People have always went about documenting, analysing, and discussing every aspect of their personal lives. You are arguing against yourself. Diaries and journals are essentially for private consumption (at least the honest ones are) which is the exact opposite of the phenomenon that was being criticised. Only Registered Viewers can post in the Viewers Forum, even though all can read it. Some hosts are members, but most are not.

There are only two ways to answer a member's question now that cc has changed the mailing system for hosts...either the member enters your video so that you can then send him a mail, or you answer here, or he mails you directly. So really if the first and third options are not given then as hosts our only other option is to answer here...

Given that often perhaps only one or two new threads are started each day; and then view this in the context of how popular the site is (based on published rankings of website traffic) the inescapable conclusion is that either the vast majority of people are unaware of or simply ignore the forum (most likely); or read it but aren't sufficiently engaged enough to ever submit a posting. So, but for a (proportionately) small circle of regular users, the public forums are essentially moribund, and their absence is unlikely to have any impact.

Or do you mean traffic as in persons visiting the site just to have something to do, which might include Comm Chat, Forums, Picture-gazing, or VideoChat?

If by traffic you are referring to videochat, I'd have to say NO, or at least not a noticeable impact. Sites which have no forum seem to flourish just as well as does this site. I do not think it will be the forum or lack thereof which impacts traffic, as much as pricing, user-friendliness, and quality of video experience. (Of course there are always though who are enticed into videochat by experiences elsewhere on the site... e.g., a host's name referred to in the forum, or one of those pestering comm chat hosts who swoop in like vultures to feed on new flesh in the comm chat room)

If you mean overall traffic referring to all the site has to offer, then probably yes, there would be a significant decrease. The site would lose those who come mostly for the forum experience.

I for one do not come here only to videochat. Many is the time, all I do is visit the forums. In fact I'm finding my videochat experience decreasing more and more. I spend a lot of time enjoying and participating in the forums. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for videochat. Sometimes, I have more important priorities on my money than a 30-60 minute fling via webcam. And sometimes, I'm just plain not desiring -- the old libido just ain't what it used to be.

You are not as smart as you think. It depends on what sttings she has for her room. it is possible for a room to be set up so that the host can chat to other members while she is in video but most do not do this.

To my knowledge, other rooms don't close automatically when a host has a videochat, whether or not she is in 1-2-1. And unfortunately, some hosts maybe forget to close other rooms that are open, or just simply ignore the rule.

I've had that happen to me often and I appreciate the host telling me she was in vid with another viewer no matter if it was on cc or another site. Sometimes I drop in vid anyway and just watch. I see group shows on other sites I go to. There is an advantage to group shows as it is hard to type with one hand. One on one vid is nice but sometimes group shows work better. And of course you can always go to the next model on cc or another site.

Let me make this loud and clear to all of you who are jumping on my ass without reason. This host was not in video under the name I was talking to her as both her video options where available.

Meaning I could enter either her open session or her one to one session.

So if she was in video in another room under another name or in video on another site then the rules are very clear, when a host is in video somewhere else then she is to close all her rooms on this site.

Members get cursed for jumping into video and expecting things, we get cursed for going to free chat as it is assumed that all members will just sit and talk. Well this was not the case, I went to her free chat to confirm that she will do a simple request, I was not rude to her or nothing, it took her forever to answer and then when she finally did answer it was a two word answer.

Well that is fine but she should not have had that particular room open so a member sits there patiently waiting for a response.

I happen to make a post about a problem I had with a host and all of you jump on me. I did not demand that she toss the other video that she was else where. Simply put she should have followed the rules and closed her room while in a video else where.

I see other members post their complaints demanding that they are paying and that host should do as told and all that crap...and the one and only time I do post of a problem I get cursed out wow. I have seen posts complaining of hosts and giving the hosts name that are a lot harsher than mine and I do not see such coldness towards them.

Because, not infrequently, there are individual postings or forum threads where members feel an irresistable urge to explain/brag/warn (delete as appropriate) why they give 1*. And also because I have experienced on several occasions when another member joins an ongoing video session and, not writing in private, says "your hair colour is different to the pics/you're not wearing the dress from profile pic/your frame rate is too slow (delete as appropriate)..I'm going to rate you 1* ...bitch". Actually, I do not agree with you. as I've seen some changes over time of things that have been suggested. Problem is a lot of the changes take quite a while to put into place. And just because someone has an idea, doesn't mean that everyone shares that idea as needed or important.

My experience is that CS does listen to everything we send them. Of course they don't just jump at every suggested change. They need to make sure it's in the best interest of the site as a whole, as well as it is a do-able suggestion. Changes cost money, I'm sure, especially if it requires new software or technology, or paying someone knowledgeable enough to make the changes.

So my recommendation is: if you think something can be done better: suggest it. If it is reasonable and do-able, you may see it in place at some future point. Of course, you may be too old to have any fun here any more beyond looking and drooling, but hey, who's to say it won't happen? ;)

i agree with LIG. 121, Cam2cam, sound, restrictions on the no. of concurrent sessions, bigger video windows, were all introduced follwoing suggestions by members. Sometimes these changes have taken a while to implement and CC does not blindly make every change that is suggested.

A Member's examples are some of what I am thinking of.

Also, I was referring to the fact that every time I message them with a problem, or a complaint, they are usually quick to reply, and generally they seem to make an honest attempt to answer the email. Once it was quite clear that I got a simple "form letter" response when I was having a problem, and I called them on it, so they replied again in a clearly thoughtful reply and solution to the problem. At other times, CC and I have worked together over a string of emails to resolve a particular problem. Sometimes the problem has been on their end and they have corrected it after my message to them.

And I have to say that at times when I have been censored for something in the forums, CC has occasionally taken the time to message me personally to explain their actions. At times when I have complained about something here in the forums, they have responded to my complaint by CCmail either to explain the problem or to say they are working on it.


I have found Customer Service at CC more responsive and more genuinely concerned about the viewer comments than any other site I have been on.

Sorry I have to disagree. All of the changes you mention were a result of offering what their competitors have. I joined this site in 2000 and have never received a form letter. But I do agree cc has the best customer service of any site I have ever visited.

I doubt it's simply because CC Scouts were out and about checking what other sites had... I've been a member since 2001, and in the forums, I have seen member after member as well as host after host asking for certain things, many of which, eventually, became implemented. Had folks not wanted these changes or expressed interest in them, no matter how many other sites may have had them, I seriously doubt CC would have invested the time and resources to developing them.

The form letter, received on numerous occasions was of the essence: "Clear out your cache, update your Flash, blah blah blah." When I finally called them on it, they sent me a bonafide, genuine, helpful response and we engaged in a process of resolving the issues I was having.

OK I do agree that hosts and members asking for certain things mattered. But, the competition for other sites was more of a factor. If those members and hosts did not get the things they asked for, maybe many would have left here for the other sites that had more of what they wanted. And yes I agree that if both members and hosts did not want a certain thing, it was not going to happen. A case in point, free public video.

As far as the form letter you say you got, maybe I'm missing something or I'm just old and senile, but in my memory, I have only received direct replies to any questions I may have had But we agree customer service is very good, so let's leave it at that.

I have over the course of years had numerous problems accessing this site, or certain parts of the site. Invariably, after contacting CS the standard response has been (more often than not) the email response I have indicated: regardless of what the problem was.

The real point that I'm making is not to harp on them for a form letter response, but to mention that they do listen, they do respond, and even if at times their response has been less than adequate, they will eventually respond with an appropriate response if pressed. Sometimes, I've had the feeling that Customer Service is buying time to research the issue by sending out a form letter to let customers know that their email has been received.

Over the years, some of the problems I've had have been: Logging in, accessing videochat, being able to communicate in videochat, having credit card approved, viewing the archives and/or enlarging the archives, ccMail notifications. Some have been because of inadequacies on my PC and/or internet, while others have been a problems on CC's end.

There are approximately 75 hosts on your list out of which I only recollect having visited 4 of them, but I could compile my own list of 75 names, probably many of which you have never visited. And many others can compile their own lists, of familiar and unfamiliar names. The point being there is such variety here, there is no excuse for anybody to be a dissatisfied customer. Even if a visit to a host proves disappointing for whatever reason, we must surely all have at least 1 (and often 3, 7, 10, 20!!) hosts that we know will satisfy us EVERY time. And if somebody hasn't, then perhaps they should consider the problem lies elsewhere than with the hosts.

sometimes mine have lasted longer even after we both nude as we then play additional games of something else. It will always be the member's choice of what he wants to do. But sort that out right from the get go, before the video even starts if the member comes to free chat first. That way there is no problems and all have fun. Btw..remembered 2 more out of town couples, that fit. So 9 long term first time, evidently very happy couples. Still 3 happy couples that were formerly divorced.

So I thought about this at some length...wrote down the couples initials, stared at them and looked for common ground, etc. Here's what I came up with. Btw, if you want a more detailed answer, I can give those initials with a comment or two after each. This is in regards to the 9, not the 3 formerly divorced.

So what brought them together. Equally as important, I noticed, and I believe is what did Not bring them together.
Here's what did: Love...truly, they were all, and still are in love. Secondly..in 6 out of 9 casse Religion...didn't bring them together, in and of itself, but was a key factor.
Third: All of the guys, and most of the ladies are easy going people. You could also call that tolerance I guess...they Don't however, let themselves be walked over, but they do have good tact....good diplomacy, even tempers.

Here's what didn Not bring them together:
Money. Most are what I'd call upper middle class...good money, but certainly not rich. Two of the guys were definitely not well off at the time...actually struggling.
Looks. Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder as the saying very correctly goes...and this varies amonst these people naturally...however, I'd pretty safely say that none of the guys are knock-outs. Sure, some are considered fairly attractive, but not overwhelming so. The women: 1 very attractive, 1 fairly attractive, the other 7, definitely not.
Pregnant: Zero. None of them---for sure--100% on this--got married due to pregnancy. 8 of 9 ended up having various amounts of kids later on in marriage--(one couple just didn't want kids at all)--but none were married just because of this.

There you go :) It just so happens that I'm very perceptive, and analytical, so could give you hopefully, a good response. As I originally said, and as someone later restated...they could all just be happy on the surface, and hate each other in private...but I really doubt it. Again...2 things on that...I really am very keenly perceptive, so I would probably figure it out...also as I mentioned...these are very good, long time friends....meaning they are pretty darn open in front of me...they Do have their bad moments, but overall, they are all quite happy. I'm all for love and people choosing to devote the rest of their lives to one another, I'm just curious about marriage in general though. Being a religious institution, and considering that a great many people aren't really very religious in our society today, I just wonder sometimes why couples bother to get married at all. Marriage is first step for divorce... thats why i never agree to marry my wifey, we just happy to live together 14 years, why spoil all this with getting married

I know two couples, they been together for over 25 yrs and they still are happy, they are open honest and faithful to each other, the only time they do anything behind each others back is when they are buying each other something or planning a something special to surprise each other.

they have told each other of fantasies and have also fulfilled fantasies together. Usually when you ask couples individually if they happy or have complaints. these two couples have said when asked together or asked individually if they are truly happy and they always say yes and they say it is because they are so open honest and faithful to each other. They talk about everything and do not go to bed angry with each other. They admit they have had bumpy patches but have worked those bumps out and those bumps in the road have made their relationship stronger..

They still hold hands...they always kissing each other...they trust each other completely...they respect each other...they actually listen to each other and hear each other....and they do not take each other for granted. they did say that there was a time that one of them was not feeling satisfied sexually, so they talked about it and asked what could be done to help and it did help.

they are very much sexual with each other....have gone on trips and camping and I have even stayed with each couple for periods of times during their marriage, the last time being a few months ago, and to my surprise they are as happy together as when they first started out, in fact they seem happier because of what they have built together.

while I am happy for them, it sounds like boring, solid middle-class love life to me.... holding hands, kissing in public, showing understanding... *yawn*

Well maybe that is boring to you, but try sleeping in their home when they are doing more than kissing and holding hands, what you thought I would talk of them making out in public. Well they have done that too, if you read the whole response you would see that they do enjoy more than just the kissing and holding hands. Their sex life is very much alive and active.

Maybe their passion is triggered by the presence of other people.
There are people who like kissing at parties or when they have guests.
That's the question- are they still so much in love alone in their house?

I personally like to see happy couples but not when they constantly touch and kiss- vulgar.

There is nothing vulgar about seeing a couple who have gone thru hell and back, holding hands, giving each other a kisses, telling each other that they love each other, showing each other affection, putting little notes in the lunches that they made for each other for work, or writing little notes on a mirror when one wakes up and heads off to work before the other is awake, as well as other things they do to let the other know they are special. The one couple has suffered thru a great loss that many couples dont recover from and end up splitting up from, but this couple supported each other thru it are still very much together and not just pretending to be happy.
No their passion is not only triggered by the presence of other people. Many times I have come into the house and seen them sitting watcing tv holding hands, or cuddled together watching tv. They do not only do it when they have guests or at parties. You make it sound like they are making out infront of people and that is not so.
As one of the Husbands of the two couples said to someone when he was teased for giving his wife a kiss on the cheek, "if I want to give my wife a kiss on her cheek or even on her mouth and tell her that I love her then I will do so"
I am not sure why you would think that a couple who still hold hands or gives each other a kiss is so vulgar. You make it sound like they are making out and pawing each other in public, and that is not the case.
Maybe you are not the type who wants to have someone show you that they still love you and are happy to be with you, but to me seeing such displays of affection between a couple that have been together for well over 25 yrs. is very refreshing to see and is very rare to see.

I believe there is a thin line that separates real feelings from showing off in public. I also like it when I am in the mood and my bf holds the door for me, kisses me in public or holds my hand but some ppl overdo it.

Example- a while ago I sat alone on a bench in a park (its spring after all and I like flowers and greenery) and a medium-young couple (around 30 y.o.) sat in front of me on the grass, although there was plenty of free benches or space around and started to kiss.
It is not that I am extremely offended but I have a romantic streak and I would prefer my private moments- sun, music in mp3-player and flowers than watching two intrusive kissing strangers.

No I am not a psychologist nor an analyst of couples. I just happen to know these two particular couples my whole life.

I agree that some couples over do it and some couples just put on a front and I really do not see the point in pretending to be happy, and as for those who over do it well that is their business.

But with these two couples I and those who know them can say they are still happily married. They are not one of those couples that over do it nor do it just because people are around.

It is very rare to find couples that have been married a long time that are truly happily married. I don't know why you are so determined to discredit that I know of two couples who are still happily married, or that it exists.

Just because you don't know any does not mean they don't exist. The thread was started and the question asked. I am simply answering.

For example, if I saw one of the husbands in my chatroom with pants down, I would discredit their happyness. For me personally it would be a shitty deal if my husband came here in order to keep going the romantic happiness in the family.....whatever the circumstances.

I was simply responding to the original posters question... of "How many REALLY happily married (first marriage) couples do you know? I don't know many."

you are the one that started in writing giving the impression that you doubted and you directed it at me and all my responses. my response had nothing to do with anyone being on here, it was simply saying yes I know two couples and that is it wonderful and rare to see people that are Happily married and still in first marriage.

If you had not directed your comments to me and my responses then, I would not have said anything to your comments and just chalked it up to your opinion and what you have seen, simple as that. But then you come up with assuming i am a psychologist and/or an analyzer of relationships.

As far as I am concerned if a person is on here behind their partners back then obviously that person is not in a happy marriage.

I never said I don't like American hosts. I said I prefer Russian and other eastern European hosts, because I can interact with American women every day, but the only way I can interact with Russian girls is here on cc.

Yes, completely agree. I also live in USA, and being with these girls, is a nice change of pace from real life. I actually worked with russian girl here for about 6 months, and she was awesome, great girl. Very, very sharp; was going to a private college...very funny, nice person, great work ethic...and yes, also very cute.

Still whoever I have a session with, will be based on all the usual factors: looks, price, what they'll do, etc. So far it has not been a usa girl though; and indeed this is definitely due to availability...usually find about 10 usa girls on, spread across all categories, and roughly 120+ russian ladies. If there were 100+ usa girls, sure I could find someone, but that's just the way it is.

English matters quite a bit as well...if I really enjoy a girl, I'll certainly return...and their english does not by any means, have to be perfect, but if they have a translator..and that's sooo obvious when they do..then I will probably not go back, unless everything else was incredibly good.

Im amazed you haven't gotten a ton of genuine responses. You are very intelligently and sincerely asking...basically at it's core, why people are here. You pay money to see a show, so what would you like out of that show...I always respect hosts that ask these questions, and it's just plain smart to do so.

Anyway...my answer: Uniforms, costumes, sexy dresses. Those can all be sexy as hell, and are not ...common. So: seeing you in cheerleader outfit, schoolgirl, maid, etc all can be very, very sexy. Also, one of those real nice, short, low cut dresses, very hot.

One other thing: sexy talk can be great. Use your imagination...tell me what sexy things you'd do to me if I was there, or what you'd like me to do to you, etc. ...only if you have audio though; effect is mostly lost in text. But if you know how to talk sexy, that's great...I can give you things to say in session, but better of course, if you can come up with them on your own.

most of us have items in our closet..to make a outfit..like a secretary, student, nice dress for an evening out...you don't have to wear it all the time online, just once in a while.. it is amazing what one can put together with every day clothes in our closet...just about every female has a short skirt...even school girl can be a pleated skirt doesn't have to plaid..

If you work at home & have a laptop and a balcony, or hidden spot in a garden, it would be nice to see you acting in daylight. That`s what i am looking for.

Along similar lines, I once saw an amazing show on another site where the host was performing using her laptop with built-in cam, in a hotel lobby. Wouldn't be allowed here, because of the rule about unregistered persons appearing on cam: it was a busy lobby, and a very daring show.

lol...no, that would have drawn to much attention to herself. The only thing she wasn't wearing was knickers, and she'd positioned herself so the table and laptop monitor itself obsucred what she was doing from the people in the lobby; but the camera itself clearly showed her playing with herself, whilst the mic picked-up all the innocent conversations going on around her. And once or twice she had to just discreetly position a newspaper to further conceal things from public view, but not that of the viewers online. It was all very erotic.
