Tip for hosts: Profile Pics
Ladies, I strongly suggest making sure you have a very nice pic of yourself as your main profile pic for members. The pic needs to be accuate and not overly photochopped because deceiving a member is a great way to get a one minute video and one star by the way. Just a nice pic where you show yourself at your best to get a member's attention is what I mean. But too many of the profile pics I see here are not that great, and I pass right over them.
Put some makeup on, comb your hair, put on some sexy clothes, smile, and take a nice pic for your profile pic. It is the same type of thing you do every time you go to a club so do it for your pics. The archive pics are important too, but obviously the profile pic is most important. And make sure the cam settings and lighting are good as well. This is a video site after all. And try not to be too far from the cam so I can actually see what you look like otherwise what's the point of even having a pic?

Well some guys are posting "best profile" pics each day in the viewer forum so that can help you (although some are just listing their favorite hosts or joking around). I suppose I can list a few hosts that I like when I get a chance to give you an idea of some good pics. I would love to list the bad ones, lol, but I will be nice.
The key to remember is to make yourself look as good as possible and not just wake hope, have your coffee, and say "Guess I need some pics for the archives today" or "Traffic has been slow. Guess I will take a new profile pic today" regardless of how you look at the moment. And of course not everyone is equally attractive, but while they may be viewed as "popular" or as "beautiful", I can tell you that not all the cover girls are nearly as attractive as they seem in their contest pics or archives, but they get a member in the room and take it from there. I like to spend time going through and reading profiles. I'll look through all the pics a host has, and some of them have a lot. What gets my attention most are the regular cam pics. I have no use for the glamour style and professional looking photo shoots and I usually skip over those since they don't really show what I will see in video, which is what I am here for.
I spend more time at, and will probably be more likely to move from reading the profile to going to video or at least breaking the ice in text chat, when the profile pics give a good impression of what I can expect in video.

Made the same mistake myself once. I learned that falling for a host can turn this dreamland into a nightmare.
As far as I know, the only solution is to take a break from the host. I needed two months. Hopefully you need less.

After taking a long hard look at myself and my situation i have decided to walk away from her even though i love her and before wcw steals her from me.

It can be dissapointing when hosts ignore you. I rarely send mails to hosts but when I do, I expect a reply. It is simple courtesy.

A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary woman walking a pit bull on a leash. Behind her, a short
distance back, were about 200 women walking single file.
The woman was so curious that she respectfully approached the woman walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now is a bad time to disturb you, but I have never seen a funeral like this.
"Whose funeral is it?"
"My husband's."
"What happened to him?"
The woman replied, "My dog attacked and killed him."
She inquired further, "Well, who is in the second hearse?"
The woman answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my husband when the dog turned on her."
A poignant and thoughtful moment of silence passed between the two women.
"Can I borrow the dog?"
"Get in line." :--)

As someone has done the real thing, with one of Washington DC's best, I can give you a little insight. My Mistress always sat with me before a session and we discussed what were my interests during the scene. I had a safe word, but I always told her that I wanted her to test my limits, to see how much I could take, and that I wanted to impress her. I always brought her a gift like jewelry or chocolates, and I always gave her a nice tip that was in the envelope. She never looked at the envelope until after I left because we had mutual trust. I think it is smart business to offer an incentive to members. Most hosts have stuck to their pre-crisis pricing and are spending a lot of idle time. If business is bad do something different.
