Back in 2004, I met a chat hostess here who used to work under this screen name. The photo on there is from the girl who worked under that screen name after her. The girl who I met used to hang out in community chat all the time and her name was georgy and she was from Romania. She stopped working here in July of 2004. She had decided to quit because she wanted to concentrate on her studies.
When she quited, she asked me to quit, too which I agree to do. We have continued to chat since then. She is going to a University now and tells me she has a job as a sales representative. She is studying International Business.
She said she has an opportunity to come to the USA with my help. She told me her University has a program which allows students to get work visas for the summer. The cost of the program is 800 dollars. She has asked me to loan her the money and help her find job here. She would like to stay with me to save housing costs.

So ,what do I do? If she is lying about web camming, there is no way I will help her.

What you don't do is post all this jub to the public forums and expect any sane response. It occurs to me that as an ex-memeber the LAST place to look for sane advice would be in public on here. For the cynical among us it would seem an odd course of action to take unless there was some ulterior motive present.

The reason for posting here is quite simple. I no longer do video and my friends both in real life and on the internet to my knowledge do not frequent cam sites. So, I am unable to discuss with yhem that aspect of my quandary.

Be careful there are alot of girls after 1 thing, MONEY. I to have had a similar situation. What I did is ask for the details of what she wanted paying and who to contact at the place, she soon dropped of sending me emails. She was just after the money as I suspected.

I cannot judge your specific case but i do know that it is very easy to find reasons to doubt someone if you look at everything with suspicion. How have you been able to chat? Dies she have a PC at home? Does it have a cam?. The reason i ask is that it is possible she has friends in a studio and brought the pet in to be able to send you the pic. This evidence alone does not mean she is chat hosting again. Tere are other possible explanations.

I agree with "A Member" that there are other possible explanations. But I think all of us think that "former member" is going to be ripped off here - including I suspect himself. I think trying to get her to send/show some paperwork in relation to this would be a good idea - or even asking her to give you bank account details to transfer the money to would be slightly less foolish than the "send the money via Western Union and please use my cousin/friends name and details on the form" method that I imagine she will request.

Perhaps you should get an international money order payable only to the order of the government agency or association that is running the program. You would of course verify the existence of such an entity before that. That gives some limited protection and recourse. Better tell her to pay for the program and you will pay for the plane ticket. Make the ticket in her name...refundable only to you. Easy to do. Either she uses it or you get your money back. She cannot sell it or have someone else use it unless they have the same name and ID>

She does have a computer at home. Her system has a web cam attached to it. She does have another cam which I am not sure if it is a digital cam or a cell phone with a cam.

There are many different programs and some are discount and only help with the paperwork and a list of possible jobs. If you want a job for sure they charge much higher.
A good job to find for her is a high-turnover job like office cleaning or cleaner/cook in nursing home. The pay is not good and the conditions aren't so great, but once she has a job there she can use free time to find a second or better job.
But the idea to get a ticket that is refundable to you only, or having her take a loan that you'll pay off as soon as she arrives is best.

The funny thing is that u send them money and they laugh their ass thinking u re such a fool and they are so smart . Once i played with a girl who asked me 200$ , she said will send me back the money in 3 months , i agreed as werent much money and i was curious to see if she really is honest . Before I posted, I checked her old screen name and saw it has not been activated for over a year. She has asked me for money in the past. I have sent her money for christmas and her birthday. They were gifts so not complaining about them. In terms of her staying with me, I have talked to about her getting an apartment or possibly renting a room which I would help pay for. I ve met a girl an year ago or so and visited her once in a while, we ve become somewhat "friends" not lovers or anything like that but we had nice chats as she gave me her yahoo id .... i have sent her some money as she sugested is in very big trouble was not a big deal for me , the thing is i noticed she makes time to talk to me when is in need of money, oh yeah ok some will say give her dude or if u dont want to help shut up ...but i m trying to understand how hard can be this work? i mean sitting in front of pc ? she s not into adult just teasing , striping .....she s online 2-3 days a week for a few hours .

All I can say you will find a few girls on here like that. They will give you some sob story, about how bad there life is. Then they will say anything to get the money out of you. They play on your weakness's.
You don't say whether you have met her for real or just on here. There are some very genuine girls on here. But its like real life. Just sorting out the bad from the good. Maybe confront her about it and see her reaction. Or just walk away.

sounds like a load of crap and youre the sucker eating it all up... i have my own problems too... but i have never asked for money... i have been offered, but it took alot for me to give into even the offer... and yes, i honestly did need it too... im sure there are tons of girls on here that would at least be honest with you... you should at least be generous to one of those girls (like me ;P) instead. i'm sure theyd be even more greatful and also be willing to work for it by spending lots of time with you in video chat instead, if that would make you her or both feel beter about it... sounds like you know the answer to your own question, and you want some "back up" in your concience...

hmm, let me get this straight ... this is her only job, she spends a few hours at it a week, the rest of the time she is either at Uni in class (presumably) or at home studying ... and she passed 2 and missed 6 ... hmmm, most Uni chicks I know spend most of the day at school in class, work most afternoons or evenings (waitressing or whatever) and study whenever they get a chance, sometimes well into the night, and they almost invariably pass their exams with out too much trouble ... sounds like this host of yours might actually be a bit thick and (as you suggest) is terribly lazy and wants someone to pay her way ...
