now expunged comments, nearly every respondent took issue with his assertions and expressed their opinions and objections openly. You on the other hand decided that “cynical’s” trite polemic should not have been posted in the first place (even though CC thought otherwise). You have every right not to dignify “cynical’s” comments with a reply and you have every right to voice your complaint to CC. But you accomplished your aim by inflating the gravity and intention of his post and distorting his admission of liking to “stir the pot” on occasion, as a basis for painting the man as “a person who admitted only having posted those very words to offend others in the first place.” Oh really? Where did he make this frank “admission” of his desire to “offend others?” To “stir the pot” is no doubt designed to rile others, but your claim that he “…use[d] this forum for the "sole" [my quotes], expressed objective of upsetting/offending many others” is not a conclusion one can fairly draw from his words, for it assumes you have some direct knowledge of his intention(s) (and the "underlying aims" of his critics) here in the Forum, that he has but one and that it is malevolent. That may be your take on it, but I think you are reading something into his position (and his "sham critics") that you cannot demonstrate is there.

I’m sure you were not alone in taking offense to “cynical’s” comments. I simply feel your thoughts and objections to “cynical” would have been best aired here rather than going to CC Admin and asking them to excise his words and those who responded to him. I share your concern that people communicate in a respectful manner. But why not join in the discussion rather than observing it from the outside as a self-appointed judge of what should or should not be allowed to be said?

I appreciate your objection to offensive speech and your reminder of CC’s published behavior policy. However, I trust you won’t mind if I take exception when you confidently claim,” I'm sure you'll agree that such an abuse of this forum constitutes a flagrant violation of that behavior policy.” The fact that CC posted “cynical’s” message in the first place would suggest what you describe as a “flagrant” violation was not unambiguously so. A violation? Perhaps. But your characterization of it as “flagrant” is unsupported by the evidence. In your zeal to root out and censor someone whose speech offended you, you have resorted to distortions and mischaracterizations. I commend you for coming forth and identifying yourself as the party who filed the complaint to CC, but the argument you make to justify your action, while understandable, is not finally persuasive and loses further weight by your ad hominem attacks on your critics as a bunch of gullible, naïve “sham critics” who failed to see the alleged injurious effects “cynical’s” words had on the Forum. For one so “easily offended,” I thought you would have been more sensitive before giving offense yourself.

RE: Wrong...

Excuse me, but if you are getting so easily offended each time when people are saying their opinions (which can be equally either a truth or they could be mistaken),..I think it is your problem but not the people's, and the best thing in this case is to learn how to accept different points of view and how to make your own. Even the style of your post shows that you are still very far from understanding how to deal with different folks and what is FORUM is all about. You made many people here to feel that their opinions is nothing but only yours is important. So, who to whom owes apology?

Reply

RE: Wrong...

I'm sorry to disapoint you, but I am not easily offended by just any opinion per se. What offended me in this specific matter is the very idea that a person would use this forum for the sole, expressed objective of upsetting/offending many others.
If you care to kindly take a look at the behaviour policy that governs this site, a policy that each and every person here has agreed to abide by to become a part of this community, I'm sure you'll agree that such an abuse of this forum constitutes a flagrant violation of that behavior policy.
Personally, being the forgiving and superior being that I am, I happen to humbly count myself as exceptionally kind for only having asked that the offending words be removed and not having requested the offending member have his membership revoked.

And now, for assuming so much of me and attacking me ONLY for your cynical, hyper-prejudicial imaginings, I kindly request that you apologise to me at your earliest convenience.

Hugs and kisses,

Easily Offended

RE: Censorship

If a message makes to the forum in the first place, it's not the censor employed by CamContacts that's deciding to take them down; someone who either spends money here or earns money here has complained and CamContacts is responding to that complaint.
I don't know why that's so difficult for you people to understand.
"thought police" .... Jesus, what melodrama.

Reply

RE: Censorship

Joe, Okay, your point is well taken, that “if a message makes it to the Forum in the first place” there was, by definition, no censorship. But if CC is responding to a member's complaint and deletes, post-facto, an already posted message, that is a kind of censorship, driven more by fear of lost revenue from paying customers---‘money talks’after all--- than moral principles and not because they found a message unworthy of posting. What’s more, I know from personal experience CC sometimes does this of its own accord; it is not always a consequence of a complaint. And hot political issues and religion are often the first posts to be excised. Your point is not “so difficult to understand.” It’s just not the only reason messages are deleted or not posted in the first place. In fact, I had to submit this very post—“Censorship”--- a second time, for it was not posted yesterday. Perhaps today's CC reviewer was a more discerning mind.

It seems to me CC is under no obligation to oblige every complaint by deleting the opinions of others as long as these opinions are not malevolent, overtly distasteful or outright hate speech. (Ironically, the not infrequent exchange of gratuitous adolescent insults among some members rarely gets deleted, whereas this did!) It seems to me the purpose of an Open Forum---for which CC deserves kudos---is to allow people to engage in reasoned arguments in a civil way, even if they take radically different views. In short, let members post their arguments where we can all participate and judge these arguments on their merits.

Finally, let me concede your point that my use of “thought police” was, in this context, a bit hyperbolic, but your characterization of it as “melodramatic” suggests a failure to appreciate---even in this small arena---the implications of prescribing and proscribing speech, rather than enjoying the freedom thereof.

RE: Censorship

I got many messages censored, not at all because they were offensive to anyone but because contents was not found nice by CC. For instance one about "freedom of speech", which is the title of the Forum page. Some probabilitstic calculations about some recent game on CC. So just don't expect too much if you are not promoting a host or talking about sunny weather!

Reply

RE: Censorship

Agreed. There is a definite agenda, and point of view by the people deciding on what actually gets "published".

I have had many posts censored, no profanity, no attack against others, purely on political content. Let's see if this sees the light of day...but I doubt it??

RE: Censorship

Reply

RE: Censorship

Male, You are right. This is not a "political forum" in the formal sense, but all human relationships, from the simple (one human being to another) to the complex (one State or Nation to another) contain an element of the political. And while CC exercises a reasonable right to avoid such conflicts by disallowing posts with content (I am thinking here of current and long standing animosities among nations, different religious and ethnic groups, etc.) that is unambiguously designed to be hurtful to other members and/or hosts, it seems to me there is room for an exchange of ideas--even if these ideas are highly charged--provided we do not allow our differences to undermine our regard for each other’s humanity.

RE: Censorship ~ Melomane2

Well I am kinda surprised that even this thread managed to get started as I have to say from my own personal point of view I have had more posts pulled or prevented in the last 6 months that I have had in the previous 5 years. And I have posted an AWFUL LOT over the last 5 years.

The was a time when forum moderation was a passive concern and that the forum users were trusted to police themselves and to report any unacceptable behaviour, however it does seem there has been a markedly more pro-active stance that seem to be just a touch too over zealous on certain counts.

Considering that these forums have been around and quite functional for more years than the current owners of CC have been in charge one is left to posit the proverb "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I for one would find CC to be destroying the best part of itself by alienating the community and constantly throttling it's free expression.

It has gotten so bad I even have to make copies of my post to either re-edit with the censors approval, or re-submit when a post conveniently get forgotten to be posted.

I am toying with the idea of sending out a news letter to all the people who appreciate my thoughts and would like to read them unedited. Sounds a be extreme to me but I too feel there is something that need s to be addressed.

"Freedom of speech, but no spam please"

Does seem to sound a little hollow these days.

RE: Censorship ~ Melomane2

While I sympathetic I have often been censored myself and would bet at a greater rate than you. Some subjects are strictly taboo. I believe CC would benefit from more openess. CC is still the best of its kind but lately has become less responsive to its members. I recall when CC used to respond to members questions in these forums. Rarely does that happen anymore with the exception of technical issues which they respond to quickly. I realize CC is a business and that much of which goes on behind the scenes they have good reasons for. If they would at least resond to some member requests if only to say "such and such" is not possible or "we are considering". Instead, we are frequently left in a vacuum of information whereas there is far more responsiveness to requests from hosts IMO. CC has produced many great innovations like 121 but reading these forums, one gets the impression that what once was a good idea is being misused by many. Yet we have no information from CC in this area.

SUPERMARKET SURROUND SOUND

SUPERMARKET SURROUND SOUND

The new supermarket near my house has an automatic water mister to keep
produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of thunder and
the smell of fresh rain.

When you approach the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and witness the
scent of fresh hay.

When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air
is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.

The veggie department features the sound of a gentle breeze and the smell
of fresh buttered corn.

I don't buy toilet paper there any more...

How is business in general these days for hosts?

Just curious because here in the U.S. it sure seems like we're headed into a recession (if we're not in one already). Just wondering if you hosts have seen any slowdown in business from U.S. customers (or others) over the last six months or so. Thanks!

I have noticed there are far more hosts online at any given time of day. I also noticed that prices have risen about 20-25% overall. The number of sub-$1.00 hosts is much lower than a year ago. The ones that remain seem to be in video much of their time online. I also notice a lot of new very expensive hosts. Not sure who goes to see a girl at $4.00 a minute especially in non-adult categories but logic says if they weren't making any money they would not be here. Goes back to the old argument does a host want to work 10 minutes an hour for 3 bucks a minute or 60 minutes an hour at .50 cents an hour.

hmmm, well ... I may be way off base here but I think the point he is trying to make is that looking at the profile pics of some of the chicks on here one could kinda get the idea that they were fucking hot but then reality steps in a kicks you in the nads once you get them into video and find that the semi-decent chick you were expecting has magically transformed into some partially-hideous skank. So either these chicks are naturally hot and choose to skank themselves up for video, or they have damn good makeup artists for the pics ... but I may be wrong, it has been known to happen sometimes, not this century but there is always a first time.

RE: Interesting when looking at Personal Profile Photos...

Aye there Eric... and I would like to add beauty is what you make of it and a lot of what you are accustomed to is not what reality is all about. Better stop chasing an impossible dream and love beauty of the self not of the selfishness.

They seemed to have rearranged their site but the Campaign for Real Beauty has an entertaining video called "Dove Evolution" which is available via a popular website for watching videos on which rhymes with YouLube. Just put that string in and search for it. Apparently I am not allowed to make direct links these days.

The Campaign for real beauty is still going strong and more people should realise their is such a gulf between media, magazines, TV and film and REAL LIFE (tm) our perceptions of what is really 'beautiful' is biased.

And please visit the Campaign for Real Beauty's website.

Isn't it about time you accepted people for who they are not what they look like?

RE: Interesting when looking at Personal Profile Photos...

Thank you for the link, TNT :)
I think it is a really global problem in perception of a real beauty among the humans. And the question here is not only to a women how they feel with their natural appearance but also to a men, how far they follow those standards of "ideal" woman and how much they pay attention to it. It is not a secret that any woman wants to be beautiful outside because of a man who chooses her among the others according to her shapes, weight, height, hair, etc. which standards he has taken from the magazines, podiums and movies very often. Lets suppose that there were only a women on the earth. I bet they would be happy with any kind of their appearance :) So, the main reason why they're so concerned about their bodies is a man of course. The same is vice versa in the attitude of a women to a men's appearance.
The bottom line is...We cannot totally change these things but we all can think at least, what is more important for us, to be and to have a cold beautiful doll, or to be and to have a real, warm and responsive person whose inner beauty can take the shine out of any wished on standards of a body. I know it is a bit strange to talk it on the site like this one, but lets remember that we all have our real lives apart of our computers.

Quite so LG :) And something in what you said reminds me of a funny quote by a well known actor.

"According to a new survey, women say they feel more comfortable undressing in front of men than they do undressing in front of other women. They say that women are too judgemental, where, of course, men are just grateful."

Robert De Niro.

Well I like it hehe ;)

RE: Interesting when looking at Personal Profile Photos...

I think some of the personal profile pictures here are amazingly well done. Very well posed, lighted and professionally taken. When I ask some of the girls say they do it themselves, some have the studio boss, other hosts or friends take them and I am sure a few have their nonexistent bf or husband take them. All in all I am very impressed. Some time and effort go into to many. Some. Not so much. Some are taken so far away it is hard to make out any detail, some insist on hiding their faces (generally that is a good idea), others are just not flattering and you wonder what is the host thinking? I like pictures taken outside of a studio at a beach, or on vacation, or just standing around in normal settings. For me it casts the host as a regular girl and that helps me relate to her and understand a bit about her personality.

As for how they look in video. Look you sit your ass in front of a computer in the dead of night after a day of school and see how you look. Sure they look tired, some the hair is a bit beat and the makeup and attitude is fading but a beautiful girl is a beautiful girl regardless. Maybe that is the demarcation point. A truly beautiful girl will look beautiful regardless...less beautfiul their looks suffer a bit with stress.

All in all I admire the hosts here. Most do a good job. I am more concerned about bad attitudes than less than picture perfect looks.

Reply

RE: i would like to know what to do to create a studio

The local studios in many of the countries, such as Russia, are illegal and as such are a part of a widespread underground economy.

As for taxes, you raise an interesting question, since the parent company---as a provider of services over the internet---is often elusive. There is a whole body of law that attempts to address the question of "where", for tax purposes, a business "is" that is essentially operating in cyberspace, making its location ambiguous. A company may have a base of operations in Europe, for example, but its domain may be registered in the Carribean, with banking operations in Asia and billing services in the US. As for studio owners, my sense is that those guys are not even on the map.

if you can't figure out the basics (i.e. rent apt/house, computers, internet, web cam, hire girls), you're gong to have a steep learning curve. Plus I don't think any studio boss or host will give you the full details, why would they help someone dilute thier earning pool.

WHO AM I?

As he approaches one of the homes he noticed that both cars were in the
driveway.

His wonder was cut short by Bob, the homeowner, coming out with a load
of empty beer and liquor bottles.

"Wow Bob, looks like you guys had one hell of a party last night," the
FED EX man comments.

Bob, in obvious pain, replies "Actually we had it Saturday night.

This is the first I have felt like moving since 4:00 am Sunday morning."

We had about fifteen couples from around the neighborhood over for some
weekend fun and it got a bit wild."

"Hell, we all got so drunk around midnight that we started playing WHO
AM I?"

The FED EX man thinks a moment and says, "How do you play WHO AM I?"

"Well, all the guys go in the bedroom and we come out one at a time with
a sheet covering us and with only our 'privates' showing through a hole
in the sheet. Then the women try to guess who it is."

The FED EX man laughs and says, "Damn, I'm sorry I missed that."

"Probably a good thing you did," Bob responded. "Your name came up
seven times..."

You can even be in the mafia..no need to work here either :)) You can be an enterpreneur related to governmental circles...knowing the inside infos.having all of those cute offshore companies where you save together the citizens money for yourself, you would never think of working here.:) On the other side..Hired by the goverment? Or by a multinational co? Using my masters degree? Come on, the country is full of young people with legal and economic degrees.. HOST since you choose to be so black and white on this issue and only offer one or the other... I will say the members (the ones spending the money) are the stupid ones HERE. But keep your ego in check, HOST, because that is ONLY HERE. By your definitions, you are just as stupid as the members EVERYWHERE you spend the money you've earned. Something to think about before being so quick to feel superior to anyone. Kinda sucks the pleasure out of all those shopping sprees now, doesn't it?

Reply

RE: hmmm.. who are the stupid ones on here

It does make loads of sense "a noun". Perhaps you need to brush up on your reading comprehension skills. I will summarize it for you... HOST asks a question which implies that because she earns money on this site she is more intelligent than all the people that spend money on this site... thus boosting her ego and allowing herself to feel superior to her customers. However she fails to realize that by taking the model which she has created for this site and expanding it to encompass all of the places in which she is a customer in her life, it by default, implies that she is less intelligent than the people she gives money to in exchange for goods and services that she recieves from them. Simple.

Monday Pick Me Up

A cabbie picks up a Nun.  She gets into the cab, and notices that the VERY
handsome cab driver won't stop staring at her.

She asks him why he is staring. He replies: "I have a question to ask you
but I don't want to offend you, "She answers, "My son, you cannot offend
me. When you're as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you
get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's
nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive."

"Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me." She responds,
"Well, let's see what we can do about that: #1, you have to be single and
#2, you must be Catholic."

The cab driver is very excited and says, "Yes, I'm single and Catholic!"
"OK" the nun says. "Pull into the next alley." The nun fulfills his fantasy
with a kiss that would make a hooker blush.

But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying. "My dear
child," said the nun, why are you crying?" "Forgive me but I've sinned. I
lied and I must confess, I'm married and I'm Jewish."

The nun says, "That's OK, My name is Kevin and I'm going to a Halloween
party."

For those of you who are concerned :-)

Well, those who think I am boring, just please don't read. You were warned :-)

This is for all of those who were not lazy or shy to ever post their compliments to me. Thank you very very much :-)

Actually, my aim of posting in this forum is not everyone's admiration...I just speak out what I feel I have to. And still the best compliment for me is "thought (or thinking) provoking" :-)
Here I have a great possibility to talk to the worldwide public and I am really glad that at least part of it can hear me. In fact I haven't enough time to post in the other forums of the other sites...so, I'm posting here where I'm working for now.
I respect everyone's point of view and everyone of you, except of those who feel themselves so happy when they hurt any other person purposely. All what I want is if we all together could kill our the worst feelings and let the best of our feelings to speak. No need to hide them. Then there is a chance to make our common world a little better...

Well, enough of my words. Let me post a words of my favourite poet Bulat Okudzhava who is now a bit forgotten in Russia.

Translated by Alec Vagapov.

Let's shout and rejoice, admire one another.
About high-flown words we do not need to bother.
Let's live in mutual praise, make complimentary comments
For these are, after all, love's great and happy moments.
Let's grieve and cry without concealing feelings, whether
We're by ourselves or whether we're together.
About vicious tongues we do not have to bother
For love and sorrow always accompany each other.
Let mutual understanding attend us at conferring
So that we prevent our old mistakes recurring.
Let's get along indulging and pleasing one another
For life is very short, there won't be any other.

Please, don't reply to this my post, there is no need...
All the best for everyone :-)

I wasn't going to continue this thread but you've puzzled me...
I'm afraid I just can't find a relation of your reply with my original post.

Anyway...If you meant that "Bulat Okudzhava now is a bit forgotten in Russia" because he was a Georgian, it is not what I meant...Yes, he was born in Georgia but then lived till his death in Moscow and still associated with USSR. I mean that these days lots of extraordinary people including from any of former republics were almost forgotten. That is very sadly and a big loss. There was a time in 50-60-70ss of great poets, actors, etc...Some people still remember and love that period despite the wrongs which we all know very well.
As for our "red past"...well, my point is that there cannot be a simple answer. There were good things with a bad ones mixed together. As you said, it takes a time for people to realize what they've lost instead of what they have got...The same I can say about Russian culture. Along with a brilliant talents we have a lots of real rubbish. But I think nowadays it is a common trend all over.

Reply

RE: For those of you who are concerned :-)

and russian filmakers from those periods are passed over as well. as today...you can blame your political leadship, little respect for the resources devoted to the older generations...too much focus on youth...which is the problem with capitalist consumer driven society's...so welcome to the west...maybe lenin and marx had it right.

You could always move to Cuba and relive your glorious communist past.
If you're an artist of any stripe though, just be mindful that you don't produce anything that casts the regime in a bad light... A Cuban prison I'm sure is much better than a gulag, but still...

Its not easy to be in love with a host, there are always suspicions but after 3 years I have come to terms with her work! She has to do it to survive and live, I understand that. She would not choose to do this work but has no other choice at this time. Its all about trust! And the same applies in reverse, I am a member of this site and she trusts me to stay faithful to her too! If you have trust then anything is possible!

All guys wouldn't be happy about it.

As for "i would support whatever desicion she thinks would be best for her." I wonder what if your gf was a prostitute who sucked and fucked twenty guys a day without a condom.

The "I respect whatever decision she makes" is a false statement that is made with your own internal limits intact.

It is not the best job and I would worry a bit about guys trying to seduce her into reality, but I could be serious about her as a gf. However, once we applied for the visa I would ask her to stay away from Not So Shy category and once she got the visa I would ask her to quit this site.

i question you if you come here in search of a real relationship...most girls here...despite what they tell you...r here for the money...they get seduced by it and/or/refuse to develop any other of their talents...from the member perspective...it is similar...funny enough...except you loose your money. ;)

Husbands and b/f and even family members will never be jealous. They benefit from your work. It is in their self-interest as much as it is yours to be working here. They encourage and pimp your existence ! Don't think for one minute they respect you or honor your work here.

Why do you think it is not the best way to earn money?
Especially if you live somewhere in eastern europe where 3000$ a month can provide you a brilliant lifestyle.
I know girls in England giving up their stupid full time jobs to enjoy the easy money from here.
And why would my husband think less of me. He respects me and my decisions in life, loves me and takes very good care of me.
He knows I only enjoy the cash from here and is happy as long as he doesn't need ot pay for my 100+ pounds bags and shoes LOL.
I'm sure many of the chathosts make more money than the viewers and enjoy much better lifestyles.

I know I wouldn't accept it. I wouldn't take any girl from this site seriously. I met many hosts who were with guys from their city towns, married or just living together as boyfriends. These girls were friends of mine and some of them still are, but most of them confessed to had fallen in love with me or other members. Their confessions made me look at reality and know that girls or women that are exposed to these type of jobs are not recommendable. Guys can stop coming here and continue their real life and forget about everything, but girls due to their sentimental nature keep in touch with most members using emails, messengers, sms. these members become part of their daily life up to the point of falling in love with them. So my answer is no. I wouldn't like my gf or wife to do this.

RE: Question for guys: what if UR gf(wife, etc)...

A double standards are among the things which always amaze me. Why do you, men, think that you are somehow "cleaner" or have a "higher" moral than the girls who work here? Why it is you who should judge a girl according to what she is doing? Doesn't any girl here on CC or there in real life have to decide if to marry a guy when she knows he can come on the porn site and pay for the live video?
If to call this kind of work a "bad thing" or a "sin" or somehow else...then lets face it, man is the one who TAKES PART, so the second person in that interaction, then they both are a sinners. But if to admit that there is nothing wrong with this work, so where is a problem then? Just a little thing is required - to be honest with yourself and to start judging yourself first...
Hmmm...being such a moralists, why not to spend a time in the museums and art galleries or just read a good book before going to sleep?

RE: Question for guys: what if UR gf(wife, etc)...

one thing you probably never heard of is that men are men regardless what we do we will never have anything lose as opposed to women that have a reputation to care for. Also, we are not the ones being paid to serve others sins. We pay, but girls can always say no. Do we lose anything by trying? No. Would a real good girl perform a strip tease for other than her husband or bf? No Go and figure it out :-P

RE: Question for guys: what if UR gf(wife, etc)...

I assure you that I have heard many things in my life, and this one too. I have heard this fictive theory and bombastic idea of men's impeccability many times, and I am sure it still lives because it is very suitable for men like you who cover their own sins and justify their own disloyalty "regardless what they do"...Who said to you that men should be a special caste? Have you ever heard the law that BOTH men and women must keep their souls in fairness and their bodies in purity? But ah, it is so hard to keep, so men created their new law which let them to violate the first one, and which let them to use a woman and then to judge her...
Before to judge others everyone has to start from judging his own principles.

I totally agree that women should keep their reputation, but don't tell me that men are those who are exceptions. So, go and figure it out...

RE: Question for guys: what if UR gf(wife, etc)...

men and women will be judged the same. it depends on how you feel inside and how you are prepared to live with yourself to what degree you are willing to deny your inner reality and maybe you prefer to deny it because you do not want to suffer so you continue to do the same things that you will always do and you will never change and hope to be a better person inside for yourself only not for what others think of you.

RE: Question for guys: what if UR gf(wife, etc)...

I wouldn't like it. It is one thing when she is single and depends on working here fo earn a living, but something different after she is married. If she is living with her husband and he earns enough to support them both comfortably and live a decent lifestyle, if she loves and respects her husband and their marriage, then why would a wife want to go online and show her body and be sexual with other men? And it is not only the showing and the performing for other men... it is the close and emotional bonds she forms with these men... sometimes telling them things that should only be shared with her husband. I don't agree with the "it is my body and i will do what i want with it... i am independent" attitude. if that is how you feel, don't get married... it is that kind of "modern" thinking that has caused the divorce rates to sore in "modern" times. in marriage your body is not yours... it is a gift to your other half... that is the way it was intended...and neither should abuse their gifts... but cherish them and strive to keep them special to the other. if a person does that in a marriage then jealousy is a rare thing. for a married person a place like this can easily come between you and your mate. as i said if a woman was married and didn't need to be here financially why would she choose to be? just because the viewer cannot touch her does not mean she is not giving him a piece of her real self... have you ever heard of emotional cheating? when a person shares personal thoughts and feelings and emotions with someone besides their partner... begins sharing with them things they have never told their partner and developing a deep emotional connection and feelings for that person. it slowly robs the marriage of it's intimacy. think of the ways you show love... sharing secrets, feelings... giving them your time... giving them your energy... giving them your laughter... giving them your soul... giving them your body.... when you begin to give these things to others when they should be given to your partner it is cheating.... because you are taking away from your partner. a wife being on a site like this opens herself up to temptation... falling in love with the attention and compliments of other men... developing bonds and feelings for other men, etc. that slowly shift her focus from her marraige and her husband and draw her deeper and deeper into this world... until she spends more time with these men online and shares more of herself with them than she does her husband and the marriage falls apart.

RE: Question for guys: what if UR gf(wife, etc)...

a host.. you speak too broadly... I didn't say ALL the women here do not have self-respect and for your counter... not all the members here are married, so they hide nothing from a wife. As I said before, if a woman is single and working as a host to support herself... fine. If she is married and has to work to help financially and this kind of work is the only option that is available to her that she could earn enough... I think it is sad, but I understand she must do what is necessary for her and her husband to survive. But what about the married women that do not have to be working here for financial reasons... the ones who have husbands that earn enough to support them both and give them a decent lifestyle without her being a chathost and stripping and being sexual with other men? Why are those women hosting? I did not say these women do not respect themselves... I am sure they have plenty of self-respect, however, I think they have very little respect for their marriages. They are hosting just to have adult fun and be sexual with other men... they are doing it for their own selfishness and egos. People can try to protect their conscience by arguing it is just harmless fun because no one is physically touching... that it isn't cheating... but deep down they know it is wrong... that it is cheating and that they shouldn't be doing these things with anyone except their partner. If you came home one day and found your partner and a stranger of the opposite sex sitting naked on opposite sides of the kitchen table, talking dirty to each other and watching each other masturbate would you be pissed off and think they were doing something wrong even though they weren't touching? Most likely you would call them a cheater. So why try to argue that it is ok if they were doing the same thing on computers over the internet? You know it is not. In both cases they are doing the exact same thing, the only actual difference is the distance between them while they do it. And before any host tries to make an argument about married men being here... you are right... I think married men are wrong for being here as well. Both are equally wrong.

RE: Question for guys: what if UR gf(wife, etc)...

"lol", I wonder, why did you get married? Also, if your husband didn't want you doing this work, or be doing/showing certain things in video, would you care? Everything in your post, was about you... you'll do what you want, you'll work where you want, you'll show what you want... and nobody has the right to say anything about it because you are your own person and you will do it even if you don't need the money. It sounds very selfish and childish of you. Marriage isn't about being independent... it's about being co-dependent. Marriage isn't about "you will do whatever you want when you want", it is about being repectful of your spouses feelings and doing what is best for the both of you. Since you boast about having a degree in psychology, you should be even more aware of these simple concepts than most people. You speak as if you have a happy marriage, but I wonder how true that is... you seem so caught up in yourself and your own desires that I don't think you have even bothered to ask your husband about what he wants and if he is happy in the marriage or to really listen to how he feels about the things you do... nor would you care enough to stop doing them if they did hurt or bother him. That is precisely what I was talking about in my previous post when I said "I believe they have little respect for their marriages". If you want to be part of two independent people living their own lives but living in the same house, don't get married, just get a roommate. If you want to experience real love, respect, understanding and intimacy in a marriage then you have to stop living for yourself and start living for each other... and that means not always doing what you want.
