ratings, ratings, and again ratings
Hosts seem to be so concern about ratings, they think that only 5 star is good rating,
and if visitor give them less than 5 star it automatically means that visitor came in video
only to give bad ratings.
This all has gone so ridicilous, hosts blocking viewers just to be sure they cant come
and give bad ratings again, and always hosts telling that if they have average rating
less than 5 star it is only because some other jeallous host asked viewers to go and
give 1 star rating to this other poor and innocent host.
So, ok maybe CC should rebuild this whole rating system, and i have an idea how it
should be, so it would give enough info for us viewers to see how host succeed to
keep viewer happy.
What about if ratings will be calculated automatically by time spent in video?
20 min or more in video = 5 star
15 min in video = 4 star on first visit, if same viewer come back = 5 star
10 min in video = 3 star on first visit, if same viewer come back = 4 star

less than 2 min = no rating

i dont know abt your sistem... but i agree this sistem of rating we have now isnt the best. I wrote CC a while ago regarding this matter, and i hope they will come soon with a better solution.

Not all viwers can afford 20 mins or more video, plus a lot of guys come just for a quick hello if they cant stay long, and cuz a member just wanna say hello, a host will get 1 star?)) Doesnt seem right to me. I dont care abt ratings anyway, just saying that ur system is far from perfection too.
The best solution wud be to forbid guys that stay less than lets say 5 mins to rate. No need to invent a wheel)

I'm with Monica on this one. The biggest flaw in the current system is that a viewer can rate a host after one second in private. I think five minutes is reasonable.
There's another flaw that has to do with the minimum number of reviews a host should have before a rating appears. It seems to me new hosts get an unfair advantage when their rating appears as "5," when in fact (perhaps) this is based on a smaller number of reviews than other, more established hosts. I'm not sure how it works though, so I'm not in a position to suggest any improvements.

I agree 5 mins before being allowed to rate makes sense and could stop vengance voting if true the only benefit from rating is how high you are in list - but this only affects infrequent?

I didnt say 2 mins show, i said when a regular has just 2 mins and he wanna see me and just say hi, how r u doing bla bla ill be back when i have more time ciao sweety. Then again there are some NEW guys who saw my pic, liked me and jumped in to see if i look the same in live vid like on pix, but have just like 5 mins, and they are going to come back another time cuz now they have to go to work, lunch with friends or whatever. Do u think its fair if i get 1-2 stars for a quick acquaintance? The guy liked me lol but doesnt have time for now and have to run somewhere, and he will come back later, but i still get 2 stars cuz he doesnt have time lol? Nice)

Lol and where did u see in my post that i consider only 5 stars a good rating? Im happy as long as i have not less than 4 and even when i had 3.5 one time i still had good traffic, this is why i dont really care abt ratings (i repeat it AGAIN esp for u). Before making fun of someones post read it carefully. My post is far more sane than urs;)

The Star rating without Feedback is pointless. The Star can mean so many things. It is so subject to the whims and prejudices of the member. Maybe the member is in a bad mood, and nothing the host does can please him. Maybe the member is a trouble maker, and his purpose is just to give trouble for the host. Or the opposite. Maybe the host is his favorite, and no matter how bad her show may be, he always gives 5 stars, not really reflecting the quality of the show.

I agree with much of what you say but your comments regarding mutiple voting are not correct. No matter how many times a member visits a host and votes for her only one rating per day will count.
I support the 5 minutes rule
Your idea is excellent. Five minutes goes by flyng, but its enough time for the host to start performing or enough time for the member to know he chose a great host or a stall queen.

bad sistem.cc wont do it4 sure.. i think all guys should rate how they want but only after 10minuts of video.there must be no option to rate after1 second or so..and what about our fans who can only comer for 5 minute a day and not have money more?hmm

Casablancka I think the fairest way is for all hosts to give me a free 2 hour video and then I can rate them on the INYF naughty host scale, the INYF cute face scale and the INYF nice round bottom scale.
I think that would make everyone happy.

Perhaps a weighted system would work - a combination of the amount of time spent in video and the rating of the guest. The more time spent, the higher weighting given to the rating.

NO, I dont think the weighting principle (more time in video = greater vote value) is a good idea. The worse hosts will have same rating as the good hosts. I will not stay longer than 5 minutes with a host that promised me to strip and she did not start performing by the 4th minute. Then I can't give her any rating since i had to stay longer so my vote will count. The negative votes will have no effect on a host that have 2 or 3 money slaves coming in her 121 session for 2 or 3 hrs everyday.

Yeah I did think about it after I made my post and you're right. Again it would push the ratings up.

The problem with your system is that it would appear very difficut for a host to be much below 4 stars. The other problem with having a minimum time for being able to vote, is that the unhappy viewer is likely to leave very quickly. So, again. this would skew the results.
Having said that I don't really use the ratings system to decide on whether or not to see a host (1 or 2 stars might make me think if she was also very expensive).
I either give 5 stars or 1 star (very occasionally) or if I've just popped in on someone else's show to see if the host is naked and I find out she is not I leave and don't rate.

Unless I missed it, none of you take note of the fact that the rating is based on just the last 10 votes. I also believe that as long as the votes are on different days, CC time, one viewer can account for two of the 10 votes. This is part of the problem.
Ratings should be based on a larger sample size, say 20 to 25 votes, and each viewer should only be able to account for one of those 20 or 25 votes. Further, it would be best if CC kept track of members with multiple accounts so that each member could only count for one of those votes instead of 5 or 10 if he had that many accounts.
In terms of the amount of time in video before being allowed to vote, I think 5 minutes or $5, whichever comes first, would be the best way to handle things. This deals with the issue that hosts have different prices. Anything else gets too complicated.

That last point... lots of one-min viewers could mean lower ratings... how is that? Even if they rated five stars? This sounds like some rather arbitrary interference by CC.
I'm not disagreeing necessarily, but I don't see how that would be done without outside interference. Otherwise it's a simple calculation of the average. Right?

ive been a member here for a little over a year and i can honestly say that ive never seen a host based on there star rating.in fact when i come here looking around i start at the bottom of the online lists and work my way up.i look at a hosts pictures and then depending on how much i have to spend i look at price.oh also i prefer high speed connection and if all of that is good i go visit said host.there are some very attractive,sexy hosts here with low ratings(dont know why). also when i rate a host,i use a very simple method.if i leave a hosts room happier then when i entered it.said host gets a 5 and ive always left happier.now thats just my system.i do not,i repeat do not, suggest this be a new ratings system.

I definitely consider ratings. In my experience, anything below 4,5 stars is risky. Normally 4 out of 5 would be a good rating, but the ratings are way too high in my view since guys usually are pretty generous.

Rarely will I give a 2, 3 or 4 even though many hosts that I and others give 5 to really should get 3 or 4 stars. And if most guys rate this way, it would help explain why so many hosts are 4,5 and 5 stars. Plus, regulars almost always rate 5 stars, but to have regulars, you must be a doing something right in the first place.
All this means that it is pretty hard to get below 4,5 stars. You really need to have done a bad job in a couple of sessions. The occasional guy who is trying to hurt a host's rating with 1 stars usually cannot succeed in getting her below 4,5. It always seems to be the popular, hosts who have 4,5 and 5 stars that have these "enemies" but they never end up below 4,5 stars.

I am not too sure rating should depend directly on time spent, else girls in Instant Action or with higher $ rate could be penalised in an unjustified way. But perhaps a rating possibility should be givien to the guest only after a certain time in chat, let's say the 5 or 10 minutes or a time that could be depending on the chathost's category.

well in the news last night all the talk was no one really knows why. her announcement, I guess didnt go into details. but her announcement certainly has the golf world in an tailspin right now. I'm not sure it was her new marriage, or if she is pregnant. she always said she would retire early (in her 30's) anyway. I just think she has other greater priorities. But doggone it i think she was the best!

if you really have something special. then tell him how you feel, take a chance, tell him you love him. or have you ever spoken these words to him perhaps. tell him all you feel and think.

I'm so sad too, because there's someone here i really likem a lot. I never mind how much i spend in video with her, because i know it makes her happy. It hurts when she's in 121 with others, but i'm always waiting for her, and she likes it, that i'm there. Hosts, am i crazy?

I guess, my first post wont be uploaded, my mistake. Its the 3d time Im writing this one, first two I deleted. I dont think its a good idea to say some things outloud, but they say it helps to share...
So... First, wanted to say that you are not crazy, or at least you are not the only one crazy. =) Im a host. I have a bf. I can say that I have a normal happy life. Im hosting mainly in fetish&co, so no real sex shows nor romantic talks, not much at least, this category is very particular, not as Glamour or Lil shy. And yet, there is THAT member... that I feel so deeply falling for. Something new, that I ve never experienced before in my life. And I have to say, that I ve always considered myself as a rather cynical person, and of course I realise how "easy" it is to like or to love somebody that you know only online. Moreover, I understand that our lives are never going to cross in real. He is not single either, he has a (happy I hope) life of his own. And yet, he is coming regularly... (hope only to have some fun). Sigh... and its soo fucking hard. Really. I feel like Im hiding something or doing something wrong. but the only thought that i might never see him again kills me. Im trying to make it as less personal as possible. I dont have any intention to make things more serious, cause it can hurt too much ppl. And... I reported a few excessively long BRBs...one a girl from Brazil left her apartment to get some chips..seriously...it was like 5 minutes..and I was the dope who was sitting looking at her chair. Is not right to generalise about it being cheaper. There are some hosts in little shy charging upto around $4 min in open. For that sort of price something a lot more than just chat might reasonably be expected...especially when in other categories it could be guaranteed and at a cheaper price.

Because the lines between the categories have blurred so much it is impossible to really know what to expect. I have had amazingly hot shows in glamour and little shy at a price point that is almost always lower than Instant Action...plus while there are some really hot hosts in IA there are some that can make it look like a freak show on some nights...so...IA is not always the choice you think it is.

It's a good question and a hard one to answer as everyone is drawn to different things. I love doll4fk, she talks so well, great natural body and just the hottest show but she has very few regulars. I have seen other hosts no where near as good but they are always in 121 so who knows the answer. Will be interesting to see other replys to this post
