Falling in love with hosts here is natural and largely harmless. As long as you don't act on it too seriously...like send money, or plan a month long trip to Perm or Rostov, or otherwise overreact to what is likely a passing, fantasy infatuation. It is often difficult to decide that you will never ever see a host again. 2 months (8 or 9 weeks) is a reasonable amount of time and an achievable target. The goal is to get some clarity and the ability to manage your feelings. Results will vary but it is easier than spending all your emotional energy and/or money hoping against hope that the host will one day return your feelings.

I guess you are talking about me running away for two months so I'll explain because I think that what the woman told you about men was wrong. Men love. Members love. Hosts love. The feelings that we feel here are very real. But this is a fantasy site and it is sometimes necessary to do what is best instead of what is easiest.

The original poster didn't say that he (or she) and the host were in love with each other. He said that he fell in love with a host. I'm assuming that the host does not love him back. Maybe the host is even married, or has a BF. Maybe children.

To do this at home..open a window...take a walk if you can....if you have access to a CPAP machine (gimme that grandma) it will help oxygenate your blood. Having a fan in your face helps a bit too. You can take a hot shower or steam bath. It dehydrates you so first follow step 1. Your pee should be almost clear to assure you are hydrated. The sweat from a hot shower or steam bath can help remove toxins. Then continue to drink water. Generally the best cure is time. Xanax or other anti anxiety meds can help you relax. Try and not sleep too long the day after. You will want to get a good nights sleep the night after the binge drinking. Next time you go out...have a glass of sparkling water or club soda or tonic with lime between each alcoholic drink. It keeps you from drinking as much and keeps you hydrated which is essential to avoiding a hangover. Alcohol dehydrates and you need 8-12 oz of water for every alcoholic drink you have just to stay even.

A price of $1 dollar or less per minute for open or 121 video where the host agrees to strip is almost always a go for me if the host and I get along in free chat and I like her profile pics. At that price I will do a longer video of 15-20 minutes or longer. If the price is much higher I would be forced to do a shorter video and at some point I would decide it just wouldn't be worth the expense for such a short video.

If you are saying the higher you charge the more you will make then good for you. It comes down to the old decision. Do you charge less and do more minutes of video or charge more and do less minutes of video. The answer is at the end of the day how much money did you make? If you make the same regardless of price then you would go for higher priced videos. Not everything is so black and white and you shoudn't generalise. I spend $1500 a month on cc, so I presume I don't qualify as a "poor" member, but i hardly ever visit any host over $1 a min. I just prefer long videos, so that becomes impracticable at the higher rates unless I only wanted as few as 6 or 7 videos a month.

It's not so much a question of price. It is much more a question of, is there a value here for me. Am I going to get my moneys worth for what I am spending.

There are several factors to think about when you set your price. Obviously you need to be attractive to get guys to click on your profile. The next thing that is important for me is the level of english that you speak, I would be willing to pay a higher rate for a girl who speaks better english so that our time together is an experience not just a show. The girl could have no price and if all I hear is "I luv u bb." I am not going to be interested at all. If the girl is able to carry an intelligent conversation with me then I am going to stay longer in video with her cause she has stimulated my mind also and no matter what a guy will tell you, thats the organ that will last longer. A girl that can do that I would pay top dollar to spend time with.

I will read the other comments another time, but the bottom line is that there is no such thing as one good price for a host or group of hosts.

First, one must consider simple economics and supply and demand. Putting aside the fact that traffic can differ on various days and things like that, there is a price point that maximizes revenue for the host. For example, a host at 2,50 that gets 60 minutes of video a day would make $150 minus whatever CC and her boss (if any) gets. Theoretically, that host should get more video sessions if she lowers her price, If she lowered her price to say $2,00/min, it would take her 75 minutes of video to get that same $150, but by lowering her price, she may actually get 90 minutes of video and end up with $180 and therefore more money.

Things can work the other way too. Maybe a hosts at $1,00/min gets 180 minutes of video a day so $180 minus what CC gets and what her boss (if any) gets. If this host makes her price $2,00/min, she needs only 90 minutes of video to get this same $180, but it is possible that the increase will drive too many people away so she ends up with, for example, only 75 minutes of video and gets $150. Now, the price increase has hurt her.

Hosts need to figure out where the optimal price is. The first host made money by lowering her price. But if she lowers it too much, she will actually lose money because the additional video will not make up for the lower price. The second host lost money by raising her price too much since she drove customers away, but if she had raised it a little less, she might have actually made more money with a higher price.
