Understand Anonymous your point is well taken. However this topic may very well come up again and again, since we are talking about human behavior, even though it may be the internet. In the past we have had more generalized opinions on this subject, and I was hoping to hear more from members/chathosts on more specifics. Yes we are talking about all types of mixed personalities, therefore perhaps some would like to elaborate more on this subject? Because of the human nature of different personalities, I would "guess" there would be more opinions, and probably always will. The other side of the arguement; "well who cares," just doesn't hold "any water," as it is a common practice in adult chatrooms to at the very least, maintain some type of civility, and good taste, even in the "adult environment."

any rudeness i have witnessed or been accused of is the result of the chatroom medium - fast abbreviated cross cultural varying timezones party mode communication. Not the most conducive environment for clear perceptions. Yet once again -and always will be - honsety is the key -honesty alone is confronting for many .

Ok huh, understand where you're coming from; but not even you can deny (i don't think?) that there are some problems in there......So I think we're all just trying to address these issues, and by talking about them, perhaps we can all come together to make the comchat a better place? "cross cultural varying time zones"......"party mode communication"........."not a conducive environment for clear perceptions"........This is what I refer to as "cultural confusion," and thats putting it simple terms....! I like your statement better, and absolutely the part of Honesty....Back in college I had a psychology professor who told us (our class, and I never will forget it) "Remember that the botttom line to everything you do in life will come down to this question"......"Ask yourself, what is the Truth?" The truth (honesty) will be, what we all will have to face......some sooner, some later! Wouldn't it be nice if there was common unity!? All discourse and arguements would be solved much better, and faster! :))

Yes Vera, you raise a very important point! I have seen this myself when members/chathosts leave the chatroom, or are not in the chatroom at all, and their names are brought into the chat. It is Not Fair at all to the person Who Is Not There To Respond in kind to those chatting about him or her.....! It is a very cheap and cowardly thing to do! :((

Sorry to hear that you got tricked - but unfortunately there are plenty of people on this site, hosts AND viewers, who seem to have a problem actually telling the truth. "No you don't, I'm not going to accept that. It's late."
The student looked incredulous and angry.
"Do you know who I am?"
"No, as a matter of fact I don't," replied the professor with an air of sarcasm in his voice.

"No, and I don't care." replied the professor with an air of superiority.

Yes, I've been having the dreams too. I fear it's only a matter of time.. a very short matter of time until they finally arrive.
Stay strong everyone. Prepare yourselves. Eat plenty of garlic and onion and don't bathe or practice any sort of squeeky-clean hygiene for at least the good solid week we have left.. with some luck, they'll all pass you over for someone more olfactorily appealing and tastier seeming, and perhaps you'll survive to be one of the few to help repopulate once their appetites have been satisfied.
Stay strong everyone. Prepare yourselves. Eat plenty of garlic and onion and don't bathe or practice any sort of squeeky-clean hygiene for at least the good solid week we have left.. with some luck, they'll all pass you over for someone more olfactorily appealing and tastier seeming, and perhaps you'll survive to be one of the few to help repopulate once their appetites have been satisfied.
