I can't tell you what is right for you and it is not my place to judge but 16 hours every day is a lot of time. If you want a real woman in your life then you could focus some of your time on that instead of here. Only you know if a real woman would make you happier than CC does and only you can decide if you need to do something about it. Some hosts find contests annoying to the point that they rather not be bothered, and one where you needed the member to jump in and out of video, was especially annoying to everyone. I know one top host that will only play puzzles since while she thinks contests are stupid, you don't need to do anything but chat during the puzzle contests so it doesn't make a difference if there is a contest or not. Others, of course, are obsessed with contests and winning which obviously can be annoying to members.

By the way, with the possible exception of this last contest, every top host that I can think of usually participates in contests. Other than this last contest, it would be interesting to see who you think are the top hosts that are avoiding contests most of the time because I cannot think of one.

Thank god I can have more time with her!!!!!!...Don't get me wrong, it would probably be good for her finacially, but like she says, she is satisfied with her "chosen" regulars, and makes enough to need anymore exposure.

BadPussyDoll I think the problem goes both ways. I suspect that the majority of hosts do not really care about getting to know members (apart from the financial incentive that goes with creating the illusion of friendship).

This is not a criticism of hosts as, if I was a hot good looking 20 - 25 year old guy I would not really want to chat with fat ugly old women in their forties and fifties :P

But I think that, while hosts treat members as a cash machine members will continue to treat hosts like sexual robots (although videos like this definitely have a very large something missing).

I now tend not to video with hosts who I see in comm chat as I find that once you video with them once all you ever get after that is private messages asking "Are you coming to video ?" whereas before that they chatted to you in open.

Obviously this isn't always the case as there are a lot of members who are a lot nicer than me :P

A popular host may not be a contest winner, especially in this last contest. The rules of this last contest favored Glamour and Not Shy hosts. Members who exited a private every five minutes could vote for their host many times. An Instant Action host just does not have many members who are inclined to do that. You can figure out why.

In general, an Instant Action host will charge more (the privates are shorter). That may affect how much time a member spends just chatting to an Instant Action host.

There are bright, intelligent, sexy women in every category. I think many members know this. And many members also realize this is not a dating site. But I consider some hosts as my good friends, and certainly the categories do not put any restrictions on friendship.

First hi back.

Yes you can see the glamour girls with open legs. In fact, as far as I can tell, the only difference is that, in Instant Action the host is expected to get naked whilst in Glamour hse does not have to.

I think that the main reason that most of the hosts who won are in glamour is because they are already popular hosts (see previous competition winners) and so choose glamour because of what I said above.

Glamour can also be cheaper than Instant Action but I do not think that this is really a factor as I know a few of the girls who won have prices equal to, or higher than, the average Instant Action price.

The last contest favoured Glamour and Littleshy hosts because memebrs were bale to vote for every 5 minutes spent in video. A softcore host could have a bikini price of 1:00 per min whereas an IA host had to have $2.00. I saw that some "big name" hosts dropped their prices for the contest. In previous contests winning mainly depended on money spent. Talking more generally I think members who frequent IA are mainly interested in a fast show and a cum. (this is what the category is about after all). They are not generally so interested in establishing the sort of relationship with a host that gives the urge to give them the support required to feature well in a contest.

I am afraid everyone is different I always went to instant action to try and cut out time wasting, but if true glamour is more to my taste these days we all need a bit of foreplay and teasing as long as the result still comes

First, please try using paragraphs and lines between them. I got a headache reading your post.

Second, CC is not like other sites. Many guys will spend a lot of time just chatting with hosts and won't even ask for a show or at least won't ask that often. And come contest time, the friendships that develop as a result of all of that time chatting naturally cause members to try to help out hosts that they like.

None of this means that instant action doesn't have its place or that one cannot chat and get to know and become friends with an instant action host. It just means that when given the opportunity to join together in an effort to achieve a common goal, a member is going to be more likely to team up with a host that he has a good relationship with and that relationship is more likely to develop via chatting than stripping. And don't forget that usually members can win a prize too so hosts are at least giving their members emotional encouragement too to their friends and once again, that friendship developed from chatting most likely.

One last point. Many members won't spend much time with glamour, or even little shy, hosts since they don't want to be bothered with worrying about whether a host will strip or if she only strips in 121. I will very often just look for not so shy or instant action hosts if I am in the mood for a show. There are probably many glamour and little shy hosts that would strip but I never even take the time to ask since it just isn't worth the hassel or they will tell me to go 121 at a very high price. The result of all of this is that while you might see mostly glamour and little shy hosts winning contests, you keep seeing the same ones win over and over since guys are reluctant to give unknown hosts in those categories much of a chance. That means that a host could end up making a lot more money in other categories even if she never develops a close enough relationship with members that they will return at contest time.

If you are looking for a "sweet spot", go for not so shy. This allows chatting and the potential to get to know members well, but does require nudity. It is like the best of both worlds. Then, in time, you can move to little shy if you don't mind stripping or to glamour if you prefer not to strip after you get a following. (I say little shy if you don't mind stripping since guys are more likely to request a show in little shy than glamour.)

Number one reason is cost. For most members the cost of a video is very important.

Number Two...members often like to think of themselves as seducers...men who can convince a girl to do something she normally wouldn't do ...and that fantasy is more closely related to soft core.

Finally, somewhat in keeping with 2, a lot of new girls, beginners start is soft and move to instant. Rare to have a host start there. Many members look for the girl next door experience..and that arguably can be found more often in soft. Instant Action is associated with pros...kind of like going to see a hooker instead of picking a girl up in a club. No offense meant.

In terms of what appears in a video? It seems anything is possible from Glamour through Instant Action. Also non-adult hosts are often willing to move to Glamour if you ask and of course at a higher rate. So in reality you are competing with every host on CC even though you are in Instant Action. I think the perception of Instant Action is the girls are more willing to do overtly sexual acts quickly ...hence the instant in instant action. In reality that may or may not be true. Some IA hosts are huge stallers. I wish you luck. Just give a good show for a fair price with a good personality and keep yourself looking good and you will do fine...easy. :)

In this latest contest, based solely on time spent in 121, members couldn't win a prize anyway. It's a good question to ask. I can think of several reasons...

You might actually like each other (gasp) and prefer to spend time together. Perhaps you the member will gain future favors, but this doesn't necessarily influence you. You just want to help a friend.

In the case of a contest involving some skill (word games, etc.), you might want to find a host who is good at the game, since her participation will affect your ability to do well also. I am assuming here that the member is trying for a prize also.

You could be trading contest time for freebies down the road.

You could be a money slave and not give a damn how much money you spend on your favorite host, so long as she's yours for the duration (and of course she is utterly grateful). And then when you win a prize you will spend all that money on your host.

I did it to help a few friends out a bit that I sometimes visit anyway and in some cases, they had lowered their price to close to $1,00 so I was able to spend more time with them. I didn't ask for or expect anything in return, but one host did provide some free time for those that helped her. But there was no agreement for this ahead of time.

I loved this contest and hada lot of fun. Some hosts dropped their price, or at leat their 121 price and some offered incentives to persuade viewers to leave, vote and come back such as taking off an item of clothing for each time. You could spend $20 - $25 and be guaranteed to see a host naked when this would normally have cost much more, with no guarantees.

Priority doesn't mean ignore other viewers that enter open session. It simply means that while the host should try to be fair to all viewers, if she is in the middle of something with the first viewer, she shouldn't all of a sudden stop what she was doing just because a subsequent viewer enters. The second viewer should wait his turn.

Sometimes there really is no conflict if the host is just chatting. But sometimes, if during a show, the first guy might be asking for something, and it is not appropriate for the host to all of a sudden forget about him when in the middle of fulfilling that request and defer to the second guy. Now if it is not so shy and instant action, and the first guy is chatting and the second guy wants a show, that would be a little different since the second guy has a right to the show in my view in those categories where nudity is required. But outside a sitution where the rules would dictate who should have priority, the preference should be given to the first guy in video and requests from other members that enter can then be worked in.

A good host knows how to do this. If just chatting, she can handle multiple conversations at once, and guys just need to be a little patient if there is a delay in her answer. If she is putting on a show, it is even easier since she can just move around a lot and keep showing various parts of her body and varying her routine. But what often happens is that a host will pretty much ignore the second guy which is not right or she will ignore the first guy in an effort to make sure that the second guy stays which is also inappropriate. She needs to find a way to balance her time better and let each guy know she is chatting with others, especially if she is on multiple sites. Good hosts know how to do this.

By the way, in light of your attitude, you would be a host that I would be very happy to totally ignore and would be even happier if you returned the favor. I find the tone of your post to be "pathetic".

According to CC rules a host should not ignore a member who enters her video. Even if she is about to orgasm she has to at least say "hi" , possibly followed by "I'm a bit busy now" to the guy who just joined.

If you are talking about a show rather than a conversation then the first member has already gone through the chatting phase and paid to get the host naked so what he has requested should take priority, unless like member suggests, she can accomodate both requests easily.

I usually go 121 for that very reason but sometimes the price difference is so great I take the gamble on an open show and hope, that the type of member you describe, does not enter.

If another member does come in,starts demanding stuff and the host stops doing what I had requested then I would leave but would probably not hold it against the host. I would be more likely to blame the member.

I would not visit a model anymore who ignore me if other viewer comes to her room and i never ask to be first priority if a show already started when i enter.

I think most members join an open session in hopes that a show is going on. Often that is not the case. The host is just chatting. In that case I think the second member should leave. If a show is going on....he should enjoy it but allow the first member in to call the shots. That is my etiquette anyway.

Given you are not so shy, a category where nudity is required, that is how you should handle things in my view. I might not ask if it is okay to give a show in your second example since the first guy might say no. I think it might be better to explain that the second guy wants a show and the rules say you need to give one. That way, the first guy can only get angry at the second guy, CC and its rules, or himself for choosing open instead of blaming you.

Not nesseserily. Not long ago my bf told me that he wasnt in love with me anymore, he loves me but not in love anymore so he wanted to leave me and stay friends. Hosts only know their own point totals unless of course hosts are telling others what their totals are. Only CC knows the point totals for everyone. Maybe this is intentional so that hosts keep playing since they cannot be sure they have a big enough lead to stay in top 20.

Personally, I think it would be more interesting to see the totals, and I think it would get hosts more interested in getting votes and maybe lowering prices to attract members. Then again, hosts get crazy enough at contest time so perhaps nobody should add to this condition. I was even disconnected by one host because I didn't vote immediately after the first 5 minutes.
