I like orgasms, but.....
I like to watch a pretty girl have an orgasm - yes I know most of the time it's fake here, but it's still sexy as hell. My problem is some girls here just take way too long (maybe intentionally?). Hey, if we are in $1 or $1.50 and you wanna spend 15 minutes getting yourself off, go for it! But if you think I am gonna pay $3 per min while you take a half hour to get there, you are crazy. Unfortunately there is really know way to tell a person to hurry up without ruining the mood, so I guess it will have to be discussed in advance? I'm out of ideas.
RE: I like orgasms, but.....
Just be glad you never knew my 2nd wife...she took 7 years to have an orgasm while I was paying all the expenses... even more unfortunately, she had it with another guy. (((
RE: I like orgasms, but.....
obviously helps to find the hosts that are open to enjoying orgasms online
RE: I like orgasms, but.....
I never cum or fake an orgasm here but.........
If u think that ure the only member on here, or that there are no guys who will pay 3.00 per min or more to see a girll cumming-ure crazy.

RE: I like orgasms, but.....
The host can get off on her own time. I'm only concerned with me getting off. I'm the one paying. And I've payed over $3 and got no more than talk in Glamour and Shy
RE: I like orgasms, but.....
I'm out of of ideas when it comes to women also. I'm waving the white flag.....I'll never understand them.
RE: I like orgasms, but.....
Just tell the host that you want the quickie fake orgasm that takes 5 minutes and see where that gets you :D

RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
happy thanksgiving day roman holiday and all, today count your blessings in a special way and don't forget to pass it on.
RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
yessa "Happy Thanksgiving Day" and made all your blessings be plenty and full of life. Enjoy this day the native american indians and pilgrims came together and share the love and to pass along to us at the present time and for us to pass it on to our future generations. Thanks and enjoy your day, come to think of it enjoy your weekend.
RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
I worked and native Americans are not happy at a day the celebrates the theft out their nation.
RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
What does "I worked" have to do with rest what you said?
And a correction, just to be nitpicky. It was not "their nation" Native Americans made up a multitude of "nations" but not a nation which was a political entity. However your point is clear, and good. Our ancestors did move in and take over the nation. As Israelites took over Canaan, as Huns swept across Europe, as Romans conquered Gaul, as Muslims took over the Middle East, Southern Europe, parts of Africa, as Brits extended their empire across India, Australia, parts of South America, East coast of North America, the Dutch in South Africa; and far too many others to mention. Peoples displacing peoples is history of the world.

RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
yeah nice and just to be clear: they were thanking God, and not the indians.
RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
That's true they were thanking God while stealing the country from the Indians
RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
They were not stealing. btw the indians gave VD to euro settlers who took it back to Europa
RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
ahhh you rape my land, I rape your health. sounds like a fair trade to me :)
RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
1. Of course the Native Americans stole the land from the earlier inhabitants when they - themselves immigrated to N. America.
2. Your ill informed about early USA History. (dont get your history from Katy Couric et al). You confuse later government actions with the pilgrims. The pilgrims settled on the land of a non-existant dead tribe.
"The Pilgrims later discovered that this area had been the territory of the Patuxets, a large, hostile tribe that had barbarously murdered every white man who had landed on their shores. However, four years before the arrival of the Pilgrims, a mysterious plague had broken out among them, and killed every one of them. The devastation had been so complete that neighboring tribes feared the area. The cleared land which the Pilgrims found therefore literally belonged to no one. Their nearest neighbors were the Wampanoags, fifty miles to the southwest. Their chief, Massasoit, had such wisdom that he ruled over several other small tribes in that area.
It happened that, just when they were needed, two English- speaking Indians, at separate times, came into contact with the Pilgrims. Samoset, a chief of the Algoniquins in Maine, had learned English from various fishing captains who had been exploring the coast of Maine. Squanto, another English-speaking Indian, had actually spent several years in Europe. A Patuxet, he found his way back to his native land only to find that his entire tribe had died of disease."

RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
actually, thanksgiving did not become a holiday until lincoln proclaimed a national day of thanksgiving during the civil war, after which it disappeared until if memory serves me correctly, FDR reinstated it
RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
WarChant is pretty much correct.
Thanksgiving Day had been celebrated irregularly, and sometimes not at all by various states since George Washington had called upon the nation to give Thanks for the happy conclusion of the Revolutionary War. Sarah Josepha Hale, author of the song "Mary Had a Little Lamb", trie for 36 years to get the government to make Thanksgiving Day a national holiday, but to no avail -- until Abraham Lincoln yielded to her request, and issued a Thanksgiving proclamation declaring the last Thursday in November 1863 to be a day for Thanksgiving and urging Americans to commend those widowed and orphaned by the Civil War to God and to pray for healing of the nation. It was celebrated unofficially on that day each year states until 1939, when Franklin Roosevelt moved the day up one week to spur retail Christmas sales and to boost the economy. Two years later, Congress signed into law that Thanksgiving would be a national holiday on the 4th Thursday of every November.
Today, Thanksgiving Day remembers the Pilgrims' harvest thanksgiving which they shared with the Wampanoag Indians, who had been instrumental in helping them to survive. But it also is a day to remember the religious and other freedoms which have been the foundation of our nation here in USA, and to remember the blessings of harvest and other provisions of God.

RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
Actually Thanksgiving was a holiday long before Abe Lincoln was even born. As well, the Continental Congresses and early US Presidents called for days of Thanksgiving at various times when national events warranted it. The first Thanksgiving holiday in North America was in 1619:
Settlers held first Thanksgiving at Berkeley Plantation, Virgina on December 4, 1619, a year before the Pilgrims arrived at Plymouth.
Each first Sunday in November a Thanksgiving Festival is held at the Berkeley Plantation in accordance with documentation from 1619. The event fulfills instructions given to the 38 settlers who arrived on the banks of the James River at Berkeley as documented in the proclamation:
"Wee ordaine that the day of our ships arrival at the place assigned for plantacon in the land of Virginia shall be yearly and perpetually kept holy as a day of thanksgiving to Almighty God."
The "Pilgrims" first Thanksgiving Holiday was in 1620:
"In October 1620, when the 20 acres of corn the Pilgrims had planted under Squanto's tutelage had been harvested, they wanted to hold a celebration festival. They invited Massasoit and the Wampanoag, and of course Samoset and Squanto as well, to come and celebrate with them. Massasoit came a day early, with 90 braves, plus women and children. The Pilgrim women's hearts must have sunk, because they were going to have to use the corn stored up for the winter to feed this crowd of Indians. But Massasoit had thought of that, and had ordered some of his men to hunt for the occasion. They brought with them five deer strung up on poles, and wild turkeys. There were fish from the bay, berries and other fruits, roasted corn, and the Pilgrim women supplied vegetables from their gardens. The festival lasted three days, complete with bow and arrow shooting contests, foot races, and relay races. It was a good and peaceful time for whites and Indians together.
I suspect that many times during those festivities the Pilgrims stopped to thank the Lord for His miraculous provision of Squanto. Had it not been for him, there would have been no cause for celebration and thanksgiving. God had sent this American Indian, who spoke English fluently, ate English foods, understood English customs and ways, and knew about the Christian faith because of his time with the Spanish monks: the right man, in the right place, at the right time. Only God can do something like that. . .
That, my friends, is the true story of the first New England Thanksgiving; the real reason this holiday should be special in Americans' hearts!"

RE: Happy Thanksgiving USA hosts and members
I'm confused by the date quoted (October 1620) Surely you meant 1621, as the Pilgrims did not arrive in the "New World" until November 1620 at what is now Cape Cod, and it wasn't until December when they finally landed and settled at what would be called Plymouth Colony. With little rations, only a few buildings, the Pilgrims were ill-prepared to face that first winter. Starvation and disease claimed more than half (55 out of 102 died), with only 6 well enough to care for the rest. The next Spring and Summer a crop was planted, more houses built, and in October of 1621 the harvest was celebrated. After that time, there was no consistent or official "Thanksgiving" until Washington's Proclamation in 1789, and then still, it was not an annual, official, national holiday until Lincoln in 1863. After Lincoln, the date was assumed until an Act of Congress in 1941 made it the 4th Thursday of November

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I hope everyone had a great holiday and whether you're American or not -- since this is also the official start of the Christmas rush -- here's wishing everyone around the world a joyous season.
And now that Thanksgiving is over, I imagine many people are out shopping and fighting the crowds to take advantage of "Black Friday" sales. Hope you have a black belt in karate because some of these shoppers are crazy!

LOL does North Korea need reasons to do anything they do? I don't know if they have specific reasons, or feel S Korea has done anything, but Pyongyang has demonstrated complete disregard for things in the past, and been quite uncooperative in working with world leaders
RE: facts
wayne,, excuse me, I didn't understand fact number 2, can you tell more, by the way have a great day and if your ever in the state, come over and I will show you something you wouldn' t ever thought could happen.
RE: facts
actually south korea held their annual military exercises. north korea going through a succession used it as an excuse to pump up the next Kim as a 4 star general with no military experience.
RE: facts
Excuse me? I don't want USA involved between South Korea and North Korea because USA already in war with 2 countries by right now.. USA citizen told to government 'ENOUGH ENOUGH ENOUGH" Because We cant afford to pay more tax and lose more soliders for wars! Enough!!
RE: facts
I doubt any good USA man or woman wants that, but the sad reality is, if South Korea and North Korea go to war, it may very well include those who are allies of each side, whether we want it or not. Such is the unfortunate way of the world.

South Korea with Iraq
Pyongyang with Bush
and this could be a story we've already been told

i have a problem with people who whine about saddam hussein being taken out. i've wondered since the late 80's how ur civilized world coupd allow that murderous butcher to exist.
as far as i'm concerned, if they had told me he put his left shoe on before his right shoe, would have been reason enough

what's a good gift?
I wish to send my favorite host a gift for her Saint birthday but don't know what is appropriate.
RE: what's a good gift?
And so it begins....send her a nice picture of yourself, or a poem you wrote, or something romantic, from the heart and valueless in terms of money...see how that works out for you.
RE: what's a good gift?
Totally agree, don't start or get sucked into sending expensive gifts, if she really cares the poem and nice words and photo is the very best. After, remember she works here and probably has gotten lots of flowers and expensive lingerie from Victorias Secret or La Perla
RE: what's a good gift?
the best gift is one u decide to give from ur own thoughts not by asking others
RE: what's a good gift?
I appreciate all the responses, even the not so serious ones. My main concern is to get an idea of what is customary and appropriate. I wasn't even sure if gifts were appropriate for that occasion, just assumed they were.
RE: what's a good gift?
handcrafted realistic dildo with the head in the shape of the saint's head.
RE: what's a good gift?
not your best work almea, but at least that shows signs of thought & effort.the fact that it's not funny,is unimportant after the hole you've been in,there is light at the end of your tunnel :--)
RE: what's a good gift?
Maybe a set of good cosmetics that she cannot find in her country. For example, natural cosmetics of a good brand suit almost every woman. And we always like to try new creams on our skin.:)
Or maybe lingerie. I got lingerie once and since it was from the guy I like, I still remember about that with a warm feeling.
I would say in general, it is better to buy something that suits only her. It is quite memorable.

RE: what's a good gift?
If you send flowers to a girl in Eastern Europe or Russia, remember to send an odd numbers of flowers. Even numbers are sent only for sad events like funerals.
Other than that, there aren't any customs that are so different than in the West. Women are women. Assuming the girl cares for you, then gifts from the heart will make the most impact regardless of cost.
The one thing I would advise is not to send a photograph. For one, you've probably already done so via email, and for another, it's incredibly arrogant and makes assumptions about her desire to keep your image on her nightstand or in her wallet that may not be accurate.

If she would consider a photo "arrogant" then she doesn't like you and you're wasting your time and money sending you anything!
RE: what's a good gift?
omg dasha! you running those ads on UK TV - send me all your old gold!!! ?
RE: what's a good gift?
sigh, only on this site with you find a guy willing to jump through a bunch of hoops to buy presents for a girl he will never meet, much less sleep with. why don't you wait and see how much time/effort/money she spends to send YOU a gift for Christmas, Casanova?
RE: what's a good gift?
Now that was the best answer! Having been there and foolishly done that, I soon learned she never took the time and effort to ever send me anything at all. Even replying to emails was an effort and extremely rare.
RE: what's a good gift?
we have exchanged gifts many times, Christmas, birthdays, Easter, valentines day other occasions. but i always never think about saintday because it is not part of our customs. last year she was a little hurt I did not remember, and I have no idea what kind of things are appropriate
RE: what's a good gift?
ROFLMAO Gem! You say you dont care about money? Then why not u give me of your money now? please I need money to pay off bills! LOL

Unusual choice of the language-why do u wanna learn it?:)

you could try: Ruslan - Russian 1
They sell a workbook and audio CD ( the 2 go together) it's what my tutor used when i went to evening classes. They use the cryllic alphabet not the western which many others use.
Good luck

RE: Russian Language learned thru CD's
If you have Iphone- there are some Apps for the students of Russian language. My friend who tried to learn Russian had a nice course with pictures which I found pretty good for a start and not boring.
RE: Russian Language learned thru CD's
For me CD's or online are not helpful. I'm the kind of person who needs direct teaching either in a class or in a private tutoring relationship. However, here in the USA, such professional services are astronomically expensive, and therefore prohibitive to me. Good luck, tho!
RE: Russian Language learned thru CD's
The Russian language is indeed a challenge to learn, first of all is the alphabet (which you should start with - there are some good websites that help you with it though, just google 'cyrillic/russian alphabet', then there is pronounciation, which at times sounds quite different from what you may expect unless you are into slavic languages, then there is grammar - to give an example there are 6 cases.
While there are many CD options to be tried out, there are many good free website options as well, many of them quite extensive.
If you are seriously looking for a CD based course, you could have a look at 'Rosetta stone', apparently it is supposed to be more efficient due to teaching you via pics and pronounciation in addition to words. And it requires you to speak out loud, giving you a chance to perfect your 'miagkiy znakh' and whatnot :)
Good luck..it takes time, and remember - practice, practice (the best practice is going there.
PS: I would have written 'good luck' in Russian, but the censorship automatically considers it as spam..go figure :(

My overall rating of camcontacts
It is very good overall. It is unique by being more intimate. By that I mean, you can talk in free chat privately. All other sites have free video preview but it is crowded with many obnoxious and noisy guests. And in my opinion most have no intention of ever going into paid pvt. So it is a very relaxed atmosphere. It is a community, a community of hosts and viewers. Even though I look much uglier than the Hunchback of Notre Dame and have a 1 inch dick, the hosts do not laugh at me. Well most don't anyway. And I am honored to be the company of so many registered viewers that happen to look better than Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp and have 12 inch dicks and meet on a regular basis with hosts for wild sex parties. Wow I'm in the company of such stud muffins, a loser like me. Who would have thunk it could happen? Do you studs have any advice on how I can grow my 1 inch dick and a plastic surgeon that performs miracles? What a great site with the hottest girls and great studly viewers who post such great real life stories.
girls wt short hair
Hi everyone. i`ve just cutted my hair short and wanted to know a few opinions from members about girls wt short hair, and from girls who cuted theyr hair, how was ur experience here after that? Thinking that many guys like long hair dunno what to expect. A very good thing now is that i have very healthy hair :). wait for opinions. xoxo
RE: girls wt short hair
I like girls with short hair, but am not into Dominatrix and other weird shit in Fetish.
RE: girls wt short hair
If I l already knew the girl the fact she now had short hair would not make any difference. If I didn't know her then it would really depend on if I found her attractive with short hair. I prefer some girls with short hair and some with long.
RE: girls wt short hair
I don't think hair length is a concern to Fetish viewers. I think of the old song by Peter Paul and Mary "Where have all the flowers gone" but with Fetish viewers in place of flowers.
RE: girls wt short hair
You will always be amazing no matter your hair length. And it's sure not going to make a difference to me. :) xoxo
RE: girls wt short hair
For me, when a girl has beautiful long hair and she cuts it short it is a catastrophe. There is no point in telling her once she has done it, because it can only make her feel bad. But it is a terrible idea.
RE: girls wt short hair
How short is short? Are we talking a chin-length bob, or something like GI Jane? There's short and there's short....
Taking notes and making a list
I've often read where hosts take notes about their viewers to remind them next time they are in their rooms. Its equally important for viewers to take notes about hosts if they are the kind that likes to see many hosts, like I do. It saves time ,money and embarrassment. I've been working on mine for past 6 months and keep it on my yahoo notepad. Its a bit of extra work but pays dividends down the road. If you have just a few favs you see all the time its not worth the effort, but if you love to explore the site, it is a very valuable asset.
It also pays to do your own research and not rely on the words or advice of others, as we all know the information written in here about hosts, whether good or bad, is not reliable. Seeing is believing

RE: Taking notes and making a list
I have seen a lot of hosts over the years and keep info as an Excel file. It always good to refer back to.
RE: Taking notes and making a list
You're right. It can be embarrassing when you tell the wrong host to put the wrong toy in the wrong hole :P
RE: Taking notes and making a list
Not only do some hosts keep notes...they send thank you cc mails to members after long videos, send them cc mails periodically asking about something that was mentioned in a chat, wish them happy birthday, offer them a reduced cost video....all excellent business...way to get and keep regulars....called relationship marketing....
RE: Taking notes and making a list
I've had many long vids and never got a CC Mail thank you. But did get a marketing CC Mail from one host I had seen several times. And yes excellent marketing.
camcontacts
OK so I have a lazy Sunday with nothing better to do except post here. (Get a life, you sad f*k, bla bla bla - there, I've saved you the effort of typing).
I love camcontacts. I've met astonishingly beautiful hosts with personalities to match and some very interesting, funny and admirable members too.
CommChat is hit and miss, it has been ever since I've been here. I went into it for the 1st time and thought it was insane. However, after awhile, I rowed myself in and had a lot of fun there.
CC say they are us, they built the site based upon their own desires and what was missing on the internet for them. I think they have succeeded admirably.
The people who are positive about CC and all it's aspects are intelligent enough to see past its flaws. Tell me, where is there a better site of its kind?

RE: camcontacts
Yes there are several but I can't name them here. But I agree with you about the girls. There are some truly incredible girls on cc
RE: camcontacts
I agree CC is a great cam site, friendliest I have seen by far. Thank you to a certain wonderful chat host and good friend for referring me. My only trouble is, I do have a life, a wife, a busy job and demanding children, so I very very rarely find the private time to visit my favourite hosts here. And when I find an hour, none of my favourites are online. So thanks CC, and thank you D.
RE: camcontacts
Well if they fit you maria you keep them, I'll just go naked with a tie.. I'm used to it now.. lol
RE: camcontacts
was really just about giving credit where credit is due...maybe a bit over the top but hey, I talk better than I type )))
RE: camcontacts
It's a cam communication site where you can have just about any kinda entertainment that you wish to include just chatting and camming with a host anywhere in the world :)
RE: camcontacts
LOL for all our euphemistic explanations, it's still basically a porn site: live, interactive porn being its main draw, as opposed to those sites which rely merely on recorded videos and photographic archives.
Please teach me some russian chat-up lines and dirty words!
I would like to chat with my favourite russian hosts, in russian. Anyone teach me some choice phrases? I'm after the kind of phrases you wouldn't find in a phrase book, that would be appropriate for a host/member chat.
RE: Please teach me some russian chat-up lines and dirty words!
there is many russian girl's here. I'm sure they would love to teach you phrase's. All you need to do is click video then click open. Or for a private lesson click 121. I hope you find what you need. :P
RE: Please teach me some russian chat-up lines and dirty words!
so hilarious, c'mon Brit dude. lots of books out there Nd websites to with Russian slang and pick-up kines. Ne rodila
RE: Please teach me some russian chat-up lines and dirty words!
Can't write cyrillic Russian here. The 'system' has defined it as automatically being spam. Ochen' klassno!
RE: Please teach me some russian chat-up lines and dirty words!
I don't think it's that the system has it defined as spam so much as the database structure is archaic and doesn't support the UTF-8 characterset.
RE: Please teach me some russian chat-up lines and dirty words!
To be more precise - the system does support, at least to the extent of showing the characters correctly if writte here - on the forum. What I wrote previously was one single word (name). It got posted, replied to, and then deleted, which surprised me. So I asked support why it was deleted, and the answer was (snipped):
"The post was indeed deleted as it contained Russian language, the system automatically deleted it.
The system thinks its spam and deletes it, we apologize if this has cause any inconvenience to you."

Comm Chat
Well, there have been a couple recent threads regarding Comm Chat, and how certain people don't like it.
Simple solution: if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to go there.
For the most part, I find it entertaining and interesting, with good people. And I'll be damned if I can figure out who this "comm chat mafia" is.
If you choose to disagree, how about using your name or handle when you respond, instead of hiding behind "anonymous"?

RE: Comm Chat
Totally agree, with using real handles here, and that comm chat is a great chat forum. I visited comm chat yesterday to find out what all the fuss is about, and I really enjoyed it. I find it a positive and lively place. I think you would ALL miss it if it were gone.
RE: Comm Chat
Well said Patrick, As someone below posted, comm.chat is what we make it, or words to that effect. Personally, I never knew folks like johnz existed until I went there. I even follow his blog!
RE: Comm Chat
I dont want to show my host name, sorry. But commchat is ok place, i often there and know most members who were mentioned below. I just dont like if members pm me without itentiones to go to my video then, but with a lot of personal questions. Beside it the place can be very useful and even fun sometimes.
RE: Comm Chat
cherryheart presumably thinks you are some "jerk from the street" by remaining anonymous!
RE: Comm Chat
The thing is that when there are certain members in comm chat they act as if comm chat only belongs to them. Certain hosts act as their bitches and act as if they (hosts) are willing to kiss these members' asses. Then a newbie ask anything and he remains ignored as if nobody knows or nobody saw anything. Why? because the "Masters" or "Regulars" have pissed and marked the territory. They dont only own the chat, but the hosts that are always there. They are entitled to make obscene comments to the hosts and the hosts celebrate it. Ah, but God forbids a newbie say anything sexual about their "girls". Its a pretty stupid scenery that I am not willing to live again.
RE: Comm Chat
aww cmon Lester, you can come into chat and say anything you like to my bitch )))
her name is johnz btw
her name is johnz btw
RE: Comm Chat
I will also not say my screen name. I prefer not to, but I want to say that I dont like Community Chat. Is a waste of time. Members only there to chat and some few people come there as a private club. Is always the same guys saying the same boring things, making fun and scoffing of each other. I was there about 2 weeks and got bored.
RE: Comm Chat
It's a shame u think that - I met most of my fav hosts in comm.chat. I was happy and they got richer. ))))
RE: Comm Chat
I have to rephrase my response to you because I think the original got blocked. Jeez CC you can be so sensitive at times. :P
I have spent so much money on this site it would have been cheaper to buy CC outright.
Laugh CC please, you know it's true.

RE: Comm Chat
I tried it a long time ago and did not care for it. And have not been back since.
RE: Comm Chat
oh for crying outloud. grow the hell up lester. so what name is is you use in chat))))))))))000000
RE: Comm Chat
Well Patrick, you see the responses. Main thing for me is how lazy it is to post only negatives and how much more effort it takes to see the good in something.
RE: Comm Chat
Well I was a part of the negative comments. Re-reading them, they were especially harsh, but certainly not intended for everyone. At the risk of resurrecting the Warchant-RomanHoliday conflict, I would say that I was thinking in particular of a certain few (won't name names here in General Forum) It is the way they treat others that disgusts me, regardless of personal feelings or whether someone might be new here and on uncertain ground. (Sarcasm: Certainly a good impression to make of what life is like here at CC) But like many, I have met most of my favorite hosts in ComChat. And if the private messages ffrom hosts begging you into videochat would cease, and if there would be some consideration for people's feelings, it would be a great place to interact (and is, when those things aren't happening)
To the host who said, "all people do is come there to chat" -- yes, that is the purpose of it, a place to chat and interact with others from the site, that isn't just a one-on-one host/member experience.

RE: Comm Chat
What's that chat is about? I went there 2 or 3 times and its all just a lost of time. Nothing interesting. Its a waste of time and only filled with people that really need a life. It's just my opinion.
RE: Comm Chat
I dont come here "trying" to be the coolest guy on earth be loved by a bunch of hosts that work in this site. I said "my opinion" and I didnt direct it to not "one" person in specific. I just directed my perception to the concept. I am sorry if you felt personal offended. And no I dont feel superior for saying my opinion or I am not entitled?
RE: Comm Chat
sure you are entitled Pete but it sounded so negative - anyway, easy to avoid parts of the site you don't like - and I guess we are all bored with this topic now
RE: Comm Chat
Ahhhh, what a fun thread of conversation. At the risk of being repetitious (which I will be):
1) If you don't like comm chat --> don't go there.
2) If you go to comm chat and still don't like it --> leave.
3) If you go to comm chat and still don't like it and don't leave --> that's YOUR issue, not anyone else's.

You sound like those old bumper stickers back in the 1960's and 1970's: "America: Love It or Leave It"
Pity the world isn't so black-and-white, and things so simple as you would make it.

RE: Comm Chat
Well, Roman, I wasn't talking about the world; I was merely talking about this situation, which actually is that simple.
Go to comm chat or not - your choice.
Stay in comm chat or not - your choice.
As far as I know, no one else forces you to make a decision either way. If you can't decide for yourself, that's your problem. Live with it.
As for the rest of the world, that's not the issue here.

RE: Comm Chat
well the reality is there are good things and bad things about everything, and that would include CommChat. And the reasons people have for coming to comchat are multitude, even if they happen to dislike or even despise certain elements of it.
As for me, I'm quite able to make my own decisions about everything, even comchat, so I certainly don't need you lecturing me about whether I should stay or not. I choose to go even if there are some quite negative experiences there, because I also have some positive experiences. When the negative factors I spoke of earlier are present, I'm there usually only a few minutes, then I'm out. When those elements are missing, I don't mind staying and enjoying chat with folks. And if certain favorite folk are present, it makes it all the more enjoyable, even if the negative crap happens to be going on at the same time.
And maybe some folk go hoping maybe this time it will be better. Or perhaps even hoping to improve the whole situation.

RE: Comm Chat
"Apples and oranges" to my original assertion. You’re trying to add an additional element beyond that scope. The “reason” for or against going was not under consideration; in fact, I don’t really care about the reason – that’s personal to everyone, irrelevant in this particular situation, and a topic for another thread, not this one. “To go or not” and “to stay or not” were the considerations.
However, some of what you say still supports that original premise rather than disproves it.
However, some of what you say still supports that original premise rather than disproves it.
RE: Comm Chat
And now I have to amend my last statement, since I think I tried to add an element myself:
"To go or not" was in my original posting; "to stay or not" was added later.
"To go or not" was in my original posting; "to stay or not" was added later.
RE: Comm Chat
Wolfe, the comparison is in the simplistic response, not in the overall distinctions between the two analogies. Your simplistic response does not take into consideration the variety of reasons, and therefore it is an oversimplification (and therefore unrealistic, IMO) answer to the problem of people being disgruntled. Maybe they like the opportunity of comchat but don't like what some have made it. Why should it then be for them an "either...or"... either like it and stay or don't like it and leave? Maybe you don't care about people's reasons, but those who have reasons certainly do.
As for Comm Chat Mafia -- its not my term, nor have I ever used it -- but as I have read the other posts in this thread, I can see where some would be coming from on this terminology... referring to those who dominate the discussion, the frustration of some to enter into meaningful dialogue but ignored by the dominant conversants or at times (and I have most certainly seen it) "bullied" into silence. I asked a host one time why she was so nasty to another comchat member and her reply was "because I like it". I've seen certain members launch into tirades belittling another member and cutting him to verbal shreds because of his name, or because he said something considered stupid or disagreed with; I've seen a member totally berate a newbie host because she either didn't understand the unspoken "rules" or perhaps just plain disregarded them. And I've seen this kind of activity numerous times. I can certainly understand those who feel there is a self-appointed "CommChat Mafia"
Oh well, this is now the 3rd, maybe 4th, thread on this topic. I'm tired of explaining my position, and done with it.

RE: Comm Chat
Well said Roman and community chat should be a comfortable place for old and new members and hosts to go. It should be open and welcome to all!! For a few to claim it as their territory and act inappropriate when it is a public chat room here shows exactly the problem. No one should feel intimidated or harassed in anyway!! To the ones that are in denial of the behavior and defend it is a good example how powerful in their mind they are...lol. The simple word is being a "Bully" which isn't socially acceptable regardless of your age but most prominent in adolescence and children. My suggestion is grow up and be civilized even if you are hiding behind a screen name!
RE: Comm Chat
Roman, my original premise still stands, despite you trying to "muddy the waters" with talk about the reason: you have the choice to go there or not. I made no assertion regarding the reason because it's personal to everyone, and absolutely none of my business.
Prove me wrong, if you can.
Prove me wrong, if you can.
RE: Comm Chat
I have to agree with so childish. WarChant and WolfeVA and even Allyoop and few others show themselves for what they really are just little children. And Roman you made your point so why not just be quite and let them show their true colors? plain to see who the ChatMafia are! hahaha
RE: Comm Chat
LOL
I don't see that Roman made any defensible point with respect to all having the choice to go to chat or not, which was my original single point of discussion.
So tell me exactly where it is that I said anyone (and I mean ANYONE) was not welcome to come into chat. I believe all are welcome, Mr and Mrs Anonymous (which, by itself, seems to indicate you're afraid to stand by your statements).
And if I'm part of that so called "Mafia," my invitation must have gotten lost in the mail somewhere (War, Ally, did mine get sent to one of you by mistake?) As I recall, ad hominem attacks (I think you would call that "childish") show that a person clearly is unable to defend his/her point.

RE: Comm Chat
i figured out the real problem with the forums. since thenakedtruth left, yhou dont have a mafia boss. therefore, we poor despicable stupid people in the chatroom are going to taker nominations to replace so you can have something better to do than whine about us :P
RE: Comm Chat
I suppose it depends on the person's reasons for not liking comm chat whether or not your advice should be followed Wolf.
RE: Comm Chat
Well, how else could I have met someone like johnz if not through commchat? I didn't know before that americans lived in vans, had crack whore gfs and fraternised with dope dealers. So exciting! I just go to art class every week and try to make old ladies laugh.
RE: Comm Chat

Why most TSs are in Philapines?
Why are most TSs in Philapines? I would think they would be evenly distributed in all countries. Is it culturally more accepted there? BTW, some are just beautiful!
RE: Why most TSs are in Philapines?
You only have to see a UK bricklayer in full drag to answer your question. I did once and I'm still trying to erase the memory.(((
RE: Why most TSs are in Philapines?
Well, pick me up off the floor! OMG Ally, that was hilarious!
RE: Why most TSs are in Philapines?
The poorer the country the more creative the people in ways to make money i reckon. Have you seen many scandinavian or canadian hosts for example?
Russian/English mix up
Can anyone tell me why some Russian hosts mix up the two words naughty and nasty? If you look at screen names and profiles, its clear that the word 'naughty' is intended sometimes but 'nasty' is written. Is there no direct translation or something? just curious!
RE: Russian/English mix up
I understand that "Nasty" is used idiomatically to refer to more extreme sexual behavior or fetish. It is not necessarily an inappropriate designation hosts are using.
RE: Russian/English mix up
Well in the context of a screenname it isn't necessarily "naughty" that is intended at all, and 'nasty' is perhaps being correctly used as a diminutive of Anastasia.
RE: Russian/English mix up
Had a student here from Russia called Nastya. I explained to her how it sounded in English used as a comparative, for example, "Your sister is much nastier than you!" She said that was true. I offered a discount to her sister.

the great irony is that, mostly, those looking down their noses at the no life lickers(or words to that effect)do it because they're so socially inept, they can't even fit in with that class of clientele :--)

ashes to ashes....
Bob works hard at the office but spends two nights each week bowling, and plays golf every Saturday.
His wife thinks he's pushing himself too hard, so for his birthday she takes him to a local strip club.
The doorman at the club greets them and says, 'Hey, Bob! How ya doin?'
His wife is puzzled and asks if he's been to this club before.
'Oh no,' says Bob. 'He's in my bowling league.
When they are seated, a waitress asks Bob if he'd like his usual and brings over a Crown Lager.
His wife is becoming increasingly uncomfortable and says, 'How did she know that you drink Crown Lager?'
'I recognize her, she's the waitress from the golf club.
I always have a Crown at the end of the 1st nine, hun.'
A stripper then comes over to their table, throws her arms around Bob, starts to rub herself all over him and says, 'Hi Bobby. Want your usual table dance, big boy?'
Bob's wife, now furious, grabs her purse and storms out of the club.
Bob follows and spots her getting into a taxi.
Before she can slam the door, he jumps in beside her.
Bob tries desperately to explain how the stripper must have mistaken him for someone else, but his wife is having none of it.
She is screaming at him at the top of her lungs, calling him every four letter word in the book.
The driver turns around and says, 'Geez Bob, you picked up a real bitch this time.'
Bob's funeral will be on Friday.
